North Americans who have been eager to grab hold of certain rewards on Club Nintendo will be pleased to know Nintendo of America has recently replenished its stock. Well, at least sort of, with most – but not all – physical items returning. These items range from a series of Nintendo-themed greeting cards, to Kirby Patch Sets, and even a stylish Pikmin Tote Bag. If you were keen on picking up the Animal Crossing 3DS Pouch or A Link Between Worlds Poster Set though, sadly, these rewards are both still unavailable.
On the other hand, there’s plenty to fall back on outside of physical items including the recent batch of downloadable games for Wii U, Wii and 3DS – which include the likes of Star Fox 64, Super Mario Bros. 2 and Mario Golf. These digital offerings are available until the 7th of September, so get them while you can, North Americans.
If any of the physical items are of interest – let us know. Be sure to also tell us what else you'd like to see on Club Nintendo in the near future, regardless of the region you're from.
Thanks to Ryan Millar for the tip!

But what about the GAMES ( the reason why I love Club Nintendo)
People will still complain that it isn't a CD.
What's a CD? Oh you mean those weird record things that don't work on my turn table?
I prefer the games myself but variety is always good
I got the Kirby and Prince patch set since it was on sale and I had coins to spend, hopefully I can put it on my XL's armor or something.
@Liam_Doolan
I just logged in and the Pikmin tote is not available unfortunately.
More games should be available if the physical rewards are going to be so sparse.
Yeah, I would hardly call this a replenishing. What, two items came back? And it's basically just the patches and greeting cards. The Pikmin tote bag, as mentioned, is gone again.
They aren't "still unavailable." They were stocked and sold out again hours before you posted the article.
So they stocked what, two bags? Pretty pathetic either way. I just want them to get in more of those 3DS game cases. My first one is full and I've got more games to sort.
I was hoping they would have restocked the Yoshi cleaning cloth, but that's not even in the "Currently Unavailable" section, so I guess that's gone for good. There's nothing else that interests me. I really wish we could get a Tropical Freeze soundtrack though... At this rate it seems like it's going to become as much wishful thinking as a Kirby Air Ride sequel is...
Sadly I spent all my points on game VC download. I really would like that tote bag.
Club Nintendo used to be quite fun. A true incentive that sometimes coaxed me to make a purchase sooner than I had originally planned. It's the sort of thing that helps fuel brand loyalty and sets Nintendo apart from other companies. Now it feels like whoever is running the show recently doesn't understand the value and positioning power the club has. I hope that changes.
Just check JP Club Nintendo, great new physical rewards almost every month. Yoshi plush, Super Mario Tape, Club Nintendo Touch Pen, ? Block Rubber Coaster, NES Notebook, and this month, they got a Shopping Bag with Mario's enemys on it.
Are we ever going to see the SNES classic controller or gold nunchuk again?
Still sucks though.
I know we Europeans go on like a broken record but is there any logical reason why NoA can buy games with their reward scheme and Europe can't?
@Mercy_Lost: You expect LOGIC from Nintendo? Heh...I don't think so. Anyway, I'd gladly trade you. Free cheap games are not my idea of a good reward for spending hundreds of dollars on...well, GAMES. Often including the ones they're trying to give me for free. Meanwhile, you guys have a Mario Galaxy soundtrack, cute Yoshi plush, and plenty of other physical goodies. Those points cards are pathetic at this point, though...should be replaced with eShop cash cards by now.
Um... What? That stuff has been in stock forever. No one wants it.
I usually cash my coins in on the games but in would like to see some new stock come in. Kind of wish they would offer nunchucks to match the Mario, Luigi and peach wii remotes (like what they did for the Zelda gold remote).
So where's that Yoshi plush that the UK got huh? HUH??
Lol, they are already gone, it is back to the 6 items it was at for months, though it did hit 5 items because one of the Kirby patches was sold out but still, it is still a pitiful selection. Lets see, we get a refil on items and Europe gets a Yoshi plushie
@Mercy_Lost
The logic there would be the same why NoA cannot get the decent rewards that Europe has.
An umbrella with a picture of the classic tote bag!
