Back in the GameCube days, there was no online shopping, so you were at the mercy of store inventory. Because of that I missed out on both the bongo drums and the GameBoy Player. None in stock in my area. Sad times.

I wish Nintendo would add some elements from Skyrim, like the ability to marry and adopt kids. He already has a house in the game.

@JaxonH if they’re the same, Nintendo would have called them the same. It says "News 3DS" on the package, therefore that’s it’s name. Stop trying to defend the author for making a mistake in his article.

@JaxonH 3DS can’t play games designed for use only in New 3DS, so there is a difference. Not many, but some games do only work for New 3DS. Yes, he is wrong.

If you say "3DS" but you mean "New 3DS" then you’re a fool that needs a better education.

Blizzard gets no love from me. Not only do they own King (which has a history of ripping off other iOS games and then getting the original work banned from the App Store), but they ruined everything good about Activision, making it a pitiful shell of its former self.

@Slim1999 That’s how it did work. You needed to play for at least 2 hours. I suppose you could borrow a copy, but I’m sure most reviews were from people that owned the game.

@ALinkttPresent The reviews were supposed to be a way for people interested in buying to see what others said, so they can make a more informed decision. So how is it "weird" that others could see them?

It’s stupid, because it’s not like reviews were posted instantly. Nintendo had to approve each review before being posted, and it took 3-6 days for it to be approved. So it’s not like the reviews section was being vandalized.

If they don’t allow access to Terra Incognita from the get go, I’ll stick with just playing the first one. I’ve had way too much fun building stuff in it.

@samuelvictor What part of "looked the same" made you apply "had the same technological achievements" to what I said? Don’t put words in my mouth. They looked the same as far as all of them had a bar on the bottom and involves walking through semi-narrow halls.

What I said was meant to be taken in a tongue-in-cheek manor, but apparently you can’t joke on the internet anymore. Everyone takes everything so damn seriously. I say "doom and quake looked similar" and you react as if I said I killed your dog.

Back in the day, Doom, Wolfenstein, and Quake all looked pretty much the same. And now they are all vastly different.

@Paddle1 Hulu is on Switch, I don’t know a single person that subscribed just so they coulda watch it on Switch. Everyone I know that watches Hulu on Switch already had subscriptions.

Wii U was a dying system, Nintendo was losing money, from a business prospective fully shifting focus to the Switch was the right decision.

@sillygostly how would Netflix be missing out on "dollaz" by not being on the Switch? They don’t charge extra per device, you’re paying the same amount of money whether you have it on 100 devices, or have it on zero devices and only watch it in a web browser. Unless you think that people who currently don’t subscribe to Netflix will suddenly pay for it just because it’s on the Switch, which is a ridiculous theory. If you didn’t want to pay for Netflix before, most likely you’re not going to want to pay for it now.

I laughed so hard to see non-Switch owners pissed that 3 is an exclusive, so I hope 4 is also an exclusive to continue the lols. 😂 After all the ridicule Nintendo fans have gotten over the years, this is priceless.

@FinalFrog That’s why it doesn’t pay to go digital. I can get games cheaper physically, plus I always have the option to sell them later on. Whereas Dragon Quest Builders is $50 for digital, I only paid $40 to get it physically. Several stores discount new games with membership cards, but exclude digital games in those discounts.

I favor physical media. That being said, Dragon Quest Builders is coming tomorrow via UPS.

I’ve already grown accustomed to not play PS4 games on day 1 but rather wait for a GOTY Edition that includes all DLC. I suppose now I’m gonna have to start doing that Switch games if Nintendo pulls this crap.

It looks odd seeing Kid Niki in a yellow outfit. I’m use to the red outfit he wore in the NES version.

What annoyed me was one of the achievements for the N64 game required that you connect the Gameboy game to the Transfer Pak. I had the Pak thanks to Pokemon Statium, but I didn’t have the Perfect Dark Gameboy game, so that’s an achievement I could never get.

Some of you have been using the term "Nintendo of Japan" but there is no such place. It’s Nintendo Co. Ltd., only other regions outside of Japan get the "Nintendo of..." name.

Why would that even be an option? Of course NOA would have different policies than the other regions, they’ve done it for decades. Just look at that Wii U game that came out some years ago, NOA changed 2 of the costume options because their policies are clearly different.

It’s a really fun game. I bought it on PS4 when it was on sale for $24 last month. That’s a great price for 2 games (came with a digital code for Stick of Truth). It’s back up to full price now.

@BravelyDavid Hyrule Warriors on the Wii U ran like crap. So a port with better frame rate is welcomed. Plus it has all the content from both Wii U and 3DS as well as all the DLC included.

So I’m supposed to just believe that these people in the coffee shop were able to get a good enough Wi-Fi connection on their Switch that they didn’t experience any lag? Out of everything I own that has a built in Wi-Fi antenna, Switch is by far the worst. I can never get more than 2 bars, sometimes just 1. That’s why when docked, I use an Ethernet adapter.

You should edit the article. "This effects every model older than the iPhone 5 or iPhone 5c." would suggest that 5 and 5c aren’t being touched, but the quote clearly says they are as well. What you should have wrote, instead of "older than iPhone 5" is "iPhone 5c and older"
