My go to website every single day! Nintendo Life has its own character and feel-good vibes! The supporter programme is great value for money (especially with how instrusive ads are these days). Thanks for a great 20 years!
IMO this free roam update is BIG news, it would be great if the information was reflected in the article headline- otherwise some people may just think it’s ’just another update’.
Great article! I’ve always loved a games show ever since I attended World of Commodore and The Future Entertainment Shows in the early 90s. EGX scratched the itch for many years until that went downhill. I may consider attending this one at some point.
It’s always nice to play the games with the original controller if it’s an option. Feels more authentic when playing the games for that particular system.
I had the best Easter holiday ever in the Scottish Borders playing this with my brothers and sisters! Probably the best party game full.stop. N64 Online please!
We have 2 switches in our household. I buy all the major first party releases physically, which means we can share them. It would be great if a digital purchase allowed you to play using multiple accounts/switches, not the convoluted system they have at the moment. Until this is fixed, I’m begrudgingly sticking with the game cards.
@Gs69 I was like you when it came to Japanese eShop cards, but i took the plunge and bought a 1000 yen one from Play Asia. I got it emailed straight away and it worked fine! I'm now playing Outrun on my Switch and it's very nice!
I really like the tone of the writing at NintendoLife- you can tell that the lovely people who write for it have a passion for their subject matter. The tone is cheery but at the same time up to date and informative. I think it is s good idea to have more out of hours news, and I REALLY like the idea of a Nintendolife Podcast- yes please!
It would be great if you could also publish the text of these videos- I like to have the flexibility of being able to read or watch! Your content is great, but I prefer reading. Thanks.
One of the things that makes Nintendo unique and not just like every other videogame brand is that they have a strange inability to change and modernise. it is frustrating, but also kind of quirky- I kind of like it
@maneauleau: ditto- although I have learnt more from this well written review, hard facts on the Wii U version seem hard to come by...and the screens do look a bit pre-rendered?
There's definitely something in this. Another reason for a higher percentage being sold to 18-25 year olds, especially in SSB's case may be the higher age rating than most 1st party 3DS titles.
If the GamePad worked as well as a tablet, then yes, they should push it. But in reality, it has poor resolution and no capacitive touch screen. I think nintendo would be conning a lot of people. Okay for off-TV play but not as an IPad replacement...
Same offer is available on physical copies in store. Buy one for £34.99 get one half price. They were confusingly stickered as £17.49 if bought with qualifying product, but I checked with the assistant and the qualifying product is a full price copy of TL. I'll buy the download codes from their online store...
@McHaggis I see where you're coming from. I have stayed away from day passes because for me it would lose the 'pick up and play' nature. I would always be pondering whether to lay down the cash each time to play...
Not sure why there is always so much hate for Wii Sports Club. At £9 each I would say they are pretty good value for money and look a log better than the Wii version ...
My 8-year-old bought it with his Xmas money a couple of weeks ago, and has had a lot of fun with it. I played a 2-player game with him yesterday and it was enjoyable enough... A good one for the kids!
Kind of disappointing , but bear in mind that there is a sales boost accross the board at Xmas, so although Super Mario 3D World may only be at 29, it could be selling a lot more than some of the higher-placed games did earlier in the year...
An interesting take on Streetpass. I have two young kids and I can definitely see your point about it being a 'friendlier' way of social networking, it is quite a compelling activity. The only thing I would say is when they're older, and could take their 3DSs by themselves, whether I could trust them to not lose the things. Account system please Nintendo!

Great article! I’ve always loved a games show ever since I attended World of Commodore and The Future Entertainment Shows in the early 90s. EGX scratched the itch for many years until that went downhill. I may consider attending this one at some point.
Re: Mario Kart World Has Been Updated To Version 1.2.1, Here Are The Full Patch Notes
I feel they need to patch in a checklist for the open world- that would make it more compelling.
Re: Review: ANTANK S3 MAX TV Dock Station For Nintendo Switch 2 - A Decent Little Travel Dock
Keep reviewing third party peripherals please- it is good to know what else is out there! Make up your own mind whether it is worth buying.
I personally have just bought another official dock for the other TV- bit pricey but worth the piece of mind for me.

Re: Video: Pretend You Are Playing Out Run On Switch With The Help Of This Overview Trailer
Bought and played! I used Chris Scullion’s Tired Old Hack website guide to help me set up a Japanese account:
https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/tiredoldhack.com/2017/04/14/how-to-buy-switch-eshop-games-from-different-regions/amp/.
This is one of my favourite games of all time- and this version appears to be the real deal!

Re: Video: Nintendo UK Sets Its Sights Firmly On The Youth Market With New 3DS Advert
I like it. I'm a parent myself and understand the value you get from a £30 3DS fame compared to a cheap or freemium (throwaway) iOS game.
