Nice. It's just around the corner. I was hoping for a physical release, but this will have to do. Nice price, too.

So the crazy week of releases in the middle of November just got even crazier. I turn 40 just 2 days before that date but with all the games I'll have to play, who cares about being an old codger.

...hey wait, this won't get a physical edition? I was even willing to pay Switch tax for this...

I've never played Rocket League, but it looks enjoyable.

How's the pricing compared to the other platforms?

November truly is 3rd party month, I don't even have Odyssey yet due to preorder issues.

Perf! Should be winding down Odyssey by then, and with Xenoblade coming on December 1st, will be holding off on Skyrim. This’ll fill the whole nicely...

Meh... After Nov 17th I'll be playing Battlefront 2 online with my cousins I wont see for Thanksgiving... not playing this with strangers on Nintendo's fiasco of an online play service. Switch is full of old ports I already played anyway in Nov - Move back to Switch for Xenoblade2 in Dec.

Money is starting to feel like an estranged spouse right about now. Come back, I'm sorry!

Just the right price and one more game to fill in the ever expanding Christmas lineup.

Lego Marvel 2 is Nov 14th. And it's not even a late port, it's a day 1 port. I need to pre-order Lego, keep forgetting.

We already own this on PS4 but 2 player portable for $20 would be nice if it works that way. A better investment for $20 then some other indie games I've seen for $30 lately.

@OorWullie I'd rather see new original games. I'd like to play Super Mario Odyssey but I don't care for the Switch in it's current form or price. I'm currently playing Super Mario World on the Wii U Virtual Console and it's fantastic.

Day 1! This will be a great game to have for Thanksgiving to play with family.

On another note, the week of November 10th-17th is beyond crazy.

@garydbz25 It would (analog triggers allow for greater precision) ..but it all depends on whether the devs have specifically coded Gamecube controller/analog trigger support in to the game - and, seeing as though Reggie basically said that GC controller support was something of a 'happy accident', I have my doubts that GC-specific support will have been coded in to the game unfortunately ..hope they patch it in though, that'd be awesome!

@IceClimbers Yeah, I was a bit of a late-comer to PS4 - so missed the free RL download unfortunately (still got 60% off though, so not all bad!) - I just can't help feeling like I'd get so much more out of it if I had it on my Switch - if only I could transfer my save/DLC purchases! ..still very, very tempted though - I so love RL that much!

Well now I'm missing the mustache on the Mario car!

@Nintendoforlife It's not though. When the game first launched, they offered it as one of the free games through PS+. The thing is that those "free" games can only be accessed while you an active subscription. After the subcription is up you can't access those games until you renew.

Since I got the game that way, it's locked behind my subscription. With the Switch version I'm just buying it, so the game isn't locked behind a subscription. The online play will be, but not the entire game itself.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE It is fantastic, along with Yoshi's Island its my favourite game of all time. Funnily enough my first time playing SMW was on the Wii VC so nostalgia doesn't even come into it for me. I can recognise how incredible it must have been at the time though. I'm hoping it will be one of the games that will be part of the new online service with added features. I'd love to see it get the Mario Maker treatment, with HD, wide-screen and time attacks.

then i played it. it really is crazy fun pick-up-and play. simple to play, hard to master, always matches with people at my level. Truck Soccer as i call it, is awesome fun.

With so much else coming out around the same time I'll wait for the physical release.

@OorWullie Strangely, it's my time playing it. I've a number of games like that that I missed out on back in the day or am saving for a rainy day. So when SMO came out, I thought what better time to start this classic.

Will likely be my next game purchase. Odyssey + Rocket League + more Splatoon 2 should keep me busy until Christmas time.

@JaxonH Telltale Batman and Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 also launch on the 14th. The first Lego Marvel is easily one of, if not the best Lego game and one of the best Marvel games in recent memory, so if the 2nd one is anything like the first it should be excellent.

@QwertyQwerty Absolutely. Rocket League came out of nowhere and is one of my favorite games of all time. If you like having fun, then you’ll love Rocket League. For anyone who’s on the fence, I would highly recommend picking this up.

Despite the fact that I rarely played it on Steam, this is a must-buy on day one! Such a perfect fit for the Switch (or any Nintendo console really)!
Can't wait to play it with a friend who plays it regularly on PC.

@KirbyTheVampire You don't have to be a soccer fan to enjoy Rocket League. I mean, sure, the core concept stems from soccer/football, but I'm pretty certain that many or maybe even most RL players are not actual football fans.
While there are obvious similarities, it plays very differently than any football/soccer game.
Of course that doesn't mean you'll automatically love it, but I wouldn't disregard it only because you don't like soccer.

@ekwcll I never compared SMW to SMO. They're 2 completely separate and distinct titles. I just said I'm enjoying SMW as I'm sure I will enjoy SMO when I eventually play it.

I have yet to give Rocket League a go but when I do the Switch version will be the one to get for me, those Mario and Luigi skins practically seal the deal!

I like physical versions when possible so that I can share the carts between my unit and my kids' one(the one they don't know they're getting for christmas).

since rocket league is a multiplayer game and fairly cheap, it will probably be worth getting a copy for each system... but I still would prefer one to be physical...

Perfect game for the switch. I have it on xbox and love it, though I don't get to play it so much cos it calls for short gaming sessions and the xbox takes ages to start up, honestly. Getting into the game instantly means it'll be the best version of the game.

All DLC in BF are included in the original price (there are no paid dlc this time), nothing is behind a pay wall, you can unlock everything by playing the game. So nonody forcing you to use microtransaction unless you are lazy. There are 40 players on the board - you won't be the only one not paying for it. Or play the single player story mode, or Arcade mode with your friends.

Games like Okami is not only remastered but also has a 19.99 price tag. When Sony remade Gravity Rush from the VITA all the way to PS4 it was 29.99 if you pre-order (39.99 after). Ezio collection was 39.99 (3 old games) I would not had paid 60 for those either. Not about old games at $60 on the Switch... It is about old games at $60.
