Much thanks! I need a 3DS case for my travels. I only have a three set that only carries nine in total! I also hope that our purchases will convince them to add more physical rewards.
Super Mario Strikers is absolutely my favorite Mario sports game aside from the Tennis series (just because I feel the Tennis games are actually very refined). That being said, to see the already violent aspects of the Strikers game taken to a new level would have been amazing but I do understand the point of it being too "realistically" violent though, especially for Mario.
I was always kinda afraid of that outcome. For the consoles, I usually always have a specific worn out Smash GCN controller (Video Game Collector here, so I don't have to use my nicer controllers)
In all honesty, I think the reason why it breaks off is because of Smash Attacks. On the GCN controller, you have the C-stick that alleviates you from having to quickly tap the analog and A button. I know it's hard to imagine but think about how easy it is to pull off Smash Attacks in Melee and Brawl with the C-stick. Now think of that but using the Circle Pad. That's more pressure than the Circe Pad could probably take after logging a lot of game time. The D-Pad is probably the best way to play Smash on 3DS.
I see WayForward and my eyes light but then of course it's backed by Activision haha. I've seen WayForward take Thor on DS and made it decent. All I can ask is the same for this game.
All I want is a decent Turtles game that isn't from the 90's. (Though I can argue some of the 2003era games as ok)
Hm, the Kirby patch is on sale. I have 1500+ coins lmao. Might as well! I always have enough games in the back if I need more coins. Ordered! Thanks for the update NL haha.
I didn't even hear of this rumor, so I guess I'm not too disappointed. But still, I had nothing short of praise for the Nintendo DS because of how accessible importing was. They're a couple games I'd love to have from other regions and I wish I didn't have to shell out for a new console just to experience those games. (Then again, I'm tempted to buy the Vita based on 3 and only 3 games alone haha).
At the end of the day all we want to do is play more video games lol. I don't see why it's so necessary to give us a huge hurdle.
Will probably get one! Xenoblade Chronicles is a game I would definitely love to have handheld.
As long as it doesn't absolutely disrupt the amount of "normal" 3DS games we're getting, I'm down. I'm also hoping that some games will still come out for the normal 3DS' but have special features unlocked through the New 3DS. I mean, that's a little shady I guess but I wouldn't mind.
From personal experience. DLC has been more of a negative than positive impact on gaming in general but imo, this is how DLC should be done. A lot of content for a reasonable price. I don't mind essentially paying half of a full game to get an extra 50% added on to a game. And considering this is only 12$ for 16 courses?? That's a crazy deal and I think if Nintendo sticks to this kind of DLC practice, I'm sure more people will warm up to the idea.
Makes sense from a fighting game perspective to release it to arcade markets first. Balancing, testing, feedback, etc.
I'm pretty sure this will come on Wii U. Just not soon since Smash Bros. is still on the horizon and I'm sure Nintendo doesn't wanna deter anyone from it. Only question for me now is, should I get the Tekken arcade stick or hope this one will have it's own special edition haha.
Hmm. While I can't complain about a free reward. I was really hoping for the SM3DW soundtrack. As that really took my fancy!
However, I'll still gladly take this as well. Just not sure what to get. I love having the physical games but none of the digital only games are worth the Platinum status imo. but I guess it's either between Earthbound or DKR
They definitely blow away what I was originally thinking of. I originally believed Mii's might've just been usable to emulate other characters (e.g. your mii would have Mario's moveset if you chose). I like the original way they're going about it, but it is true that if it were possible I'd rather have 3 Nintendo characters.
But still! I'm excited to see which playstyle is best suited for mii (all pun intended).
It made me hopeful for the Wii U's future! So many great games either being revealed or being shown off. Seriously, I didn't get anywhere near as excited with Sony's or Microsoft's events. Maybe it's just bias or wanting to see the underdog win but Nintendo took it in my book.
Super Mario 3D World is what made me realize how amazing the Wii U was and made the purchase well worth it. Mario Kart 8 is just an added bonus at that point, making me excited for the next "64-esque" Mario Wii U game.
While it may not be good for Nintendo, I love the amount of games because the majority of them are all high quality titles in their own right.
Yessss, I so hope this becomes big. While I don't classify Skylanders or Disney Infinity as triple-a amazing titles, they're fun and really are a great "family" game. If Ninty is really at the helm for this type of game, I can only expect great things and an even lighter wallet.
Just from me being a collector and having that standpoint, I really hope these don't come to stateside. But it's cool that they're producing more rereleases nonetheless!
