Very tempted to pick up Runner 2. The only thing stoping me is that we don't have enough memory. I'll pick up Ittle Dew later for that same reason. I have some memory saved for the HW DLC though, so that, Pokemon and Smash will be my weekend.

@TeeJay There is only so many you can do before you run out of ideas.

Any word on a Europe release?

It's not often you see a western studio bring so much identity to a Nintendo franchise. I'd say it's quite... Rare.

I don't claim to know much about coding video games so this is just a guess; wouldn't a potential Wii U and PC version have some different lines of code and programing? So finding a bug in the PC version might not mean that the Wii U version has the same, and vice versa.

Also the bit about platfrom holders funding parts of games simply because they are exclusive.... I don't think that is true at alll. Platform holders might help advertising sure, and i'm not denyin that they may sometimes help with funding, but they won,'t give you money simply for being exclusive to their system.

I have Mario, Link and Pikachu pre-ordered and i'll pick up Shulk as soon as he becomes available. Might get Yoshi for christmas. I would love to have all of then in the long run but right now i'm focusing on these 4-5 and i'll pick up others depending on what they will be compatible with.

Shame it doesn't work on GC. Will probably buy it if it makes it here anyway.

Haven't they more or less said this already? They said that some games might require specific amiibos to do whatever there is they do and some games simlpy need any amiibo. Unles they make other games that does something similair like smash bros i really don't se a problem.

@Samurai_Goroh Which is why the game is only releasing i Japan, where they can make money of it. It's not like they are puting money and effort into a west-only arcade.

I met him in Sweden during the yearly Retro Gaming Fair. He was such a wonderful happy person! He talked about how gaming is so wonderful because it gives so much joy. He realy is the perfect voice for Mario.

Keep in mind evryone that this is something made by The Pokemon Company, not Nintendo. When it comes to stuff related to the TCG or anime they are a bit more open to where they can advertise them. Any of the games stays on Nintneod consoles. Also this is TCGO, which has been available on PC for three years, and there is no IAP in this, you get more cards by simply playing or using codes you get in booster packs. I believe Nintendo doesn't allow that method to aquie stuff in-game, that is why we might not se this on 3DS or Wii U. Similair things like this has been going on for years, no need to panik.

Kudos to them for not sharing the method.

It's pretty entertaining how these are the games these kids may be nostalgic for in the future and might be their first exposure do the franchises. That's going to feel weird. Although i guess most older people here already know that feeling.
