Nothing against the series, but i've always viewed situations like this to be somewhat insulting to our intelligence. It's like they think we're incapable of understanding what makes certain aspects of games so appealing to Eastern audiences (WE'RE NOT).

Saw the show trailer. Sonic looks better there than he does here. Eggman looks awesome too.
