Korean series Pucca revolves around 10-year old girl Pucca and her seemingly never-ending quest to steal a kiss from 12-year old ninja Garu. If you just thought, "that sounds like the perfect premise for a WiiWare game", you're on the same wavelength as BigBen Interactive, as Pucca's Kisses Game is on the way to the Wii Shop Channel soon.
Costing 1,000 Points and out on Monday, February 14th, you control the titular terror over a series of levels in which you use the Wii Remote to throw shuriken, fan flames, cut down bridges and generally cause chaos, all in the pursuit of a little smooch.
There's a trailer below, just waiting for you to pucker up.
How far will you go to get what you really want?
You’ll find out soon enough in Pucca’s Kisses Game as you step into the super-fast shoes of Pucca on her relentless mission to win Garu’s affections. Freeze time using the Wii Remote™, then restart the action to leap obstacles and defeat enemies in your path, while picking up items, weapons or tools to help you on your way.If you succeed in grabbing Garu, each episode will end with a wild kissing scene to remember!
Even though the language of love is universal, the game will be available at launch in English, Spanish, German, Italian, French, Dutch, Portuguese, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish.
Run, Pucca… Run!!!
In your unstoppable pursuit of love, master the Wii Remote™ to go even faster when jumping or flying over obstacles and platforms. Jump into the Story mode for some fast and furious action: pick up a katana to defeat agile Ninjas, a pen to draw an escape route, a fan to make clouds and fog vanish…and even a towel to clean up dirty stains concealing your way out. Want more? Leap over hungry crocodiles and bad-tempered birds, defeat a bunch of tree-hiding monkeys, hurl shurikens at furious Ninjas, escape with an awesome delta-plane, and more!
Race through a total of 12 in the WiiWare™ version, each more thrilling than the last. Tackle crazy mini-games, two game modes (Story and Score Attack) and much more. The rewind feature helps players of any ability overcome even the biggest challenges and keeps the action moving through the colourful cartoon world of Pucca.
Mini games and more
For even more fun, each level ends with a bunch of brain-teasing mini-games, such as escaping from a crazy maze, putting the puzzle pieces back together correctly, finding craftily hidden objects and loads more. For determined players there’s no end to the challenges and rewards: try to beat your own records in the ‘Score Attack’ mode and replay the episodes of your choice endlessly. The perfect gift for Valentine sweethearts
Pucca’s Kisses Game will be available for download via WiiWare™ for 1000 Nintendo Points™ on February 14th, 2011.

Wow o.o The show isn't bad actually, I'm surprised they made a game about it.
Cute.
Not sure how good it will be however because there looks to be some "waggle" stuff in there which might get annoying.
The waggle mentioned in comment 2 is indeed worrying...but, well...this actually looks like it could be kinda fun.
Korea can't get lawsuits right? Because Toho is really uppety about Godzilla's likeness.
Irken thanks for telling me about the show, I am watching Ep 2, it's quit funny, THEY BRICKS! LOL
It looks surprisingly....quite inventive and fun. This could be an unexpected hit when it comes out. unfortunately it has just as good a chance to be a broken, horrid mess. I'm hoping for the former!
1000 points, better be good. I have no money at the moment so it doesn't matter but... good games should be coming out on Wiiware nonetheless.
The moral of the story is, NO means YES.
It's out in eu this Friday.
That's right, if you go to NoE site. This game is coming out the 4th in Europe for Wii, with the new fireplace WW (Cosy Fire). Alongside Animal Boxing, Digger Dan&Kaboom, Gold Fever and GloryDays Tactical Defense for DSiWare... and S.C.A.T. (NES) for VC.
Wasn't Pucca a webshow?
I remeber my Sister watching it alot, on there website, about 7 years ago.
The show wasn't the bad actually. I'll just wait to find out who is reviewing it to guess the final score. >:]
I love Pucca <3
I'm not sure about this game though....
Valentines Day... Love... Kisses... BAH, HUMBUG!!!
Man, when's La-Mulana coming out?
@JumpMad - Pucca didn't exist until 2006, and it was played on TV; you must be thinking of something else.
Never really liked the show and this game kinda looks like it might be shovelware to me.
This actually looks like a fun, quality platformer.
I hardly buy any WiiWare games, but if this comes to Australia (which seems unlikely at the moment considering that this hasn't yet been rated by the OFLC), then I'll give it a look.
haha that show is so funny! i cant believe its being made into a game im totally going to buy it the day it comes out!
That looks pretty fun, actually!
Chulip is still a much more amazing game about kissing:

Looks fun.
But.
It scares me.
Hide me mommy.
Looks like a fun platforming game, but as Koto said, the "ending" of the levels scare the hell outta me.
This may be yet another one of those Wiiware titles that turns out to be surprisingly good. This isn't something I'd devote my time and money to...but, I'm interested in seeing how this one turns out.
I used to watch this show! So cute!
I dig the style. Hopefully it'll be good - seems like its using Metroid Other M style, "NES controller style-to-point at the screen controls". And that actually seems like it'd be a good idea for a platformer.
That is too cute. I'll buy it for a low price! <RE Merchent>
Ahh, this looks fun and it is obviously hyper-cute! (Now that's an understatement!) But I do hope that the game-controls are good.
