Re: Switch Is Getting Its First NASCAR Game This Year

TTgowings

If only we still had Papyrus, and hey maybe someday some Publisher will rein a F1 game on us, but just don't hold your breath since Codesh*tters is no more..https://www.theverge.com/2020/12/14/22173732/ea-codemasters-buyout-agreed-price-need-for-speed-dirt, and they are the ONLY ones that have the rights to the F1 games and any other "decent" driving/racing games for consoles atm...Oh and just who do WE have to thank for all of this yeah, that'd be the above "entitled" company...so the more you buy the more they buy.. I've NOT and will NOT EVER buy any EA games, for the past 15 or so years, and that's how you fix that problem.. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Papyrus_Design_Group

Re: The First Patch For Saints Row: The Third On Switch Rolls Out Later This Week

TTgowings

Yeah because just good enough should be ok for you when paying full price for a aged game that just launched but yet needs a month 1 patch... No! why do people accept this garbage ?? Dev's used to play-test games for up to 3 years or more before launch, now it's a barely playable game and the publishers just dump and run...You want this to stop, then stop pre-ordering games and stop buying day 1, wait until they make it a playable game, then maybe they'll learn..

Re: Feature: What Developers Really Think Of The Nintendo Switch eShop

TTgowings

N just needs to do a better job of not letting junk games through, like they said they were going to do..but they are not, they said they were NOT going to let all the shovel-ware through like they did on the Wii & Wii U, but here we are again all they do is see the $$ and woosh all the crapware is here again.. I'm still bewildered on how any game is let through that does NOT have touchscreen capabilities, really is this not like the MAIN selling point of the switch, let alone Joy Con support.. If your game doesn't meet certain criteria it shouldn't be on the e-shop period, go back and make it right, not with a patch make it right the first time..

Re: Former PlatinumGames Producer Pooh-Poohs Scalebound Rumour

TTgowings

So I guess ppl are still so far back in tech that they either don't see the possibilities of Scaling or just don't get it yet, but here it is again and yet they still aren't getting the possibility of what N can do with the Switch and third parties, MS is getting it and Sony will be left out in the cold, weather Scalebound will or won't be resurrected or not is irrelevant, what is are the endless possibilities of the CLOUD, just watch what Google has to announce in March.

Re: We're Getting Another Third-Party Switch Joy-Con With A D-Pad

TTgowings

D-Pad...

A D-pad (short for directional pad[1] or digital pad; also known as a control pad) is a flat, usually thumb-operated four-way directional control with one button on each point, found on nearly all modern video game console gamepads, game controllers, on the remote control units of some television and DVD players, and smart phones. Like early video game joysticks, the vast majority of D-pads are digital; in other words, only the directions provided on the D-pad buttons can be used, with no intermediate values.

Re: Devolver Digital's Ultra-Violent Ape Out Has Been Slightly Delayed

TTgowings

I will never understand how you throw a unfinished game out and then say oops well it was almost there...then wait for the inevitable day what patch to fix what they didn't in their bumbled first beta release, how old is this getting ?? Just stop already, if you're game isn't done then it isn't ready for release..let alone public consumption..
