@davey1983 Since announcement of Bandi Namco, I bet they’ve been working on it consistently for a while, their games launch pretty quick. Thank god it’s not Square Enix, it wouldn’t be out until 2020!
My wife and I each have a system. We game more than when I had a PS4. She hardly ever touched it. With the Switch, she’s started a list of games we should get for us and the kids.
Microsoft wants to work with Nintendo, EA doesn't, Microsoft buys EA, solution in our favor? Time will tell. I hope 'soft brings in better business managers than EA currently has, because they STINK.
Was their any other announcement for Prime 4 other than the one at E3? The reveal said “now in development.” Sounds pretty vague to me. They could’ve started in 2016 for all we know. If it comes out in 2018, cool! If not, I’ll keep playing my current titles and save up for a collectors edition version of Prime 4, and or a pro controller??? OOOOOO
Addictive behaviors, personalities, these people have addiction to other things, many gamers smoke and drink soda by the gallon, both addictive consumables, just add gaming, maybe gambling, and binge watching favorite Netflix shows. Gaming is just another item to add to the list. I expect TV movies to be added to the list next. Let’s not stop with video games if that’s how they want to play it. Don’t be selective.
@Whopper744 I truly believe Super Mario Odyssey is a great exercise in brain stimulation, change up of the puzzles, environments, and how to overcome obstacles require a great deal of out of the box thinking.
The fact you can have four people in the same room playing on one system, rather than having four people on four separate game systems, making the electric meter spin like a top. This is how Big N has been bringing it for years. It’s even better with the titles they have for Nintendo Switch, each one has been a smash. They’re killing it with quality over quantity, and I love them to death for it.
VC would’ve lapped the classic edition sales if Metroid and Star Fox titles were released on Nintendo Switch, among other games. They also would’ve avoided 3rd party resellers and scalping issues. Or it would’ve stayed to the Switch only and not two other consoles.
Let’s slap more stickers on the Odyssey! I’m definitely up for it. I just got Odyssey on Sunday. 63 or so Power Moons in the Tank. I’ll be heading to World 4 once I find more in Bonnington. The outfits are where it’s at, and Mario looks great!
A Switch box is about as heavy as a box of dish detergent, it’s not cement. Just soap! The package shouldn’t describe contents. The only person who’d know is the person who packed it. Would’ve been seen by a few people if they had to get soap and replace the Switch box. Unless no one else was in the warehouse. But at this time of year? It’s peak season for shipping. I still have nightmares from holiday loading boxes for UPS in College.
@Heavyarms55 Some of us Westerners actually read the article here on Nintendo opening its doors to mature titles coming to Nintendo Switch. So this doesn’t surprise me. the people you are referring to make up 1% or less of Western population. A much larger percentage either doesn’t know about the game or doesn’t care. Unless copies are brought to the west and Gamestop sells physical copies, It will just be another obscure title added to the Nintendo Switch catalog. Frankly Scarlet I don’t give a damn!
I’m going to hit every Target near me at 10pm on Friday night looking for the Marked Amiibo box. Being married with 3 kids, one no longer needs a social life!
I like her take on the whole throwing money at fruit to make it grow. I didn’t even download the game, had thought about it, but not into that style, maybe later on. With the Nintendo Switch and the portability, If it wasn’t for ARG phone games, I’d probably go back to a Nokia tiny phone as I don’t do much other than surf the.web and text.
Okay, for the last 2 decades, is the bond between master and trainer constantly brought up to the point where they can’t quite explain how it works, it just does? So Ash and Pikachu have been friends since the very very beginning, they’re sharing a life and death moments together all the time, and people getting mad over Pikachu speaking English? WOW! Maybe in their most excellent moment together, and let’s face it they do it in almost every movie, pretty formulaic, they decide to make a creative change in that Pikachu is speaking from the heart to Ash, totally sharing with the audience an intimate moment of their friendship, my first thought was oh my god that is so freaking cute, not oh my god why did they make Pikachu speak English???? He’s also not the first Pokémon to speak English, verbally or telepathically. It’s called a creative decision, which writers, directors, game developers have been doing for years.
If you want to live in a world of constant sameness. Don’t eat anything but Applebee’s for the rest of your life, and watch reruns of Star Trek the Next Generation, and let the rest of us, who are also fans, enjoy these little heartfelt touching moments, and not have to put up with nerd rage...
@Heavyarms55 I’ve seen posts of smaller retailers on Facebook breaking street dates with Mario Odyssey and DOOM. Unfortunate to the smaller stores in return as the later shipping might have an impact on inventory at launch. Maybe? I’m not in supply chain so unsure.
@Prof_Yoshtonics seeing the art, it’s crazy how Daniel Radcliffe and Harry Potter look so much alike in the earlier films. Later the hair gets weird in the movies, but in 1 and 2, pretty cool. But I definitely agree, they need to use the source material from the books, and not so much the movies...
Shulk price on the internet is all over the place, if Amiibo is anything like Zelda BOTW, expect him to hit a solid $75-$80 easy right after the direct.
This is a F2P title on mobile. I’ll check it out first there. I’m curios to see if this is the same on Switch, I don’t see a physical copy incoming because of that, unless they model differently?
I want to see Air Mech hit Nintendo Switch, shump style builder MOBA! It has mechs!!
It’s Doom without being stuck on the couch, or at a desk! Now you can play it at Starbucks, buy espresso, and get super caffeinated before grinding up demons with a chainsaw! What’s not to love about that??
I hope they know that isn’t a static curve, it not like I’ll stop playing video games at 45... However, priorities and budgets do change, if you have kids, drastically! Better start making those core DX games now big N, before I need to start saving for the kids going to college!
I’m partially through Mario Kart, Zelda, and Pokken Tournament. I plan on getting Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Metroid Prime 4 2017/2018. Wife plays Zelda mostly, so I find other games to play. But yeah too many great games, that’s a very good problem to have!
