Only thing i can imagine is, that the small Switch version is aimed at the mobile phone game market.
Maybe mainly intended for the chinese market.

Mobile games are huge there and Nintendo apparently develops more and more games for smart phones.
That would also fit with rumors, i read about, that Nintendo actually plans to release their own gaming smartphone in asia.

Will be interesting to see what the Pro version will look like.

It works really well on steam. I bought a little USB Bluetooth dongle thingy for it and can play wireless without any problems. Sometimes you have to reassign a button or two, but no major issues so far.

So no surprise for me, that it is a popular controller.

Can imagine what kind of illness it most likely is.

As a general rule i think that, if you pay for it, it is not free.

I didn't buy it immediately, because of the hot weather and the other games that came out . Like crash and sonic. But plan to get it.
A quick check shows that it is not so easy to get online in Germany.

One online store gives 20th of august as restock date. So seems that the physical version sold pretty well here.

It actually really improved the motion controls in some games.

Hach 60€... For 40€ i would have picked it up right away.

Mostly play Lost Sphear at the moment. But also a few rounds of Mario Kart don't hurt once in a while.

This edition looks really nice. Always like it, when they include maps in their special editions.

Well if you send someone money for nothing but a promise, that they will send you something back, chances are that the person will just take your money and you will never hear from them again.
Never really understood the point of these business models.
Maybe if you are dealing with someone, who is highly trustworthy. But with random people? meh.

As a toy for little children it could really work though.
Only gripe is, that it seems a bit expensive for a toy made out of cardboard.
How long will the robot last for example, if you hand it to your kids ?
80$ is maybe a bit much, if you have to replace it all the time.

edit: Just read that Nintendo allows you to make your own replacements for the cardboard parts.
That makes it a bit more reasonable i think.

After thinking about it, my money is actually on some kind of mobile app or mobile game stuff.

Mario Tennis looks interesting to me. Was waiting for a good Tennis game on the Switch. Console seems to be perfect for this.

I fight the problem of too many games by busing only/(mostly) physical releases. Want to avoid to have many games that i never play.

This really is an exeptional game. Wish they would release some kind of physical collectors edition in the EU (hint hint)

2022 is far away sure, but 130 million i think is too optimistic.
But they would certainly outperform expactations with those kinds of numbers.

Well the game has managed to achieve a mostly negative rating on steam.
Seems to be a pure cashgrab, that forces you to use microtranscations, if you want to get anywhere in mycareer mode.
So it doesn't seem suprising that 2k cheaped out when it comes to the gamecards.

Also downloaded the Octopath demo. Looks like a very interesting game.
Funny that the Nintendo Direct said, that the name is still work in progress, but they already have a demo out.

Imported this from Japan. Hope to play this before Lost Spheres releases hopefully as physical release in Europe.

@speedracer216 It is a bit more of a complex game. Certainly no Harvest Moon. On PC many actual farmers play these games, so in a way it really is a simulator.
You can't really underestimate kids though. Maybe something more realistic is exactly what she wants.
Still maybe hard to recommend for an 8 year old.

It was released on all kinds of Systems over the years/decades, so why not a switch version.
Wonder how expensive the retail version will be.

Really disappointing. If they cant sell the box just with a download code in it, a tiny cardridge with additional downloads is the next cheapest and step.

For sure frustrating game though. Lots of random chance involved always, but has also strong puzzle elements.

@mateq I know Disgea can be a bit overwhelming, but until you finished the main story, you don't need to care about all the side stuff you can do.
I would just stick to the main story chars until the endboss of the normal game.

I can understand, that Nintendo don't want to break their word for no reason.
I mean they stood in front of the american congress and said that they will never release the game on a nintendo console.
Maybe it is not that big of an issue today.
But why break a promise for no real reason?
