Nothing is free, but this is free as in free beer and no one loses out by viewing ads or him getting money off affiliate links.

The point is does it cost you anything to use, and it doesn’t. Sites like Facebook do profit off your data. This site is a tool that the guy wanted to use for himself and obviously had ads to cover his time and server costs. And there’s three options to avoid personalised ads. So there’s absolutely nothing to point out to anyone happy that the site is free.

Anyway, the good thing about the obvious? You don’t have to state it.

@DumbElder like almost all websites? Did you read the link? He’s not selling data on your game likes to advertisers. And he gives options to opt out although anyone that cares would use an adblocker if they didn’t want him to be able to fund his server costs.

@Moroboshi876 From memory, I think the sales were pretty high. It was the only way to (almost) play NES Super Mario Bros before Switch Online launched the NES games.

@gokev13 Yup, my wife played first, she's the representative. She spoke to Blathers and got Brewster's pic. Then I logged in and talked to blathers and he didn't mention the cafe, then I went to a capp'n island and brewster was not there. Harv's island worked fine, and then she logged back in and Brewster was at the capp'n island. I also, unsurprisingly, was not able to buy that builder's license that lets you build more bridges / inclines.

@StardusterEX There's no doubt most people play in real time.Most people wouldn't have the knowledge or inclination to keep changing their clocks.

I need to test this on my 2nd tv as it’s currently got weird ghosting on my 4K tv and it makes me a bit sad. It also use to do weird things with the rgb profile. Just this one game! Got to admit I’ve not been that bothered since I started with Hades.

Truthfully, just porting Dr. Mario to the mobile would not have been any better. Games that need physical controls are pretty rubbish on a small touch screen.

The Mario one is very cute (would love it if it had more game versions included, or was updateable) but I'm not at all bothered about Zelda. Which is a shame, as it seems like there's more included here.

@Dethmunk No, not every church. It's much easier for independent churches (it's also easier for them to be discriminatory). The bigger established churches have processes for change, but it takes a long time, because they've been going a long time. Many Christians are on a journey from biblical literalism, to a more nuanced understanding of the message.

I love a bit of Dr Mario, but could never get into this game. Just a typical frustrating pay-to-play mobile game. At least it didn't have ads... I think...

@PBandSmelly This again. Some people in a church related to Chris Pratt's church (and probably in his church) have a tough time with accepting that some people are gay and that it's ok. Chris Pratt doesn't.
