I've always been against DLC in games when it has been revealed prior to the release of the game, but in a fighting game, it makes more sense.

@Obito_Tennyson the reason you need headphones for 3DS sound and theatrythm etc. Is because the 3ds speakers are on the inside of the lid, so the music would be inaudible / terrible quality once the 3DS was closed.

@yuwarite YT on mobile uses 3G if you are outside and why would you use YT as an example? You can't continue to listen to the music once you tab out of it or if you lock your phone. Grooveshark is a much better service for music.

Im sticking with my PC and my WiiU, the PC for all the multiplatforms, indies, modding and the massive power increase (seeing as the ps4 and the xbone are already behind CPU's and graphics cards available 4 years ago). Exclusives are a necessity for the big 3, but that doesn't mean I don't feel sad when I see I can't play sunset overdrive or... (what other good exclusives are coming to the ps4 and the xbone this year xD)

I will pick up the ps4/xbone when the next wave of consoles eventually comes out and the old ones become dirt cheap. Until then my PC and WiiU are more than enough.

SM3DW does not deserve that amount of votes IMO. I voted for yoshi's island because the game has perfect controls, interesting game play and it is fully of innovation and charm, my second choice would be galaxy.

@micronean i don't think, late 2015 is a stretch, they have been working on it since DKCTF (February) so they should have done plenty of work since then. Plus, i'm sure they were preparing for another game when DKCTF was being mad.

@FragRed apart from the fact that XBone has more exclusives than PS4? I don't understand why people hate on the XBone, sure it isn't as powerful as the ps4 but it has better exclusives atm. What can you play on the ps4 apart from second son?

And before anyone claims I'm a fan boy, I don't own either next gen console, I use a pc and my WiiU.

The game won't look anywhere near that good on WiiU, or even XBone and PS4, these screens hots are taken with a sexy pc most likely.

I do genuinely prefer the c-stick nub on the GC controller for smash. I will probably buy the adaptor.

@Hy8ogen they were a club nintendo reward I think. They cost like 8000 stars of something. I like my moga pro too much to buy this. The moga pro feels better in my hands than a standard 360 pad. This is also why I don't use virtual console, emulators are actually more convenient. Playing through conkers bad fur day on my phone took up a lot more of my attention than fire emblem awakening did when I had just bought it.

EDIT: if nintendo added gamecube games to VC though (namely ssbm and fzero) then id be up for that.

@Grumblevolcano I played DKCTF, WWHD and a 3ds game I cabt remember... I remember the demo i actually the most was tearaway.

@antdickens I think it was EGX 2012 I was thinking of, I remember playing pikmin3 was a pain. In 2011 it was even worse, skyward sword did not even work because there wasn't enough space between the sensor bar and the wiimote. Its all part of the atmosphere though

@KoiTenchi I even re-read the article and still i do not see how my comment is invalid. Nintendo can not shut them down because (if you read the article) you can see that they have used none of the original games assets, so how can you claim Nintendo can shut them down for using Nintendo's assets. If i were to make FPS game, and i created a scale replica of the 'Lockout' (originally from Halo2) map inside of the game, then Bungie/Microsoft can't shut my game down, the form of that map doesn't belong to Microsoft. And you claim the devs are 'unprofessional as humanly possible'. Sorry what? sure these guys crashes on Nintendo but i'm sure that it didn't affect Nintendo in any way or form. And if you wish to rebut my point, then at least think of a better point than just accusing me of not reading the article because that is 'oblivious and unprofessional'.

Did NL see Nintendo at EGX 2013? It was really badly cramped, like worse than any other section. I remember they had a thing where if you played a 3ds and a wiiU game then you would get a randon gift. I got a pikmin plushie

It means that their personal lives will not affect the budget of the game. A kickstarter can also measure interest in a potential game, to show whether it is worth making.

@DefHalan Yeah, but the games that come out on a humble bundle are generally at least a year old. I still wont buy indies on consoles just because i have a PC and steam so i don't see the need.

@Gerbwmu The Wii Mini actually seems like a great idea, maybe they could mix it up a bit and add a dedicated memory card that you could take to IQue stations and download Wii games. It would allow Nintendo to become more of a brand in China if they stick to the IQue stations.

@FullbringIchigo they are officially licensed so i'm sure the quality will be on par with nintendo. At least, if you look at the N64 official controller compared with the Hori Mini N64 controller the Hori is a lot more functional and they last a lot longer.

I, like many other people, wish that this were just a reshaped pro controller rather than a classic controller. Gonna wait for reviews on this pad before i decide to buy some of these, or the adapter and some 2nd hand GameCube controllers

Can I just say that this game is brilliant. If you missed out on the pc version that grab this as soon as it comes out. The story is great, chilling and atmospheric and the puzzles are inventive too.

I have a feeling if this came out on PC/new gen consoles everyone would dismiss it. People only pay any attention because it is an exclusive, although it is shaping up to be better. Hopefully the reviews deliver good news.

@Kaze_Memaryu how is hyrule warriors 'slowly becoming a questionable title'? It's always looked exactly like dynasty warriors and never bared much resemblance to past zelda games, so if people were hoping for it to be like a zelda game thats their fault. All you had to do was watch the reveal video and compare it to footage of dynasty warriors 8

A good comparison with this is Steam. Steam's QA (quality assurance) is non-existent because Steam have opened the flood gates and allowed anyone who has a kind of publisher to put their game on Steam. This means that in the "most recent" section there are usually just a bunch of shovel ware and good games don't get the coverage they need.

Nintendo meanwhile have a lot less games to QA than Steam, Xbox-Live or PSN, and both XBL and PSN have really good QA. I certainly think the level of QA Nintendo have now is better than with WiiWare. Either way, we as consumers should not buy content without reading a review or watching a gameplay video.

people have been modding their CPP like this since monster hunter 3's release in Japan. Its awesome to see this, the grips also look like they'll improve the comfortability of the 3DS, which normally digs into my hands.
