I have the Chromecast Ultra, it is great for streaming movies/3pm football games etc. so I can certainly recommend that.

That is a poor comparison.

Smash released with a tonne of fighters and the extra paid content is DLC not microtransaction lootbox gambling scummery.

Good luck to you with Stadia. I have been dismissive of its chances in the past (still am to be honest) but I admire anyone willing to give it a crack and try out something new.

I will probably get the PS4 version to be honest as there is no way I am paying full price for a simple roster upgrade.

I do enjoy the faster gameplay of the Switch Fifa's but I worry about the strength of the online player base on Fifa 19 for Switch so will move over to PS4 this year.

Sales are a third lower for NBA 20 than 19 so that is something.

Although even I have my weakness for sports games that include microtransactions. Case in point being Fifa but I never go anywhere near FUT or spend a penny more than the original price of the game. I am happy just playing online seasons mode.

Grow up. I was just stating why Nintendo wouldn't release their games on Xbox not whether I want them to or not.

But just so you know I absolutley do not want them to and I don't think Microsoft should have either. Exclusives are extremely important for consoles and just look at the situation Microsoft have created because they release a few of their games on Switch. Everytime they release a new game people will ask why it isn't on Switch and will start yapping about it. Microsoft have created unneccessary confusion by using this startegy that was born out of pure desperation due to the poor performance of the Xbox One.

Again, Nintendo owe them nothing.

Nintendo don't have to give anything back. Xbox One was a disaster this gen (why have Microsoft never revealed hardware sales?) and they have been trying everything to claw themselves back.

Things like backwards compatability and Gamepass wouldn't have happened if they had Sony levels of success and putting games on Switch is just another attempt to recoup money. Microsoft were desperate. Nintendo always sticks to its guns and even when they have a disaster like Wii U they never forget the importance of their first, second and third party exclusives.

Nintendo owe Microsoft nothing.

Have to say I can't see it being that much of a seller.

The game has already had its day in the sun and the likes of Fortnite have taken over .

This is just an observation as I have no interest in any game like this.

Agreed, they suck. At least Nintendo have described it as "Free to Start" so there is no doubt but I would rather this monetisation system just didn't exist.

Unfortunately clearly there is a lot of people who are happy with it and happy to keep paying.

Yes it is, I didn't say it wasn't.

I consider DLC as content that properly expands the game like the extra tracks in MK8 or extra story DLC with hours of content.

I consider microtransactions as buying horse armour or costumes or whatever rubbish currency a game has given itself to pay for lootboxes or costumes etc. I despise the practise of microtransactions and will never support it.

I can support DLC if it is done right.

Nintendo embracing the mobile free to play mechanics on their mobile games is awful and I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. If they show their face on full priced Nintendo console games I am done.

MK8 DLC was worth the money in my opinion but the day microtransactions start showing up in mainline Nintendo console games is the day I stop buying games.

On this website maybe not but with a lot of Nintendo releases it says on the eshop that it does not support cloud saves only to be changed closer to release.

Luigi's Mansion 3 was the last one people were worrying about it on reddit but it now states it supports cloud saves.

No problem with that. Exclusives sell consoles. Microsofts problem had been it had hardly any worthwhile exclusives this gen but now they are working on that they want to keep their future exlcusives on their own console, same as Nintendo and Sony.

I near feel compelled to buy the game just because CD Projekt Red and Saber Interactive have put so much effort into this and aren't cheaping out.

Fair play to them.

This review is overly harsh, an easy 8 for me. I am loving the game but wish the framerate was a bit more consistent, still lightyears better than the original's framerate though!

Also there is an issue when you turn quickly the walls pop in from a white background which can be an immersion breaker. Hopefully it gets fixed in a patch.
