There is so much junk on the eshop and I really think Nintendo should have better policies for games on there, for example limit the games to only registered publishers and registered indie devs,

Fortunes weave should atleast win something, as the voice talent is one of the best performances from a cast of voice actors I have seen in a long time.

Tried the demo not getting the game due to the fact its too violent for me, this is a true adult game

I find it peculiar that trails is rated pegi 18 due to gambling but when I tried this the content is way more adult focused.

I really want to play this but I'm currently busy playing fortunes weave

The 1st chapter took me 80 hours to do everything on the hardest difficulty

Looking forward to this, also worth mentioning metaphor is only £34 pounds in the uk which is incredible value considering the quality of the game, as the og version got a 94 metacritic score,

The demo is better looking than persona 3 reload demo last autumn

@Doctor-Moo kirby fans will have plenty to play next year as there is a new kirby game as well in addition to this new atelier game

Are the atelier games fun because I'm fascinated in this game,

I voted for the 1st and 2nd costumes when the vote was open, I can't remember if I voted for chubby karia, anyway kirby fans will probably enjoy this

I believe its worth every penny, orchel and ninae are my two favourite characters in the game in fact I just bought the dlc as fortunes weave is my 2nd favourite video game ever after three houses,

Also seteth and more characters will probably have more voice acting

Anyway this is the first time platinum games have mentioned the switch 2 and hopefully shift up will share their expertise because stellar blade looks to be great based on the demo

Tokyo mirage sessions was a good game i spent over 40 hours on it and anyone who enjoys atlus games should give it a go, it was more similar to persona 5 than fire emblem, I would love to see a ns2 edition or even a sequel with more recent persona or fire emblem characters,

Atlus games have gotten a lot better since 2016 so I hope they develop a sequel

This must be the first time a mainline Trails game on the switch 1/2 has beaten the ps5 or playstation version at launch in japan, trails was exclusive to playstation up till fairly recently

These are very promising signs that my two favourite series are selling well in japan on switch 2, hope they get more popular in the uk

I'm about 35 hours into cai's route,

I plan to play over 200 hours on this maxing out supports and doing all sidequests also talking to all npcs,

It great so far and with big games like this its better to play about 2-3 hours a day and enjoy it over time rather than rush through it

10/10 game for me absolutely amazing game,

The characters are the most beautiful the series has ever seen before, the story is well written and the different cultures in the game's world are vibrant and amazing,

Also the music is excellent too, I personally think it sounds similar to the music of nihon falcom games,

I would put this game in my top 3 of all time favourite video games,

This is good news because one of my minor criticisms of trails sky 1st chapter is that the country Liberl is pronounced differently in the voice acting, than the other games in the trails series such as the cold steel or daybreak arcs, for example it could be confusing playing 1st chapter and then playing daybreak 1 on switch because the gungho translation pronounced some terms differently in 1st chapter than the mainline series, glad its been fixed now.

Found out on behind the voice actors, that Dietrich has the same voice actor as Joker from Persona 5

Intrusting preview, I saw that ign said that Eshmel can interact with characters as a bird in the pale raven perch similar to tea party mode in three houses and can answer questions in bird form,

Is there any confirmation of S supports in the game yet, that is one key unanswered question so far.

The persona and splatoon mangas have English localisation so why can't fire emblems manga

picking up raiders soon and having enjoyed the series since 2015, really looking forward to what the devs do next, I personally would love to see adult inkling and octolings playable in the next game, also it would be awesome if Nintendo could make the next game similar in gameplay to the first splatoon because that was my favourite entry in the series.

@Mgalens I was really intrusted in star ocean second story r for switch 1 a couple of years ago but I passed on picking it up because there is only 2 star ocean games on switch 1 and the rest of the series are scattered over different platforms,

With jrpg games, I like to buy them on the switch if I can collect many different entries in the series on the switch.

I would love a port of divine force to switch 2 as well.

I noticed that if you google translate the famitsu article it lists the following features:

Whether these features will make spending £45 for this game worth it remains to be seen, however I would love to see other star ocean games getting ported to switch 2.

Currently I'm hoping p4 revival gets announced in the September Nintendo direct, the game should easily run on switch 2,

I watched episode 2 of the persona 4 anime yesterday on aniplex usa YouTube and its great enjoyed every minute of the 25 minute programme.

I actually think Nintendo's switch 2 approach is good:

For example, trails in the sky 2nd chapter and the new fire emblem are fully on cartridge.

there is an option for devs to choose either gkc or physical on the same platform really hoping Nintendo always lets devs have both as an option.

@Notsoavid agreed, as i don't have any friends to play the game with, really hoping it will have online matchmaking similar to the mainline series with random players, if it does, then I will really want to play this.

Hopefully splatoon 4 will get a teaser as well as showcasing the online modes of raiders, hope its random matchmaking like the mainline series.

Square should port all the final fantasy games to the switch 1/2.
for remakes I would love 6 to get a fully fleshed out remake, after they have finished with 7.

Day 1 pickup for me hopefully this means atlus will support the switch 2 with the new persona games as well.

Really looking forward to this, rpg site says the game is better on switch 2 than ps4 pro, in loading times, in my opinion this should have been an 8/10 or 9/10 considering how long Nintendo fans have had to wait for this game:

@datamonkey thats awesome glad you found a first party game that is really fun,
I personally feel it would be fair for Nintendo to increase the price of the switch 2 if there is atleast a new zelda or Mario game because those games usually get the highest metacritic scores.

@AlonditeFE there hasn't unfortunately, I still think the console itself is amazing and one of Nintendo's best due to backwards compatibility and table top mode, however the console really needs new first party games such as splatoon 4, zelda, mario, xenoblade, fire emblem and platinum games franchises such as astral chain and bayonetta, for the console to ship 100 million units, especially considering most people buy Nintendo consoles for the exclusives.

@datamonkey, I have played Mario games such as sunshine, galaxy and so on but I have never really enjoyed donkey kong games to the extent of Mario games,
Also I really enjoy zelda games such as twilight princess, ocarina of time and breath of the wild but the switch 2 is lacking both these massive franchises that make Nintendo consoles great,
Also its hard to say the first party library is as good as the switch 1 in its first year 2017-18, it had splatoon 2, breath of the wild and xenoblade 2, however the third party library has been significantly better on the switch 2.

This is disappointing but hopefully it will make Nintendo make more effort in curating a better first party software library,
A year in and I haven't bought a single first party Nintendo game on the switch 2 other than Mario kart, the best games I would recommend on the system are third party ones such as trails in the sky 1st chapter, persona 3, tales of arise and ys x proud nordics,

We are still missing out on a new fire emblem, zelda, 3d Mario and xenoblade games and also splatoon 4.

Awesome these games are real gems

Fire emblem fates is my second favourite Fire emblem after three houses and i wish it could be ported to switch 1 or 2 for more players to experience, its worth 100s of hours of gameplay doing all the supports and harder difficulties.

Also Azura is my favourite Fire emblem character too,
