While it's easy to get excited about the new games coming to the Wii U and 3DS, it's worth remembering that there are an awful lot of Wii and DS consoles out in the wild, and plenty of people still rely on these superseded formats for their interactive entertainment — hence Activision's recent announcement of Transformers double pack releases for both systems.
Transformers: Ultimate Battle Edition and Transformers: Ultimate Autobots Edition both launch on November 15th in Europe, and include two previously-released titles from the toy-based series.
Here's the official word from Activision:
TRANSFORMERS: ULTIMATE BATTLE EDITION is released on 15th November for Wii. It is rated PEGI 7 and includes:
· TRANSFORMERS: CYBERTRON ADVENTURES: Before their conflict came to Earth, the AUTOBOTS and DECEPTICONS waged war over the fate of their home planet, Cybertron, in this third-person adventure featuring 16 air and ground missions with two-player co-op.
· TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON – STEALTH FORCE EDITION: Experience the untold story set before the movie of the same name in this third-person action game featuring 18 missions, 8 playable characters and the incredible power of the all-new stealth force.TRANSFORMERS: ULTIMATE AUTOBOTS EDITION, is released on 15th November for Nintendo DS. It is rated PEGI 7 and includes:
· TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN: Save the world from the brink of annihilation across a riveting campaign with 12 missions inspired by the film in this explosive adventure.
· TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON - Experience the untold story set before the movie of the same name in this third-person action game featuring 12 missions, 4 playable characters and the incredible power of the all-new stealth force.
While neither of these two releases constitutes an entirely new outing, we can see both making their way into plenty of stockings this Christmas. What are your thoughts?

Wow, this news hit here late. This was reported on Transformers fan sites weeks ago.
@Trikeboy The press release for the Euro versions was only issued yesterday.
Dunno why anybody would go for this when there is War for Cybertron and its sequel.
@Drop-Dead-Fred LOL
Why not release the War For and Fall of Cybertron games on the Wii U instead?
@taffy now your talking!
Recycling makes money these days
