Re: Review: Poly Bridge (Switch eShop)

bboy2970

@DanElectrode: thanks a lot man! It worked fine with the pointer (I mean to do the split joint. Trying to controller the whole thing that way is aggregating). I really hope the devs fix this but it will work in a pinch, at least enough to beat those levels. I'm surprised this wasn't mentioned in the review

Re: Review: Poly Bridge (Switch eShop)

I really like this game but am having a major issue! I'm on 1-14 and can't get the split joint to work. When I do it in the tutorial, no problem it works fine. When I make literally the same structure on the level and double tap the joint that needs to be pulled apart, nothing happens. Idk what I'm doing wrong. Can anyone help?

Re: Random: This €369.00 Zelda: Breath of the Wild Leather Jacket is Perfect for a Mid-Life Crisis

bboy2970

I feel gross...I just put in my order for one. My rational is that I'm a collector, I can absolutely see this gaining value going forward (especially considering that very meager production run. I've only got one other thing in my collection with that few made), they have a 30 day return policy so I can kind of sit on it and see how I feel after it's actually in my hands. I still feel kind of gross though lol

Re: Random: A Free Water Bottle from the NYC Nintendo Switch Preview is Being Auctioned Off Online

bboy2970

I grabbed one on ebay for 20 bucks. I know that seems like a lot to some for a stupid item but I actually think it's quite a unique and collectible piece. Imagine if nintendo had an unveil event for nes and gave out bottles of water. Those things would be very sought after nowadays me thinks. Especially NIB (new in bottle lol). So say what you will, but for 20 bucks, I'm excited to add this to my collection. The nintendo world/ nintendo NY shelf specifically.

Re: Feature: Ten of Our Favourite DSiWare Games

bboy2970

I used to love DSiWare! So many great experiences (and a few not so great...). I have over 100 games from the service. Favorites include:

Let's create pottery (weird I know but it's surprisingly great)

Pinball pulse

Zelda Four Swords

DodoGo!

Art academy

Picdun

Spotto!

Aura Aura Climber

Shantae

Pop Island

Glow artisan

Mighty flip champs and Milky Way

Mario vs donkey kong

AlphaBounce

Trajectile

10 second run

Touch solitaire

And last but definitely not least: the Art Style series ranked from best to worst:

1: pictobits

2: base 10

3: boxlife

4: digidrive

5: precipice

6: Aquia (I can't believe this one ranked out of the others)

7: zengage (only one I don't like very much)

This has inspired me to dig back into the DSi fridge so if you'll excuse me...

Re: Hardware Classics: Pokémon Mini

bboy2970

I love the Pokemon mini! I have an entire shelf dedicated to it in my collection. ive got the blue, pink, and green systems all complete in box as well as every game from the US, every game from Europe, and 6/10 games from japan all complete in box. Those remaining 4 games are definitely on my list but they are quite expensive as the article mentions. Pokemon Shock Tetris is definitely the best game here. Ive gotten hours of enjoyment out of that one. I love the collecting element they added. Overall it is a fascinating system and one of my favorite pieces of pokemon and Nintendo history.

Re: Review: BOXBOY! (3DS eShop)

bboy2970

A 6? That is lower than I thought it would be. I was thinking 8, potentially 9. I have this on my japanese 3ds and it is a fantastic eshop exclusive game. Exactly what I want from a download only game. It's quirky, clever, and has a great style. I can't wait for the localization to come out.

Re: Review: Chariot (Wii U eShop)

bboy2970

Sorry but i've also got to chime in with a "this game is way better than the review says" comment. I would definitely give this game a solid 9 myself. I play the co-op with my girlfriend and its great fun. One of the best co-op experiences we've had together. I guess I can appreciate that the game isnt that great in single player but in its defense it was clearly made with co-op in mind. People without someone else to play with should probably pass on this one. As a multiplayer experience though, its one of the best and I haven't had this much fun with a co-op game since Rayman Legends!

Re: Rumour: Villager, Marth & Wii Fit Trainer amiibo Discontinued

bboy2970

I figured as much. They were the clear standouts of the first wave for amiibo eligible to be discontinued first. This is why early on I scooped up 3 of each. 1 to open and have, one for my collection, and one for a rainy day if I need a boost in funds. If anyone wants to grab wii fit trainer or villager quickly they still have a few at toysrus.com. I just ordered. Trainer and 2 villagers to round out my collection. It was gonna be 1 of each but they have a 10 dollar off deal for spending 35 dollars or more that made the third amiibo only cost like 4 bucks.

Re: Looks Like You Can Only Install 300 Games And Apps On Your 3DS

bboy2970

@Angelic_Lapras_King: that ain't nothing. I'm sitting at 23 3DS (and 2DS) systems myself . But anyway, this news kind of sucks but I'm only at 211 items and will likely run out of space before I hit the ceiling. I'll just gat a second sd card by that point to hold less important things.

Re: Poll: Your Favourite Showing from Nintendo During E3 Day One

bboy2970

I voted for Splatoon because it looked awesome and amazingly creative. just what the shooter genre was in desperate need of. One thing that upset me: during the omega ruby/alpha sapphire video with the kid in the cave think they were revealing a new Pokemon Snap? I was skeptical since i have been hoping for so long but when i saw the glimpse of a pokeball in his backpack, i freaked only to be extremely disappointed several seconds later. Seriously nintendo, the world NEEDS Pokemon Snap on Wii U!!!
