Re: Police Confirm That YouTuber Desmond "Etika" Amofah Has Died

Skyla

This man was such a personality, such a soul brimming with energy. Etika was truly unlike any Youtuber out there. And here we read this sad news.

I really hope we can all learn a lesson about what social media can do to an individual. I don’t use much of it myself, mainly because of my fears of its negative aspects affecting me negatively. Such mental breakdowns and suicide is a serious issue, and us as a society need to exercise knowledge and be proactive about what causes it and how we prevent it. It takes a group to make such a difference, and the need for action is strong and immediate.

My deepest thoughts and prayers go out to Etika’s family, friends, and fans. He will truly be missed. Rest in peace, my friend- today we mourn a true legend.

Re: Feature: It's Time To Lay Down Your ARMS

I picked the game up only last year, and in the relatively short time I’ve played it, I’ve been enjoying it’s unique concept and sense of style. A shame it never reached the highs Splatoon did, but I applaud the team for squeezing all the life they could out of it.

Besides, one game is enough for a character from said franchise from being in Smash, no matter that fate of the franchise, right Ice Climbers?

As soon as that puzzle piece dropped...

In all honesty, I can’t remember a Smash reveal better than this. Just seeing Nintendo and Rare doing something together again- it’s surreal.

We love you, Microsoft.

Re: Review: Goat Simulator: The GOATY - A Mildly Amusing Waste Of Time, But Not Much Else

The real shame of it all?

I bought it. I decided to give it a fair chance. And boy, oh boy. I regret it badly.

It did not even keep me busy for an hour before it bored me to death. I understand there's a strict target audience for it, but man, why do the trailers make it look so fun?

Please don't buy it, at least not at this asinine price. Take it from me, doing my job for the better good of Nintendo fans.

Re: Japanese Poll Discovers That Vast Majority Of Viewers Were Pleased With The Nintendo Direct

At first, I was pretty underwhelmed by the Direct, as the one big thing for me was Mario Maker 2.

But then I stopped to think- games like that, Link's Awakening, and the numerous potential third-party gems revealed are additional games to an already loaded Switch lineup for 2019. This year is easily shaping up to be the best year for it, by far.

And there was no 3DS games. I can't begin to tell you how refreshing that was.

Re: Nintendo Direct To Air Tomorrow, Wednesday 13th February

I actually thought the Direct would not be this month. I was thinking an early March Direct would be happening, like on the first of March. Not like I'm complaining, of course.

Give me Prime Trilogy and Joker gameplay, and I'm satisfied. But of course, I'm always pumped up for surprises.

When I was very young, I had this game on my Nintendo DSi XL. I got to the Durmite boss, and I simply could not get any farther. I sold the game, but I am super hyped to beat it for good within this remake. And yes, for context, that does mean I beat the carrot minigame, which was nightmarish in the original.

On a side note, this might be the final game I get for the 3DS, unless I get Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn. I just won't get games I've played before, consistently, unless they are Switch releases. But if you don't have this game, please, give it the attention it deserves.

And who knows? Maybe we'll see a Partners in Time remake for Switch!