Woooohooo!!!! On this subject, my free reward green and gold Zelda case from clubnintendo.co.uk arrived this morning. I'm well pleased with it.
Eh...the physical rewards here don't particularly interest me.
It's mostly plastic tat. In Europe we have your stupid physical 'rewards'- and not much else. Games are what it's about!!! Bring games to Europe, I beg you Nintendo!
@ikki5
The rewards are not really as decent as you say. What would be better would be for NA to get more physical rewards and Europe to get more games. Because a Princess Peach relaxation set is just awful
I don't see a difference.... Anyway, there's still nothing worth spending my coins on. Really wish we could get new stuff like the other regions, like that Zelda theme carry case. Don't want to waste my coins on virtual console crap that I could just buy anytime I want.
Waiting for cases......
Waiting for cases......
Even with a working 64, I still wish star fox 64 was on wii u and not wii u via the wii virtual console.
@ZenTurtle I disagree. I think a program similar to the digital deluxe program they currently have on the Wii U would be great. I think everyone knows that Nintendo (or any company) is not going to match dollar for dollar but having the option of downloading what you want versus picking between a few choices would be good. This would make everyone happy except for the people who prefer actual items.
They must have added a very small number of Pikmin bags, or there was a huge pent up demand for physical rewards, because the Pikman bag was available for months previously.
@miiandmario You'll end up saving them till the end of the year because there won't be anything better. Then because your points expire, you'll log on to club Nintendo to choose the one object that wasn't too bad. But you'll see that everyone else had the same thought and now that 1 item is gone or in my case, only available in pink.....and then you'll choose either a dumb patch or poster that you'll never use. Others will tell you that you should be happy since it's better then nothing, but really it isn't because you spent your time filling out surveys that Nintendo uses to market or develop their business, and for some of us, time is valuable. But hey.....you got a dumb poster!
I think Nintendo is done with physical rewards. Not a new item in 10-12 months ( the last one was the Pikmin tote, I think).
Gone are the days of carts cases and such, it seems.
The last cool item was the Luigi's figurine that cost like 1,200 coints or such, if I remember correctly.
Eh. I got the Pikmin Tote bag a long time ago, and I'll tell you what, the Club Nintendo of Europe and Japan are still 89x better than NA.
@maceng
Actually its was the XL docking station which was earlier this year. I was so pissed because I had points and was on their site at the time they said they would launch, they were not clear about time zone, anyhow I had to leave for a short time and when I came back all colors gone.....Ii have been platinum 3 yrs in a row.
Last year I did get the Zelda music CD but this year was so let down that platinum was ONLY games in the USA and IMO they mostly sucked. I took DKCR for 3DS which I already had on cart, but was really the only great game other than Earthbound.
I don't mind games for coins but I think the annual rewards should have physical options. Also it would be nice if the games were something like ambassador games where they are VC for 3DS or WiiU that you can only get for being gold/platinum.
Boy, the NA Club Nintendo rewards have been garbage for a long time now. Why can't we seem to get anything new?
Man, I miss the days when Club Nintendo had cool stuff at different price levels. I still have the 2 exclusive Game and Watch collections for the DS and the replica Game and Watch Ball system. I wish that the glory days of the Nintendo Power catalog was relived on Club Nintendo. Soundtracks and cool merchandise but not it seems NoA is content to just throw unremarkable digital games at us and assume that's enough to get people excited. I've reached Platinum Status every year since the program started and my very first platinum reward was a digital game, Doc Louis' Punch-Out and even for a digital reward, it was interesting because it wasn't available elsewhere and still felt special. I sold this year's platinum reward on ebay and sent club nintendo an email saying how disappointing this year's rewards were.
I think its been said somewhere above but Club Nintendo's current physical goods aren't anything people are trying to get and instead are just leftovers that have been there for years that nobody wants. Everyone is reluctant to spend their earned coins on that crap so whenever something semi-interesting is available, people flock to it and whatever pitiful quantity was stocked is sold out in hours.
Club Nintendo's only saving grace are the game specific-promotions like the eShop credit for Fire Emblem, the soundtrack for OoT and upcoming Smash Bros, the bonus game for Mario Kart. Outside of that, Club Nintendo isn't worth it anymore.
