Ha ha. My favorite part of the review was the complaint of typos in the game. It’s my favorite because it’s mentioned directly after a typo in the review itself. I think that’s called irony. ‘Good like’ finding it.

If I’m not mistaken didn’t Monster Hunter 4 sell more in Japan in 2 days than World sold in 3 weeks? I don’t think Sony or Capcom are too happy about that. Maybe it’s selling enough in the rest of the world to make up for it.

I check this sight out whenever I want to see if someone is going to “pass” on a game or not. Because it’s important everyone knows apparently.

Nintendo just needs to bring back Pro Wrestling and we'll have nothing to worry about. If they did that the winner is everyone.

Nintendo games rarely sell well in the U.K. from what I've seen. Sony really has their claws in that part of the world for some reason.

Maybe they'll bring out a patch later on. Shouldn't the final score be held until then? Or is that just for big budget games?

@Grandpa_Pixel Maybe it's a financial reason, but he acts like he doesn't care so no one knows. I doubt trolling a website 24 hours a day pays well.

When I hear people people are getting upset about not knowing what a new video game console is going to be like, I can't help but be envious. Their lives are so problem free this is a big deal to them. File under first world problems

This franchise is yet to meet near perfection. 9/10. What's near perfection on a scale of 1 to 10? 9.5?

@james_squared I also noticed most of those games are also on the Xboxone. i wonder why a Nintendo based website forgot to mention these things.

And this is why I lean toward Nintendo. Literally no one, outside of the people working on it, has any idea of what the NX will be. I wondered if the rumor mill worked the same when the other companies were about to release a new console, and it's hard to imagine that being the case. I'm glad there's someone out there leaving everyone guessing.

I wish I could sell 25 thousand of something I created in one week in one country. I wonder what all the "abysmal" folks on here have made and sold.

My prediction for today's Direct is people will complain about it on the Internet.

@DarkKirby amen. Like when the Halo collection and the Gears of War collection came out on the Wii U. Or when The Last of Us was rerelease On the Wii U. Don't forget Resident Evil and Tomb Raider. I hear Final Fantasy 7 will be out soon. I think that might be on the 3DS though. I'm going to have to switch to the Xbox or the PlayStation. All these remakes on Nintendo systems are making me crazy.

No one ever talks about the fact that you and your friends could make music videos over the internet. That was the best part.

It's funny to me that everyone says third party games don't sell on Nintendo consoles. Then you read people saying 'I guess I'll have to get it on my xbox or playstation. Are those people lying? Do they not buy third party games on those consoles either?

Ouch. I thought it was sad when third parties stopped supporting the Wii U. Now Nintendo is doing the same thing. I hope they bring out their games on other consoles instead of disappearing completely.

@Shiryu my thoughts exactly. Tropical freeze was announced and people cried. This game is announced and people cried. But you know what? Prime 4 will be announced and those same people will still cry. They'll cry that something isn't exactly the way they think it should be. They'll cry because Nintendo changed something or didn't change something. They'll cry because Nintendo made a sequel instead of a complete new IP. I think these forums are a place where people can go to complain after they've chased everyone in their lives away because they're sick of their crying.

Tonight people will go to bed without eating, children will die from easily curable diseases, and some people will lose their homes and families to religious beliefs corrupt governments and terrorist organizations, but some people have real problems! I had to watch another sneak peek at Yoshi's Wooly World! When did so many people become entitled cry babies?

Is it weird that people talk about consoles of today outselling consoles from the 80s and in the next sentence declare that times are different now then they were back then? What if the world didn't worry about sales, but just played games they wanted to play? I prefer RC cola to Coke and Pepsi. I prefer Jaguar to Honda and Toyota. And I'd rather listen to Iamamiwhoami than whoever's in the top 40 rotation. But that's just me. I don't always go with number one.

@OMC79 exactly. I've always thought it has something to do with the primitive tribal instinct. If you're not accepted by your tribe (ei classmates on the playground) you have no chance of survival.

@Superryanworld sure they matter. It's a business. I don't think Nintendo is hurting for money right now. I just don't understand when it became necessary for them to break record sales with everything they do. I know the bar for them is set high, but everybody just needs to relax. Unless all the people complaining are Nintendo shareholders and have a stake in the company.

It's sad, but it's how things go. Today's kids don't want to play the games their parents played. Just like their kids won't want to play the games they played. Some things don't last forever. People will one day tire of xbox's first person shooters and playstation's last generation ports like they did with Mario.

It's a sad world when people think something's greatness depends on how much it sells. These are the same people with the extensive Backstreet Boy cd collection.

@sub12 you must have never paid any attention to the indie portion on the 360. While most of those games were a dollar, there were some for 2.99 and 4.99, and most of them were complete garbage.

I love the fact that so many people's opinions are swayed by how well something sells. If a lot if people buy it it's got to be good. Whether it's the Sony Xbox or the Microsoft Playstation or the Twilight movies or the Backstreet Boys, sales will determine what's good and what's not.

Quick! Will somebody tell me what soda company sold the most product this quarter! What about lightbulbs?! Who sold the most lightbulbs! I need to know these things! Because I have nothing else important in my life. I remember when a backstreet boys album was the best selling at the time. It was cause it was an amazing record? Right? That has to be it. Only the best sells the most. That's why I'm so concerned.

So.... If I understand this right Ubisoft will continue to make more Wii games then Xboxone. Since more sales were on the Wii.

I thought Most Wanted was great. I haven't tried EA's other games so I can't say anything about them. I don't really care if they make games for the Wii U outside Mirror's Edge 2 and maybe a new Dead Space. What I don't get it why it's such a big deal they're not partnering up with Nintendo. Look at Namco for example, they're working on Smash Brothers, but do they contribute with other games? No. Capcom? A couple of ports. What has Square offered? Is it just because EA is more vocal?

I'm on the verge of just giving up on all of these Nintendo sites. It used to be if I wanted to avoid reading about all Nintendo's failings I could just avoid IGN or Gamespot. Now no matter where I look there it is. I'm not saying that Nintendo's not going through a rough patch now, but give me a break. This is just hypothetical, but what if websites like this had been posting positive articles over the past year. Would the situation be different if there was a positive voice out there? Why couldn't Nintendo Power stick it out just a couple more years?

Maybe this is a dumb idea, but one of the biggest complaints about the wii u is advertising. What if Nintendo had the general public make commercials for them. They could make a channel on youtube, or somewhere else out on the internet. I bet a lot of really great and creative ads could come out of that. Plus It would be almost completely free for them.
