Not long ago Nintendo of Europe confirmed a November release for Nintendo Presents: New Style Boutique 3 - Styling Star, the latest entry in the surprisingly accomplished series. The good news is that North American gamers won't miss out, even if they have to wait a bit longer before they play it.
Eagle-eyed readers will have spotted a demo for Style Savvy: Styling Star in this week's download update, which is the localised name in North America. It's worth highlighting, then, that Nintendo of America has confirmed the full title will arrive on 25th December. It's not often we see a game arrive bang on that date, but there you have it. [Update: that's likely due to this being eShop-only, which we initially missed].

It looks like an ambitious entry in the series, and we'll be reviewing the European version when it arrives later this month.

Wait, is that in Physical retail also ?!
I remember trying to get my sister to get these games.
This shall be a stocking stuffer for me. But the stocking will be stylish. And savvy.
What a strange choice of date. I won't be getting the game regardless though. Make one for the Switch and I'm down.
@Anti-Matter I believe so, but presumably you'd have to wait until 26th December to get a boxed copy.
@Anti-Matter Digital only according to Nintendo of America's tweet. At least that's how I understood it.
@MagicEmperor Actually it won't, because NL left out an important detail--it's eShop only. @ThomasBW84
might have to get eShop credit so that I can download the game on Christmas to play. I didn't buy the previous one but this one seems awesome.
Pre-ordered for my girlfriend for Christmas. She loves New Style Boutique
@PanurgeJr Well... can I still be proud of my semi-witty joke? 🙁
@Late
Aw, man...
I think i will consider another New 3DS XL or New 2DS XL Europe version in order to play Europe version 3DS games Exclusive in Physical Retail.
I'm a fan of the previous entries, so much so that I ache to see this series on Switch. Neither my girlfriend or I have played our DS' since we each got switches.
@MagicEmperor Absolutely.
@MagicEmperor Buy it online, and write down the download code?
@PanurgeJr Ah, I missed that line, thanks for that. Added an update.
25th December is still a Monday, though, so it's still slightly odd!
@PanurgeJr Yay!
@ImagineerNik Whoa! I didn’t consider that, but thanks! That is an idea!
Wasn't until I spoke to a friend of mine who told me this series has carved quite a niche market in Europe.
Not my thing but wish the series the best!
Hello, I'm a mostly straight guy who flipping loves these games.
I never even understood how to play the first game.
@Totaldude911 "Mostly" as in "I'm mostly pregnant", eh?
I've tried to get into these games playing the demos for the previous ones but they did nothing for me. I'll give this one a try and see what happens.
@ThomasBW84 I imagine they're targeting girls who presumably got a 2DS for Christmas and need games for it.
@GC-161 I'm also pregnant. But not 100% straight.
That could come in handy. Since I've gotten older, I haven't been getting as many games for holidays or birthdays, but I honestly feel awkward if I don't have a new game to play on Christmas day.
Glad we're not so behind Europe this time!
Style Savvy for SMA5H!
UK gets a physical release and NA gets an eshop-only. It is sooo impractical for me to buy a UK 3DS just to play a physical copy of New Style Boutique 3...Would totally do it if it gets bundled with that sexy cover-plated N3DS that 2 got bundled with...Oh wait! N3DS is out of production! Sexy New 2DS, then? BTW: Demo is in 2D only so game will most likely be the same. I'm not mad at that seeing as how they got famed fantasy manga artist Lily Hoshino to do the character designs! Overall, it looks to be a stylized take on the franchise and I couldn't ask for more
