Lost all interest, no matter how great the remasters are, I won't be buying it anytime soon. But I do wish it does well, so Rockstar would consider releasing games for the Switch in the future too.
Definitely going to buy, whether it is a day one purchase depends on how the physical version is. Still haven't completely lost all hope for all games on the cart. If it does need a download, I'll wait for a sale. Not paying 60e for a digital version nor a physical version with a required download.
@SpringLand I noticed that as well. I kind of hope it's true since then we'd get all the games on the cart for sure. But I wonder what have they cut (if the 13gb is true) in order to get the size to be that small.
@BlackenedHalo I think it achieved the cult status because of its visual style and the story, also because of the subject matters it deals with. There really is nothing quite like it. Agree on the gameplay, though. It can be dreadful.
But I am not here to convince others who have tried the game to like it. If it's not your thing, then it's not.
@russell-marlow I don’t know if there’s a market honestly, there could be. But if you do wanna try the game, steam has a demo for it, I personally found it a little bit easier to play on a controller, but your opinion might differ. And if you do give it a try, don’t be put off by the gameplay straight away, try to give it some time but if you can’t get into it, then I suggest just to avoid the game.
I’m usually not that into Visual Novels, but I love Silver Case, there’s just something about it that I really like, the story grabbed me in from the very first minutes. The actual “gameplay” can be somewhat clunky and the design choices are questionable at times, but never really affected my enjoyment at all. Oh, and the soundtrack is AMAZING!
For someone who is not familiar with the game can someone explain how the game works ? Can you play the entire game without buying any DLC ? Is the DLC purely cosmetic, or do you need to buy it after a while to progress in the game.
Wow! Fantastic! I hope more digital-only games will be getting physical releases. I skipped Crysis due to it being digital-only, now I've got no reason not to buy it.
@BenAV Wait, what ? I was so tempted to get this. But yet another physical copy with only half of the game on the cartridge!? Thanks for telling that, because I had it pre-ordered but I cancelled it now. Going for Mario Golf instead then.
Was really tempted to get this, but no physical copy will be available, so sadly I am skipping it. Shame because the Sniper Elite games got physical copies.
I am really hyped, not exactly sure why. Could be that last year was somewhat boring gaming wise, that the hype has been building up for at least a year now.
But I am still keeping my expectations somewhat low, but I think there's going to be at least few surprises.
Something I'd really like to see is a Mother collection. Mother 1-3 on a single cart. Also a new F-Zero would be reeeeeeeeally nice.
When this came on and I saw Switch mentioned, I was thinking to myself, there's no way this is gonna run on a regular Switch, and for a split second I believed that this was the first game that was coming for the 'Switch Pro'. But then I saw cloud mentioned...
When I saw this ad online, I knew straight away that people would think they meant a new Switch model instead of just, well, a new switch.
While the rumours seem to be going strong around the new model, I doubt Nintendo will release any info about a new model before their E3 presentation, or even shortly after.
This is obviously all happening because this was supposed to be the update that makes the new Switch pro and old Switches share eShop etc, but the update broke downloads on the old switch /s
Hope this doesn't become a thing for Nintendo. I basically refuse to buy games digitally, unless it's digital-only but even then it really depends on the game.
@Kidfunkadelic83 This is gonna be really controversial, what I am about to say. While I don't think R-Type Final 2 is the best SHMUP on Switch, but what I noticed that it's actually rather beginner friendly, it has a practise difficulty which is honestly easy, if you know how to play at all.
It really allows you to learn the maps, and where the enemies come from, but it's not that cheap, so I'd probably wait for a price drop if you're not that into the genre.
It also has a demo on eshop if you wanna give it a go.
The game has a lot of performance issues on Switch, but for whatever reason, I kind of enjoy these janky games. One of my favourite games last year was Disaster Report 4, now that game ran horribly on every platform but even more so on the Switch, but that didn't stop me from enjoying it. Interested to see the reviews for the full game.
I love The Silver Case, hopefully it's gonna be available physically in the West, otherwise might have to get the JP physical release. Also, the soundtrack is just pure brilliance.
