Although my harsh complaining (#256) I do understand your point. But I would like to know how many of these unknown games you actually like. There are sooooo many new games releasing nowadays, and sooooo many good classics available (hardly any of which Nintendo is officially re-releasing), personally I'm not willing to waste my time on the off chance of finding a somewhat enjoyable but highly forgettable game.

I don't play online games so I have NSO just for cloud saving. With the disappearance of the Virtual Console (with games for which I PAID!!!) can I please get some GOOD retro games on the Switch?!?!? Come on Nintendo....you are totally BS-ing us!!!!!

I have a list of about 30 NES and SNES games I want on the Switch. Not even mentioning N64 and GC games.... It's like Nintendo is begging us to pirate retro games.

Same here. I only game on my LG C9. The static elements of the games I play should have been burned in by now, but that's not the case. Current OLED tv's have all the necessary technology to help prevent this issue.

More and more 3rd party games are sub par when it comes to resolution and frame rate. The Switch needs a beefier SoC and more RAM !! But with current sales figures, I doubt that Nintendo is considering a "Switch Pro" any time soon.

The original dock is way overpriced so this new one will probably be too. If current Switch owners want an ethernet connection, a USB dongle is far less expensive then buying a new dock. This new model does look nice though.

BotW, the game that keeps on glitching...I mean giving. Even 5 years later.

When SS released on the Wii, I was put off by the motion controls and I put it down. A few years later when I told myself to power on through I absolutely fell in love with the story, it's characters and soundtrack. Yes, there are dull and frustrating elements but overall this game is so charming!

I can't wait to play SS again with the QoL improvements I wonder if the classic controls will be any good. I might even revert back to the motion controls...

Working working working working working, I've set my PS5 up and transferred data from my PS4, working working working working.

Plenty of other stuff to do this weekend, but I can squeeze in some time to do a couple of stages in Thomas Was Alone. Fun little game.

Of course these are promotional images and they always look good, but I can't shake the feeling the graphics in these images are a bit too detailed to run on the current Switch. Switch Pro screens maybe?

Looking forward to this one! I'm a sucker for these types of pretty looking laid back adventure games.

Also, I'm not into multiplayer but if the co-op is about same as in Journey, then I'm all in!

With Mario Kart 8 Deluxe STILL selling that well. Why on earth would Nintendo release a successor any time soon?

There's nothing "pro" about a console so that name is a bit weird (same for PS4 Pro). "Super" is nice, but the SNES era is long gone. I think "New" best describes the next iteration of the Switch. Like they did with the 3DS.

This game never seizes to amaze me and players like this guy even more so.

I played Skyward Sword on my Wii U. Not once did I feel the urgency to look for the nearest bird statue in order to return to Skyloft. It's a really nice looking Amiibo, for those who collect them, but as far as functionality goes, I think it's a bit of a lazy move by Nintendo.

Minish Cap is such an awesome Zelda game. I still listen to the soundtrack from time to times. Good memories.

Finishing Bowser's Fury and I might start AC: Vallhalla's first expansion Wrath of the Druids.

Reports like these make me a bit pessimistic about the availability of the "Switch Pro" whenever it launches. It will probably go the way the PS5 and Xbox Series X launches. Not enough supply and scalpers snagging up every unit the second they are being listed online.

Their "enhanced wireless" controller should be enough for most avid FPS players. Too bad that they lack in updates for their firmware. Gamers (me included) are suggesting improvements but they do nothing. Responses in the line of; " Good suggestion. We'll pass it on to our development team".

I agree. It's a name for a dog. But the game looks fun though.

I'm really looking forward to this game! The use of blur around the edges is pretty noticeable though. I hope that the presumed extra performance of the "Switch Pro" can do away with it.

AC: Valhalla

Finishing the main quest and mopping up side quests. Not going for trophies.

Working 12 hour this weekend and Monday. Trying to advance the story in Life is Strange 2 but I'm just too tired. Off to bed...

So many people are clamoring for MK9 but I don't see why Nintendo would do that on the current Switch. No console generation has ever gotten two MK games. They should have just introduced more DLC for MK8 imo.

I'm stuck on a bug in a pledge quest in AC Valhalla! Apparently there's away around it but I got annoyed and stopped playing. Maybe it will be patched before the first DLC expansion comes out next month.

Bought Fez, again, and am playing that right now. Good ol' times chillin' Too bad the rumored sequel won't be happening.

Was hoping for release dates for Baldo and especially Eastward, but not a bad presentation.

The upcoming 8bitdo Pro2 controller allows for FULL customizability throught their Android app. Can't beat that. Certainly not for half the price. Even with two extra paddles.

The headphone jack is a nice touch though.

Nice game, for 10 Euros or less I'm willing to double dip.

Cannot recommend Streets of Rage 4 enough. I love playing this game with my teen daughter. Looking forward to the DLC.

Just Wave Race. I've such fond memories of the N64 version. The wave physics were awesome for the time. The sound, music and stage design was so iconic.

Been working all day long. I'll probably raid a couple of Bokoblin and Lizalfos camps tomorrow morning. After that, back to work.

Don't care about the price! Give me a Nintendo 4K console, or at least one that DLSS upscales to it. Get with the times Nintendo!

Just makes me want Nintendo games in 4K even more. Especially Zelda!!!

Pokémon is not my jam, but Niantic has earned their reputation with these games. But since they've only ever done Pokémon, I don't know of what they're capable of and If I would trust them with another big Nintendo franchise.

A franchise that I would like to see revived is Wave Race. Not happening, I know...

My daughters played/danced Just Dance nearly the entirety of Saturday. I got to finish Hyper Light Drifter today and I started Owl Boy.

RPGs involve character development and/or specialization through player choices and branching narratives. The Zelda series has none of that. Action/adventure it is.

Beautiful game, but hard as nails. Precision timing is needed but my reflexes aren't what they used to be. My persistence hasn't diminished though

4K output would require a new SOC and more memory. This would be the info that I'm most interested in.

Here's hoping for a custom Tegra X2 or Xavier SOC with DLSS 2.0 support and 8GB of LPDDR4X

We've seen sword movement now, but what about the rest of the moves set? I would like to see small demos. Like how the flying beetle controls, how bombs are tossed and rolled, how accurate the slingshot and whip are, etc.
