Re: Site News: Nintendo Life Turns 20 Today!

My go to website every single day! Nintendo Life has its own character and feel-good vibes! The supporter programme is great value for money (especially with how instrusive ads are these days). Thanks for a great 20 years!

Re: Feature: What's It Like To Attend Gamescom 2025?

Great article! I’ve always loved a games show ever since I attended World of Commodore and The Future Entertainment Shows in the early 90s. EGX scratched the itch for many years until that went downhill. I may consider attending this one at some point.

Re: Poll: Should Nintendo Release A Digital-Only Switch?

RetroBillyT

We have 2 switches in our household. I buy all the major first party releases physically, which means we can share them.
It would be great if a digital purchase allowed you to play using multiple accounts/switches, not the convoluted system they have at the moment. Until this is fixed, I’m begrudgingly sticking with the game cards.

I really like the tone of the writing at NintendoLife- you can tell that the lovely people who write for it have a passion for their subject matter. The tone is cheery but at the same time up to date and informative. I think it is s good idea to have more out of hours news, and I REALLY like the idea of a Nintendolife Podcast- yes please!

Re: GAME Offers Buy One Get One Half Price Tomodachi Life Deal

RetroBillyT

Same offer is available on physical copies in store. Buy one for £34.99 get one half price. They were confusingly stickered as £17.49 if bought with qualifying product, but I checked with the assistant and the qualifying product is a full price copy of TL. I'll buy the download codes from their online store...

Re: Parent Trap: StreetPass Makes Social Networks Social Again

RetroBillyT

An interesting take on Streetpass. I have two young kids and I can definitely see your point about it being a 'friendlier' way of social networking, it is quite a compelling activity. The only thing I would say is when they're older, and could take their 3DSs by themselves, whether I could trust them to not lose the things. Account system please Nintendo!