Hmm still junk. We want new rewards not downloadable. New physical rewards please! Good ones to
Europe gets the cool non-game rewards, NA gets the downloadable games, and each continent wants to have the other's stuff. Japan is the only happy territory here.
I just checked and the Pikmin Bag is still sold out... will check back later
@dkxcalibur
I think if even 10% of the money spent could be redeemed on the eshop, it would be worth it. Currently I am not inclined to spend my stars on a pathetic keyring...
@burninmylight
Some of the non game rewards are good such as the Zelda triforce case thingy, but they used to be much better- the snes classic controller, the gold nunchuck for example.
@darklinkinfinite
Was the fire emblem deal just in the USA? I don't remember anything like that in Europe
That was fast. Pikmin totes are gone.
Hm, the Kirby patch is on sale. I have 1500+ coins lmao. Might as well! I always have enough games in the back if I need more coins. Ordered! Thanks for the update NL haha.
@ZenTurtle It might've been. This is the deal I was referring to https://club.nintendo.com/rewards-details/a/38502.do I might've misrepresented it in my previous post
@darklinkinfinite
Ah. Thanks
Club Nintendo isn't really worth it anymore other than for the occasional deal like the smash bros soundtrack. I still check every month for games in case there's one that I want.
NoA needs to do a complete refresh of their physical rewards and put all-new items up.
I wanna see 3DS Game Cases & soundtracks from the 1st Party games like Mario 3D World and DK: Tropical Freeze. Both have spectacular tunes!
It's still just greeting cards and kirby patches. The tote bag is unavailable and I don't want it anyway. They should add better stuff.
I was excited when I read the headline as I thought the rewards were back but it's just the same 5 rubbish ones. I miss the days of there being 20+ physical rewards, I want my Mario shoelaces or games cases back. =(
ARE YOU KIDDING ME.
No New Leaf Pouch still.
I've saved up 1600 points. I'm waiting for a high priced limited time thing to come along.
Is it just me or is the Pikmin Tote taken down again??
I just want the blue Animal Crossing pouch to get back in stock. It's the only animal crossing item I don't have from Club Nintendo... and the only item left I want.
Nintendo of America is dropping the ball on a lot of things. I went on their club Nintendo site yesterday and there was about 5 things to chose from. WTF is going on. If anyone from NA wants to see how stuff should be handled go visit the European club Nintendo. Fair warning though prepare to want to stab a Nintendo of America rep.
That Pikmin Tote bag sold out faster than the Gold Nunchuk!
but ugh why not the items they had in the uk instead for once.... -_- yes im complaining cuz pikmin bag just is a no for me
And the Australian Club Nintendo is even worse... Don't feel bad guys, we only have stickers and notepads. And when there are awesome limited items up for grabs they go out of stock in mere hours :/
The Pikmin Tote was up there forever - then all of a sudden it sells out - then they put it up for a few hours and it sells out again. I'm confused. I need different games or something.
I'd like to see some of the rewards that EU is getting over here in the US. They have all this fantastic merch, and we're left with irrelevant Nintendog postcards, Grill-Off for the Wii, and outdated Kirby Yarn patches. What happened to all that great stuff we used to get?
I'm still waiting for the game card case to come back, it's the only item that I actually need right now.
I'll wait for games, but maybe this will satisfy people who like posters and postcards and what not. Only physical items I'm interested in are game cases.
@QuickSilver88
I completely forgot about them, even though I grabbed 3 of them (a yellow one for my Pikachu 3DSXL, a red one for my Pokemon X, and a green one I was expecting to use it with a limited Luigi 3DSXl, that never came to the US.
I completely forgot about them because I keep the first 2 3DSXL on their boxes and the green one is tucked away.
That Pikmin bag is about the only decent looking thing we have on the Australian Nintendo Club. I think it's been there for ages.
Club Nintendo must cost NOA money, and at a time when they are bleeding money I can understand why they are only releasing VC games. What I don't understand is why Europe gets physical rewards when the market there is mostly Sony and Microsoft.