@Medic_Alert I totally get what you mean, I'm almost the exact opposite. I hope they don't change the core-gameplay too much. Because to me, Splatoon just feels so great to play. I'm very rarely into shooters these days, but I can literally spend the entire day playing Splatoon without getting bored.
But, even with all that, I sort of hope lots of changes too, to bring back those people who might've gotten bored of Splatoon already. Something for everyone.
@Medic_Alert Give it some time, when OG Splatoon was announced it was only gonna be a multiplayer game, and people thought it wouldn't be worth the price. I'm sure it will have loads of new stuff
I'm even more hyped for this than BOTW 2. I've put more hours into Splatoon 2 than any other game in my entire life. If BOTW 2 and Splatoon 3 both arrive in 2022, it's seriously gonna be one of the best years for Nintendo. I wonder what game they will have in storage for us this Holiday season, if that turns out to be the case. Also, if anyone thought I forgot about Metroid, while I do hope it arrives this year, at the earliest. I still think it might be a 2023 title.
@Shadow_Dancer The game can get a bit confusing at times, as it doesn't always hold your hand. Although, if you happen to get lost, you can always talk to Nettie and she tells what you're supposed to do, but doesn't really tell how.
I personally always thought the different locations in the game had a lot of variety.
@Mynemo Ditto. It does say it's alpha footage, so I'd remain hopeful. The thing I was most worried about, is that they'd mess with the open-ended design of the game. That's one of the main reasons why I like the game, as it doesn't hold your hand all the time.
I would love to see both Star fox Zero and Devil's Third on Switch. Star fox without the gamepad implementation would be amazing. And Devil's Third for a more stable framerate. I honestly don't know how many actually played Devil's Third, but I thought it was a good game, but the framerate was really atrocious at times, and definitely its biggest downfall. Multiplayer was where the game really shined, but the playerbase wasn't there.
@Joker13z I'd be surprised if they skipped physical. I think they haven't said anything about the physical release, because it's pretty much the norm to have games released physically, unless it's some indie title. Which Saints Row 3 is not.
@Charlie_Girl This is true. And the way you put it made it funnier. But I still do think that games shouldn't be censored, even if they have, what you call salacious content. But I understand why certain games get censored, and I generally have no problem with it, long as it doesn't affect gameplay.
@rushiosan I'm somewhere along the same lines with you, I wouldn't rank it that high up. But I was definitely very skeptical about the game before release, and got positively surprised how good the game actually is. My main complaint still is, that the game can become very repetitive, combat wise especially, but I was able to solve this issue by just playing the game in smaller bursts, which is fine. Boss fights are a highlight for me.
@alasdair91 I don't know how successful these games are in the West, but pretty sure in this case Japan is seen as the priority, as that's where the biggest market for it is ? Also, if the dialogue in the game has idioms or such, it takes more work to translate them. It's actually a longer process than you'd think. And it might not actually even be done in-house.
And I am saying this as a person who has done translation, pretty much my entire life, but from Chinese to English.
I'm happy for him, he got to work at Nintendo, which is probably something every game dev wants to do at some point. But he followed his own passion, which is making games he wants to make. Very excited to see what Fumoto's next project is like.
@abbyhitter I doubt, this one's more of a spin-off title, although set in the same universe. Personally I think you're good to go even without having played the original ones. That said though, keep in mind this is vastly different to the previous games.
@RevampedSpider Season pass or not, if it's a physical release (your definition may vary), you get the game physically, whether it's a disc or a cartridge. It's misleading marketing, they should call it a game code instead. Getting season pass cheaper is a nice plus, but why bother with an empty case.
Wanted to get the signed copy, but already sold out, like mentioned. Got the collector's edition instead. But I do agree pretty much with everyone about the game looking really rough, and unpolished. I'm trying to keep my mind positive about it, but with every new video, I become more and more worried. Genuinely hope it get's supported so we'll get NMH 3.
Aw, man. I wanted this to be a good port. As I do think, if you're capable of making the game run decently, it can actually be a lot of fun. Here's hoping some sort of patch could address some of the issues.

Re: Review: The Silver Case 2425 - Style Over Substance In This Pair Of Early Suda51 Epics
@Teenny372 What's wrong with the review ? The reviewer is very aware of the fact that the game is clearly not for them. Good review for a good game.
