I don’t like their mobile apps. Such a predatory and disingenuous market. Stick with what you’re actually good at, Nintendo- making quality games and music.

@anoyonmus dive into the GBA games first and immerse yourself in that gorgeous gothic pixelated world for a bit. SoTN is a great game but a touch antiquated in terms of exploration and backtracking. (It’s a great Metroidvania for sure but it’ll take a bit of getting used to…) enjoy yourself!

Yes please but make it in the traditional side-scrolling style. I liked the 3D adventures here and there but you can’t beat the Iga-Vania series on GBA/DS. Also the chiptune soundtracks coupled with the pixelated graphics were pure aural and visual bliss for the eyes and ears.

What really I love most about Nintendo is their sublime use of music. I can’t play musical instruments in person but their little jingles, rhythm laden gameplay mechanics and sublime soundtracks have been part of my life since I was just a wee lad. Pure aural bliss, all the way through the years!

It’s a great game! Richly deserved.

An Astral Chain sequel would be terrific. My best friend got me into it and I’ve been playing it often! Great game indeed.

Collections like these really illustrate how far we’ve come in terms of gaming and electronic animation. Quite humbling to witness, really.