I remember in one particular instance in the Great Cave Offensive where you have to take your fire ability but then turn it into a helper in order to burn something underwater. It took me quite a bit to figure that out.
Super Star Ultra was a game I 105% (or 110?) it offered so much content on the DS and remains one of my favorite DS games. Kirby games are amazing and pretty easy platformers (imo at least) but I guess that's Nintendo's magic. Every platformer they have always feels so unique from each other.
I find it strange that they attempt to make DLC for games like this and not games like Super Mario 3D World, Mario Kart 7, or DKC:TF. I guess it makes sense because they're trying their hand in "Season Pass"-style DLC on a game that's not the most anticipated.
I usually like how Nintendo does their DLC so I won't bother to form an opinion until the game is released and then we'll see if the extra courses and characters were really worth the price point.
I like the idea of Project M and also applaud the time it took for these guys to create something awesome that caters to that particular crowd. I also love the extra effort they did into reinserting old characters and adding new costumes!
But, in all honesty, I feel like Project M is the community saying they can make a better game than Sakurai did. I especially hate how people rag on Brawl for not being Melee enough and point to Project M like it's the savior of the Smash series. While I have no qualms of Project M's existence, I do just find the hate for the source material unnecessary.
With that being said, I've only been in a couple local Melee and Brawl tourneys. I enjoy Capcom/SNK/Namco fighting games a bit more when it comes to the competitive scene! So you can take anything I say with a grain of salt xD
Hm, I should stop by Best Buy sometime to see if they still have any. It was 14.99 in my local BB but doesn't seem like it's even in the system anymore.
I just played through this twice myself. This left a much better impact on me than Yoshi's Island. I love the sorta constricted free roam aspect and getting the lil extras here and there. Also graphically speaking, it's pretty beautiful. I was astounded when booting it up for the first time (I did not look at any images or videos prior!).
While I already genuinely liked Sonic Lost World, I think I now love it even more!
I remember when I was still in High School I did a report on the 3DS for my 2nd Yr Science class. The report was that you had to do research on up and coming technology and I picked this no-glasses 3D system haha. Wow, I can't believe it's been 3 years.
Shout outs to all the haters who said the 3DS was a failure ^-^ lol
Iga's Castlevania games are definitely some of my favorite. Metroidvania style games are some of my favorite, sad to see him leave :c but hope he starts making more games with his own dev team!
I have the Megaman Anniversary for Gamecube but gosh dang, MMX Collection is so expensive. I'd love to see a new Collection definitely, maybe combining the two into one retail disc with even more extras? I'm not a fan of digital downloads so if I can have the choice, I'd love a physical edition.
I'd upgrade my pre-order in a heartbeat if this game to NA. Haha, but honestly, it's nice to see Nintendo making some special editions since Ninty doesn't make that a habit (unlike the rest of the gaming industry).
Ah I'm alright with that. I have Arkham Origins for the Wii U (and hopefully will get Arkham City, a game I adored on the Xbox). But I'm not too surprised they're deciding to go with the PS4 and Xbox One, two obviously superior consoles.
It's not big deal to me! Might finally give me a reason to get either consoles.
Tbh I hate Waluigi lol. Well maybe not hate but I really see little point to him other than being Wario's Luigi (not even sure of Wario and Waluigi are related). Waluigi doesn't appear in any main Mario related games (I think?). But seeing him as an assist trophy is still fine, if Wario's around at least it keeps the four together!
As long as they're not killing the Shop Channels and online services, I'm not too affected by it. I've had plenty of memories playing Brawl with friends and forum friends way back in Brawl's heyday but I've long since even bothered using a game's online capabilities on the Wii.
At least they've kept it this long! and hopefully more people will be able to move to the Wii U and enjoy some MK8 and SSB4
Thanks for the heads up. Might pick up. I'm hyped for Monolith Soft's X but I never played Xenoblade Chronicles (its a game that went pass me so I never got to purchase it during it's initial run).
Ahh the Sonic fanboy in me just can't stop being excited for this. The show is shaping up nicely and the game even moreso in my opinion (though I wish Amy's VA would make her sound less Minnie Mouse-ish). Other than that, a great vid and just gets me even more pumped!

Haha damn, I bought Arkham Origins just recently and have enjoyed it thoroughly (even heard it's one of the best versions of the game surprisingly). I was going to purchase some DLC (like the Initiation which they somehow got THAT on the Wii U) available for the game but after seeing this, I'm slightly weary.
