There are quite a few limited edition stores that have found success in the Switch generation, catering to the collector and physical copy enthusiast market. Premium Edition Games is certainly one of the smaller outfits in this space, but has had some interesting releases and is about to launch its 'series 3' of releases.
They were confirmed in the video above earlier this month, with the following three titles all going live soon on 16th November at 9am Pacific / noon Eastern / 5pm UK / 6pm CET. For each there'll be a Standard Edition at $39.95USD with a manual and slipcase, while below are the Retro Editions at $59.95USD, which will be limited in quantity but have extra goodies.
Of those three games we were big fans of Phoenotopia: Awakening, awarding it a hearty 9/10 in our review. Both Cathedral and Mighty Fight Federation also got recommendations with a 7 each in our reviews, too.
Are you tempted to add any of these to your collection? Let us know, as always, in the comments.

I will be getting Cathedral for sure!
I'm quite looking forward to both Phoenotopia and Cathedral, and will give Mighty Fight Federation a go.
That last game has a surprising number of guest fighters in it.
Phoenotopia it is!
I absolutely NEED the Phoenotopia one. That was the absolute best game I played last year. I hope we'll hear something about the developer's next project soon...
@r4ind4nce phoenotopia apparently didn’t sell all that well sadly.
Their next project will not take that long I think.

Let’s hope the physical edition will boost their sales again!
I really like the Handdrawnguides so Cathedral is calling me. I wish those books hadn’t been cancelled
Phoenotopia is one I've been waiting for. I've had the Switch version on my eshop wishlist for a while, but I hate buying digitally unless I give up on a game ever getting a physical version. Hoping I will be able to order the retail version from Canada.
Nice! I love Phoenotopia: Awakening! Will definitely buy it again physically.
@r4ind4nce I'd emailed the developer some time back and he told me that his next game is gonna be much smaller, but hopes to one day do a P:A sequel.
@KimBread wow, thanks for the info! Too bad we won't see a direct sequel anytime soon. I hope their next title will at least have a similar vibe. The ending of P:A left a lot of things open for a follow-up to tackle though. But man was this game cozy. I loved all the little details and secrets in it.
I normally wouldn't buy a game twice but I would love that Phoenotopia manual!
@r4ind4nce Same! I already loved the story/gameplay/humor, etc., but all those little details and secrets are what made the game top tier for me.
Phoenotopia is an amazing game! Sadly, some people struggle to play it(It was kinda easy for me tho). An amazing mixture of zelda 2, zelda botw and wonderboy. Totally worth it.
@Friendly good to know! Breaks my heart to hear it sold so badly though. I think I'll nab myself a Steam copy on top of things then to support the dev some more.
Phoenotopia is a wonderful game, it really hurts knowing it wasn't successful.
Cathedral and Phoenotopia are on my to-buy list, and I do like physical editions, so this is exciting to see! Unfortunately, it's just hard for the bargain buyer in me to pay up for these when I can wait for their next digital sales and likely pay $10 and $15 for them, respectively. I'm in no hurry given my backlog and I'm not much of a collector so the extra goodies aren't a draw for me.
Phoenotopia: Awakening is a lot of fun despite it's flaws.
