@IceEarthGuard In Gen 3, 4, and 5, many Pokemon weren't obtainable naturally in the game, but the data for the missing Pokemon still existed in the code. In Sword and Shield, the missing Pokemon are not going to be in the game's code at all.

Imagine believing Masuda's BS excuses when they're so easily debunkable.

At least put Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie on the Switch and I'll be happy.

I was stupid enough to pre-order this game thinking that WB wouldn't try to screw me over in some way. I was smart enough, however, to keep my game in its plastic wrapping, so I can return it. At least I ended up saving $5.99 on Shao Kahn.

At least with the Fortnite Deep Freeze bundle physical release, which was still pretty stupid. was for a free-to-play game that had already been digitally released for a while. This, however, is absolute lunacy. Bethesda's cheapness, willingness to pass the cost of manufacturing carts onto us, and blatant attempt to damage the used-game industry is not acceptable. People trying to defend this crap or say "It's inevitable. Accept it." are enabling these companies to screw us out of our ownership of these games and force us to pay for storage instead of them.

I really hope Microsoft will allow Ninja Theory to secure a publishing deal for a physical release of this game.

@Darknyht But the digital deluxe version of the game also only cost about $5 more than the standard physical and digital editions, meaning that if you purchased the physical copies of this game, you were screwed. Plus, people like me, who actually wanted the toys of the ships, pilots, and weapons, would have to shell out even more money just to get them. The pricing of this game and its extra content was an utter disaster. That digital deluxe edition was priced so horribly in comparison to the content it provided that I guarantee it was one of the main reasons the toys shelfwarmed.

That digital deluxe version of the game killed physical toy sales. It was so undeniably cheaper than purchasing the game and the character and ship packs. It’s one of the most baffling business choices I’ve ever seen any company make. It’s a shame that there will be no more ships made because they all look pretty nice and I loved the on-the-fly parts-swapping. I guess this news also confirms that Startail will never be released outside of Europe.

So, when are we going to get more new spirits from these events?

@Dog It doesn't really matter that multiple Pokemon appear on the screen at a time in the Let's Go games. When I'm waiting for the game to decide when to spawn in a Pokemon I'm looking for, it's boring. I'm doing nothing. With random encounters, I'm in more control of how often I encounter Pokemon. Plus, I'm doing something to make it happen.

Also, expecting a Pokemon game with an open world as detailed as BOTW's in a 2 year development cycle is absolutely unrealistic.

What's inherently wrong with random encounters? At least with them, you can control the rate at which you encounter Pokemon. I hated waiting for certain Pokemon to spawn in LGP/LGE. At least with random encounters, I'm still engaged with the game.

@CurryPowderKeg79 I can understand region exclusive content for games like Animal Crossing, mainly because of cultural differences. For games with customizable gear, like Splatoon, giving regions exclusive content, even if every major region got the same amount of exclusive stuff, would still be pretty terrible.