I'm curious if I would get refunded if I purchase the Season Pass now? lol.
I'm pretty sure what he means is that since you can potentially unlock all characters through other means, you don't really need to play Subspace and since all the cutscenes were uploaded onto the interwebz that's even LESS incentive to see the story for yourself. It made the whole process of creating a campaign almost useless. At least that's how I interpret that in their eyes. It's like if you wrote an entire book and people read it on spark notes or something.
It's not a good excuse but I can understand it. I play Smash for the fighting and even though I enjoyed SSE, I don't feel it HAS to come back in someway! As long as the net code is great lol
I absolutely love Castlevania and actually also really enjoyed LoS on Xbox 360. If the sequel doesn't make it's way to the Wii U I won't really be bothered but I do love having multiplat's on Wii U due to bias ^-^
Haha I LOVE this idea. It could've gone to a more suitable franchise (possibly Fire Emblem) but I love this idea all the same. I love my mindless hack and slash games and having one with The Legend of Zelda motif is definitely a plus (kind of like the DW Gundam series).
I get this won't be a lot of people's cup of tea but this is a day one pick up for me! Just gotta stay away from other hack and slashers before release.
I liked the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games for the Gamecube that were based around the 2003 series. The sequels had cool unlocks, bonuses, and even featured clips from the show.
Haven't gotten the chance to check the new TMNT show (I would probably love it though). But this game seems cool enough for me to pick up when the price lowers!
Aww a little sad. I actually stopped my a local Blockbuster to pick up some cheap games (too bad there was nothing good left) and just came out with a few cheap brand new blu rays.
Blockbuster was how I played the newest, latest games as a kid. It saved money for my parents and I always got to try something new. Sad to see something meaningful in my life disappear with the ever changing times. RIP Blockbuster ~
Ohhh man, this is gonna be on my priority buy list. I've been a huge Gearshead for the longest time and having a portable game that takes a lot of inspiration from it is just something I've wanted for the longest time (right next to actually having Gears on the 3DS xD)
Beautiful graphics, CPP compatibility, 60 FPS on the 3DS. Now I only hope it's gonna get a physical release so I can have a physical copy in my collection!
Welp, gonna finally buckle down and get a Wii U. This is the perfect bundle for me, I still have extra Wiimotes so this can be a fun multiplayer experience right out of the box!
Definitely still have interest in this game but seriously guys, you can still support the game without supporting their DLC practice. At most, they'll see how well their game sold but not their micro transaction b/s. In all seriousness, idk anyone who actually buys these sort of things.
Nintendo has so many games on their list that'd be a goldmine for overusing DLC but they don't for the most part (at least in most of their main series of games).
I personally wouldn't mind another region even if it was 20+ bucks. X/Y is ripe for redesigning older worlds for us to explore (though the Elite Four of X/Y are 60+ in level so balancing new regions might be an issue).

Blockbuster was how I played the newest, latest games as a kid. It saved money for my parents and I always got to try something new. Sad to see something meaningful in my life disappear with the ever changing times. RIP Blockbuster ~
Re: Video: This IronFall Tech Demo is Rather Impressive
Ohhh man, this is gonna be on my priority buy list. I've been a huge Gearshead for the longest time and having a portable game that takes a lot of inspiration from it is just something I've wanted for the longest time (right next to actually having Gears on the 3DS xD)
Beautiful graphics, CPP compatibility, 60 FPS on the 3DS. Now I only hope it's gonna get a physical release so I can have a physical copy in my collection!
Re: Mario & Luigi Premium Wii U Bundle Confirmed For North American Release
Welp, gonna finally buckle down and get a Wii U. This is the perfect bundle for me, I still have extra Wiimotes so this can be a fun multiplayer experience right out of the box!
Re: Bravely Default To Feature Optional Special Attack Abilities as Microtransactions
Definitely still have interest in this game but seriously guys, you can still support the game without supporting their DLC practice. At most, they'll see how well their game sold but not their micro transaction b/s. In all seriousness, idk anyone who actually buys these sort of things.
Re: Pokémon Developers: Paid DLC Could "Ruin The Worldview" of The Franchise
Nintendo has so many games on their list that'd be a goldmine for overusing DLC but they don't for the most part (at least in most of their main series of games).
I personally wouldn't mind another region even if it was 20+ bucks. X/Y is ripe for redesigning older worlds for us to explore (though the Elite Four of X/Y are 60+ in level so balancing new regions might be an issue).
