@RainbowGazelle Exactly what I thought. I didn't think much of it when I saw that they replaced xiaoyu with kazuya since the father son rivalry between them could create some interesting dynamics. But then the fact that chun-li and estelle were replaced was a little unusual to me. I'm hoping this doesn't mean they are removed completely but are instead paired with new characters.

Lilian Chen/MilkTea has my utmost respect. I'm glad she participated in the smash invitational or I never would have discovered such a strong female figure in gaming.

Nintendo seriously needs to up their name game.

All I want from this is stronger storyline than gates to infinity.

The fact that this isn't being developed by WayForward is interesting and a little concerning. Personally I can't stand the visuals in the trailer, they look really 'ugly-3D-licensed-game-of-a-2D-Franchise'.

BUT does it have multiplayer this time around? Spontaneous multiplayer was what made the first game on wiiware even remotely fun. It'll be a huge missed opportunity if they once again opt for little multiplayer support like they did with Rumble Blast.

Looks like an isometric mix between A Link between worlds and Wind Waker.

It bothers me that they decide to use the image of Lucina under the guise of Marth for her poster. It makes it feel like the message is that you can only be strong if you portray yourself as a man, and that's the complete opposite of what they're trying to promote here.

Hopefully us male style savvy fans get the option to play as a male this time around. I never got the previous 3ds style savvy game, but I was pleasantly surprised by the sheer amount of work and polish that went into the first game on DS. I finished the game and I'm not even that into fashion.

If this means new support for this old game, I might just start actively playing it again.

EDIT: Just looked a bit closer and i found a code. But not for Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire, but a code to get something for the pokemon trading card game online. The thing that I don't even play. Well thanks TPCi.

Alright I just realised that my pokemon trainer club account isn't set to the US but some other country and I cant change it. Oh well, if anyone has a spare code then..

it was a bit sad to see things like event match not included in the 3DS game. Hope to see them in the wiiU version.

Didn't like this video at the beginning. It just felt so clear that she was reciting lines nintendo gave her. But it started feeling a bit more genuine when she started talking about tomodachi life and some of the other games, which was nice

The demos been great so far! Would've been nice if the club nintendo version had its own special features like online similar to how the heroes of ruin demo had online.

With the abysmal sales that tekken tag 2 garnered on Wii U, I'm not surprised they brought it to arcade and haven't made plans for a wii u version.

Will this really be the game to save the WiiU? I sure hope so. You've got my contribution hopefully others will follow. I'm buying the 3ds version too just to see what its like. I really hope its not too uncomfortable on a standard 3ds screen. People say that even on the XL its a bit jarring to focus on everything onscreen.

I'm digging mega altaria though. It's not as overly designed as other mega pokemon and just packs that simple look I loved in most of the earlier pokemon designs. Plus it looks sugary delicious!

well hopefully people find a way to pirate the game on jailbroken ios devices complete with each and every separately paid episode for free, since it's been done so many times before, so that this version garners abysmal sales. Maybe then Capcom will think twice before pulling this kind of crap on us.

Also, can't wait to see whether or not they fix the grammar mistakes dual destinies suffered from. If they don't well then we'll know how much capcom truly cares.

i like renegade kid's 2D platformers and all, but I think they need to ditch the pixelly retro-esque look for once. I'm usually a fan of this sort of art style, but they've kept this style for all their games to the point where it isnt very special anymore and has become a bit of a turn off for me.

@FilmerNgameR probably because HG and SS came out after Brawl was released and by the time smash wiiU and 3DS came around HG and SS weren't current enough.

@torotoid64 well I just assumed since N's Castle sort of sprung up around the league building in black and white, the same thing would happen here after a certain amount of time had passed, which is why the castle itself isn't seen in the background of the screenshot. I'm just speculating though.

Also if anyone else was wondering whether or not milotic may have been a miiverse post translation error(I can't be the only one right?), it isn't, it says Milotic in the original japanese post too. But that begs the question - why Milotic????

the one problem I have with Bravely Second is Magnolia Arch's design. She looks way too devilish and evil looking. Those red eyes though? Up until just recently I thought she was the main antagonist of the game based on one of the screenshots (I think she was wearing a purple outfit in that one???). Hate to be a stickler but she better have a good reason for looking so mean, cuz right now she just looks like she just had her demon army burn down an entire village for her much to her enjoyment, and not like a relatable main protagonist that we all love.

i'm gonna have to say spirit tracks. The game just felt so endearing to me and just wasn't like any other zelda game. Link and zelda shared such great chemistry in this game, even if this incarnation of zelda was a bit anime girl-esque, I still loved them and most of the other characters in it. A highly underrated zelda game. I recommend anyone who hasn't played this game go and get yourselves a copy right now. Ocarina of time you can step a side, cuz spirit tracks is gonna run you over otherwise.

I literally flinched when she said this and not "3DS" and "WiiU" I was like "gurl, did you just say what ah think you just said?" This was a fear I had from the very beginning of both the 3DS and wiiU launch where I was afraid that consumers and children alike wouldn't be able to fully comprehend the BIG difference between the systems, and that they would just believe that it's the same system.

On topic; It really warmed my heart to see miyamoto and ishihara interacting with these kids and showing off these games. It seems like everyone genuinely had a lot of fun. just goes to show how much nintendo care about us, the consumers. You go Ninty!

I was shaking my head the entire time. has it really been that long since the gameboy was released??? I wasn't too surprised at when 3 of the kids all mentioned going back to an ipad or an apple device after playing with a gameboy. I literally just screamed "NO." when the kid referenced an iphone case. just....what. Really appreciate the Fine bros. making this video

Totally agree with the thing about releasing too many games in a short span of time hurting the series' sales in the west. my reaction to seeing the third game in the eshop was literally "what, already? another one??"

was a bit worried and confused when people like ign started comparing it to animal crossing. I played the original on ds and I loved it, though I think it's nothing remotely similar to animal crossing in the slightest. I'd say it were more like The Sims meets Nintendogs with miis.

so out of every project in past kickstarter project nintendolife features, how many have actually been sufficiently funded for? would love to see OMORI come to 3ds.
