What gets me is people think because someone lists something on eBay that’s it’s value. I saw a Wrestling double dvd for £1349 - usually goes for about £20…. Clearly no one will pay that and yet they had a load of not even Rare stuff for hundreds and thousands. It’s sold items that tell you the value. Until this item sold it’s price is irrelevant

Agree with above two aren’t overlooked…. But gems I agree….

So many good 3rd party games on gamecube…. So many of them Nintendo only bods overlook too.

This is probably my fave console. (I might pick Wii above it only coz you can play gamecube on it so I might as well have the wii stuff as a bonus).

@RupeeClock you missed the point. It’s not playable. Game preservation is more than just know it exists the point is making it playable for the masses.

@RupeeClock yeah but they might as well be in my sock drawer if no one can get at them. No need to hide games away they don’t degrade if you let people play them…..

Game preservation is so important and unfortunately we can’t trust Nintendo to take it seriously.

@xiao7 amen to this. They are a horrible grubby little company. I suspect they send out a lot of freebies to keep all the media outlets onside. Most of their loyal customers and I was for years have jumped ship now and do try and warn others

@Grim my single ones arrived this week although I ordered them a year ago…. And so did the double packs…..that were much cheaper and two games on same cart. Literally double cost less than one….. LRG is a scam at this point. Save your money.

I received my limited run Star Wars games this week….. they were order months and months and months ago…. Like ages…. And also received the same games in a much cheaper double pack….. that were released after and half the price…. Just wait for the proper shop release

@JohnnyC lmao. “Rockstar games always drop in price” - based on what? We only had two games in just over generation and both held the value massively. RDR2 and GTA V.

Whilst I agree with your sentiment. In this case every version of this release is terrible.

@Maxz it’s not guaranteed but if you aren’t greedy you can almost certainly protect yourself from any loses (certainly big ones) you need to be calm. You need to not ever panic. Don’t ever invest money you need for something else and you need to pay attention. Having a set of your own rules and sticking to them is the way forward. Don’t get caught up in hype and break your own rules.

The service is a shambles compared to any other sub service gaming or Movie/TV.

I remember these games very fondly but very different from many of you.

Completed this on Xbox many Death Stars ago (that’s no moon) - 30hours and a bit and I regret not exploring more or indulging in side games and quests as much as I could. I tried replaying on Xbox BC and struggled but I think I’m handheld mode I’ll over come the struggles I had and get back into this world. I’ll pay £11 digital and hope this and KOTOR 2 end up in a physical double pack like the upcoming ones.

It really is a great game.

@dewokkel you played it then? Which one you tried are all three? Docked or handheld? What’s the biggest issues.

@themightyant I think it’s naive to think devs aren’t lazy. Police people are lazy at times, Doctors, Refuge collectors, Teachers, Shop workers…..

Everyone is lazy at times and some people are just lazy at work and have bad work ethic and just coast… dunno why the word lazy triggers so many people…. Loads of stuff is lazy…. People don’t have often the highest standards in their own work. They’ll do just enough. It’s a fact of life.

@EVIL-C I believe 90% of the issues are down to being cheapskates but to skip the files and not remove them is on the dev and is lazy….

@Dr_Corndog what? Removing the files or not in this case is just lazy…. I’m pretty sure a executive didn’t insist the dev left the files in and skip them…. In fact I think going on past legal issues the executives will be most unhappy….

It’s a shame we aren’t allowed to call devs lazy…. Coz this isn’t lazy at all…

@ModdedInkling well that too but I meant more when they release an item like this or the N64 expansion online - it’s the bare minimum…. You know…. I feel they could have with little effort thrown in another few roms and versions on this and it cost them next to nothing…. I don’t believe it takes lots of people months to add and test roms on a machine like this. Most of us have done similar at home.

They could have thrown in the extras suggested in the review.

Also on the online n64…. The Nintendo owned exclusives should have been the bare minimum for launch imho. Again this would have broken the bank and many more of us would have signed up.

It’s about creating goodwill for me… I love Nintendo and when the n64 controller is back in stock I’ll will trump up for the expansion… just feel it’s always bare minimum.

Second comment but I do feel, and I’m a massive fan of Nintendo but they do always seem to do the bare minimum. I feel now and then they could push the boat out - especially when some of the frustrations are things that would be minimal effort for what would be to the fans massive.

No regrets with purchase but I do agree an extra few roms on here wouldn’t have hurt…

Mine arrived today with bonus cloth and going under the tree for Christmas for me, gone all out this year… Xbox series x, extra controller, 1tb expansion too… and some boba Fett adidas stuff… I might be too old for “big present” but who cares

What did people expect…. That looks like GTA 3 with better controls to me. Exactly what I expected.

I’m gonna wait until I see more of the game in action before I believe the unwashed masses online. The agenda to hate on these games was clear from the start.

Will they be perfect no. Is it the absolute disaster people are saying. Clearly not. Like most things rockstar these days…. They’ll be decent but overpriced.

But the over blown comments here will at least entertain….

@BongoBongo the gaming industry is terribly naive. Just look at Forza - a big exclusive by MS - the financial whack they have and the legal teams and they can license the game so they don’t have to delist in 6 years time….. they are either naive or want to actively not preserve games and force you to play new versions.

Like you say movies don’t have this problem and games shouldn’t too.
