@TheExile285 I agree, fortunately they seem to have early access to the hardware as YS Proud Nordics is coming to Japan version on the console next month.

This is good news that Nis America are supporting the NS2, hopefully they will do a NS2 version of Trails beyond the horizon which is supposed to come out this autumn.

Reynatis and Trails into Reverie, Imo have best performance boosts, both games were fun on original but had frustrating load times plus bad FPS however on NS2 both games are really good.

@martynstuff that is true but those games probably require smaller teams, the main staff behind fire emblem have had at least 4 years of development time to make something and seeing as these games typically come out every 2-3 years we are overdue for something new, it is the series 35 anniversary this year

I reckon Switch 2 mouse controls would work really well with Fire Emblem, imagine moving units with a mouse it would be really smooth.

Engage was finished in 2021, what have Intelligent systems been working on?
With over 200 employees, I really hope there is a sequel to Three houses on switch 2.

Do you know if if Xenoblade X Definitive Edition will get a switch 2 edition as that game needs the performance boost.

@Ooccoo_Jr I'm in the same boat I rushed to get mine last week, they take money immediately which is done to counter scalping I think.

Have you guys been saving for this for years, because I already budgeted for this way back in 2024, it seems strange we're in the final stages of this now.

@UltimateOtaku91 thanks for letting me know, I already bought mine from argos last week, only issue is they take the money immediately, anyway they have an excellent refund policy if anything goes wrong.

I used to get my consoles from Game UK, but they aren't very good anymore through.

@Dm9982 if all Big three console manufacturers could get together and ask the US government, to make some consumer friendly laws that apply to video games, that would be really great.

@RubyCarbuncle, I thought I heard the US government recently looked into anti scalper laws for concert tickets, I wish they could also ban video game scalpers too.

I really really hope, there are JRPGs in the direct, Fire Emblem 18, Metaphor: ReFantazio and Zelda Ocarina of Time HD would be a dream team, also something from Monolith Soft would be welcome too.

Please let Fire Emblem 18, be in the direct, considering 17 was finished in 2021, the Devs have had well over 4-5 years to make a new entry.

New Fire Emblem game, not a remaster but a beautiful graphics, entry running on the new hardware.

I wish I could play this now, will The Game Collection UK, ship copies early, they gave me, The legend of heroes Trails Through Daybreak II on February 7 2025, a week earlier than release day.

Tales of Xillia & Xillia 2 for Switch 1 and Tales of Arise for Switch 2, I'm a Nintendo dedicated gamer so I pick any JRPGs for Switch, anything from Nihon Falcom, Monolith soft and Bandai, I buy; in fact I have all Nihon Falcom's catalogue on switch, I would look to pick up any Tales of, games that make the jump to Nintendo's JRPG console.

JRPGs are best at home on the Switch, portable JRPGs are a dream.

The first game was really good, I put 120 hours into it and really enjoyed it.

Best game ever made, it looks as if there are new characters too!
Hope it gets a sequel.

This game is cheaper on Nintendo eshop than anywhere else

So pleased Trails Through Daybreak is the 5th best game this year as that game was excellent.

@Zeebor15 that sounds really frustrating, I'm a gamer who prefers physical copies and I always prefer having the game arrive on launch day.

Having to wait an extra month when you know other people are already playing is real annoying.

@Zeebor15 is there something wrong with Limited Run games, I have bought a switch game published by Clear River and it was okay.

@Serpenterror that's okay, fingers crossed, Ys: Memories of Celceta, will come to Nintendo, I would guess either late 2025 or early 2026 western launch.

@Dimjimmer, it's confusing because the original reveal has the game running on the switch with Nintendo button controls but today's reveal is ps5, anyways I feel confident the game will run well on switch/switch2 as Falcom's switch games run well.

@Vyacheslav333 I know but surely couldn't Xseed games just use their English translation for Switch, weird thing is, Cold Steel 1&2 are published by NIS America on PS Vita, pal regions.

I wish so much Falcom would port all their games to Nintendo.

@Tyranexx, I really enjoyed the music and the story, also the characters were excellent too, the game is equally good as some triple A titles imo,
Falcom games are underrated, I only realised how good they are, when i tried Trails of Cold Steel III Nintendo switch in 2022.

Sincere condolences to Falcom for their loss and I hope they continue to support Nintendo with good games,

My 3 favourite Falcom games are Trails Daybreak, Ys VIII and Trails Azure.

RIP, Kato, Falcom is the best third party dev on switch, imo, really enjoyed all the trails and Ys games on switch.
He is in the credits of the latest entries, trails daybreak and Ys Nordics.

Please Nintendo reveal this thing, everyone else has either played it or seen it.

@Ironcore Nintendo are taking way to long to reveal the console, informed gamers have known about the console for years, I first heard of the rumours late 2022.

They should have unveiled it in October this year.

Sad times, everyone but Nintendo has revealed it.

@Shepdawg1 I was thinking, that with Xenogears, Nintendo should hire Square Enix to make a Remaster in similar graphics as Star Ocean - The Second Story R, with newly remastered music too.

I would be happy with raw ports of the Xenosaga trilogy, as those games still look visually impressive.

Another thing I thought was fascinating, is the fact that Tetsuya Takahashi, has been developing games for over 35 years, he started on Ys series in 1989.

Good news imo, this means Xenoblade is 100% owned by Nintendo, best developers in gaming in my opinion, this does mean through that any Xenogears remake or Xenosaga would have to be consulted by Nintendo first tho.

@Anachronism, hopefully Sawano will return, if he does, the game will get a boost in sales due to his popularity.

Yasunori Mitsuda, is talented enough to handle XCX and if required, XCX II.
He composed all the other Xeno games, Gears, Saga and the Klaus saga.
Mitsuda knows how to make an OST with Sci-fi themes.
