Re: "Wide Variety" Of Third-Party Titles Planned For Switch Going Forward, Says Nintendo President

@Giancarlothomaz Nope, that is wrong, they just started the 9th generation earlier than the other companies, and that leaves Nintendo with a lot of room for flexibility, the console does not need to be too powerful to be accepted into the market, and then they can later make more powerful models, or you could count this as a generation of it's own, the Switch generation, where Nintendo pressed the reset button and turned a new leaf to get back on track as a reputable console manufacturer

@Razer Wait, did it flop with the demo? Sure, it has performance issues, and is not using native resolution, that really does not mean the game in itself isn't good, the gameplay was just as fun as all musou games have been, and the story seems to be pretty interesting, and I bet it'll be leagues ahead of Breath of the Wild on that regard, and the shortcomings really aren't stopping the fanfare and hype around the game

@horizoniki This isn't a spin-off though, I this technically does fall under canon, since it is telling the story of a 100 years prior to Breath of the Wild, the first Hyrule Warriors was definitely a spin-off though, and a great one at that, though that was more about the gameplay and "coolness factor" as Arlo puts it, and not as much about the story

@Snatcher There is a lot to note with this, of course Breath of the Wild looks better, first off, this is developed by Koei Tecmo, the fact that the game looks this faithful to the visual style of the first game is a really big feat, other than that, the game is not being made with the engine of Breath of the Wild, rather using the same engine used in the first Hyrule Warriors game. On top of that, have you seen all the action going on in the screen? It's absolutely crazy how many enemies there are, stuff happening all over. Honestly, the game looks great, considering what it is, and looks objectively better than the first Hyrule Warriors game, especially with the visual style.

Ah, yes, the Reggie days were the best, remember his first entry, guys? In E3, nobody had a clue of who he was, look at him now. Brilliant public speaker, very kind, very passionate and true. A great leader, a friend of ours, who will always live on as the face of Nintendo.

Re: Poll: What Did You Think Of The August 2020 Nintendo Indie World Showcase?

batata

@elpardo1984 This is more like doing them a service, if this came after a full fledged direct, no one, and I mean no one would've cared about anything shown here, because why bother talking about Indies while leaving out the big stuff? This is just you being salty because Nintendo didn't show off Breath of the Wild 2 news, boohoo
