Just how many MetroidVanias do we really need? As much as I love the genre and there are some really killer titles, I genuinely think there are far too many lately.

I couldn’t help but think of the Resident Evil 4 Beta when I watched this trailer. (Killer dolls, ghostly shadow hunter aesthetic, etc)

Looks great though. Will keep my eyes on this one.

Maybe crime is so low in the kingdom, they haven’t put much thought in their incarceration system? Especially noticeable with the bit in the beginning of Echoes with the King’s doppelgänger. Having him wanting to put Zelda to death, you can see the guards and royal staff being visibly upset with this order.

I’m glad I held off from getting this on the PS5. I just hope the Switch port is the best port! This looks and sounds like a great way to start the spooky season with.
