Re: "Stay Tuned" For Next Mainline Mario, Says Nintendo's Bowser

UnbreakableAlex

@Willo567 You can always buy Sony or Microsoft stuff on sale. Nintendo charges 100€ for a 15 year old Wii U Zelda.

I swear, If I one day buy the Switch 2, I will only buy used AAA Nintendo games and all the other games I will buy for my other systems so Nintendo doesn't get any tiny bit of extra money from me.

Re: Some Fans Are Drawing Unfavourable Comparisons Between Switch 2 And Xbox One

UnbreakableAlex

Nintendo frogged up the Switch 2 launch by breaking the number one rule for every successful console launch: giving the gamers an overall positive experience.

Now even the biggest die hard Nintendo fans turned their back on Nintendo for their chaos and greed.

I don’t think Nintendo (and their live chat) will ever recover for this (shout out to my DROP THE PRICE gang!)

This is Nintendos Xbox One/ PS3 moment.

Re: Octopath Traveler's Switch Exclusivity Might Be Coming To An End

UnbreakableAlex

@earthinheritor I’m not a pro at tbs but if you used the given tactics, fights were pretty easy. I didn’t have to grind almost the whole game. I started with the teacher guy. And went clockwise in the map. Maybe it would have been much more difficult if I would have started with the beast summoner. I didn’t notice any scaling of enemies.

Re: MUSYNX Finally Brings Its Rhythm-Action To Europe, 28 New Songs To Be Added

UnbreakableAlex

Avid rhythm gamer here. While I enjoy Taiko no Tatsujin with Controller on PS4 and touchscreen on switch, I have Input lag issues with switch controllers. Also Superbeat Xonic feels great with controllers on PS4 but sucks on Switch.

Is this game any different oder does it suffer the same issues? Input lag, no matter if docked or Portable are game breaking for me and i don’t buy any rhythm games for switch.

Could anyone already try it out?

Re: Talking Point: Capcom’s Resident Evil Switch Pricing Is Nothing New

UnbreakableAlex

Don’t you guys have Playstations?
You can get like 3 Resident evil games for 15€ during a sale. Same goes for many other multi platform games.
For switch I’m only buying exclusives, since I can’t convince myself to pay the switch tax.

Why even wait to buy one RE game for 20€ during sale, when you can get triple game collection for 15?

Re: Daemon X Machina Demo Is Now Live On Switch eShop

UnbreakableAlex

This is the worst game I’ve ever played on Switch. Below 30 Frames in a super fast action game? Did the devs even play their own game? Everything abou this games sucks.

The music? Sucks for me (but ok, that’s taste based)
The color palette? Hurting my eyes.
The controls? Just tried it with dual joycons and it sucks. Why no gyro controls? It’s 2019, goddamnit.
The dialogues? Can’t barely hear them and what I could hear was garbage. All filler, no killer.

Why did they even hype this game? I feel it’s pointless. And I can play almost everything, from old school klick & point adventures, to music games, shooters, jump n runs, action adventure, 2D pixelated indie games.

Better cancel this game and do something different.

Re: Video: Sakurai Declined Offer To Work On Oculus VR Games Because Of The Small Audience

UnbreakableAlex

VR is definitely the future. Games are so much more immersive and it opens up the gate for new genre. Ace Combat style or racing games feel so real. VR adds another dimension to games. I can’t wait until Nintendo is finally doing triple A games in VR.

If you think about it, Nintendo is already preparing for VR:
.) Modular console design with separated display, that you could slide in a VR helmet in future iterations: check!
.) two controllers with motion detection, one for each hand: check!
.) a slower type of shooter to avoid motion sickness: splatoon: check!
.) creating immersive open 3D Worlds with lots of Love for the Detail: Mario Odyssee & BOTW: check
.) had products with 3D buildt in: Virtual Boy & 3DS: check!

I bet Switch 2 will get a better 3DS effect and Switch 3 (like in 10-15 years) will be totally VR ready with a detachable 4K Display to play Mario Kart & so on in VR.

Maybe Nintendo ditches the stereoscopic effect for the Switch 2 and will go directly to VR. 5 Years from now on we will have 8K displays as small as in Smartphones.

Re: Wargroove Will Receive Regular Updates, Free Content And DLC

UnbreakableAlex

I like this game. Voice acting reminds me of octopath.

Is it me or are the side missions way harder than the story missions? Caesar is cute but his missions are pretty hard (but doable after some attempts).

Just 4 things I would like changed:
.) The cursor moves invisibly during battle animations if you keep pushing the dpad or stick and after the sequence your screen is moved.
.) when a unit close at the border is attacked by the enemy you just See the Enemy and not your Unit.
.) movement of the curser should be clicking instead of silent (with turn on/off switch)
.) there should be a third zoom option for handheld mode. No zoom is too small and in zoom mode everything is too big.

Bonus: the Menus for user generated content is not very intuitive. There should be an extra button for it.

Re: Hands On: Hacking Into The Cyberpunk World of Observer On Switch

UnbreakableAlex

@Snakesglowcaps
I played the PS4 Pro Version and didn’t notice any framedrops or other problems. I’m not very far in the game but it has some nice elements and lucid dreamlike/ hallucinating scenes that puts max Payne to shame xD. I also bought it for less then 10 bucks on PS4 sale because I like Rutger Hauer and the cyberpunk genre. I don’t like the scanning parts though.
