Here are my predictions according to leaks and rumours:

Probably with Mario this time. Rayman is a great character, but if you want people to buy this DLC, it kinda has to have Mario in it.

We haven't seen Rayman since 2013. So, almost 10 years with a sign. Maybe, if we are lucky, this Rayman DLC might peak interested in some people to see Rayman again in his own adventure. I personally wouldn't mind a 3D platformer. 2D would also be fine.

I kinda wished they would have used the art style from The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse.

The evil team looks a bit… generic. The NPC models don't really stick out that much compare to previous ones. But their leader is kinda okay. I wonder if she becomes the next waifu for Pokémon fans.

Boy… after all these years and the only thing we get is the most basic title for this film.

Retro has so many ideas and concepts, but in the end they're just the Metroid Prime Team for Nintendo.

Nice to see another lemur Pokémon. The only other one is Passimian from Sun & Moon.

They really wanted to call it the PlayBoy? Of course they would have done that...

Interesting, that they put Yooka-Laylee on the cover. Nothing against the series, but that isn't the first games I would think of, if I here the word “Jump'n Run”. Mario, Kirby, DK, Rayman, Banjo-Kazooie, Conker, Earthworm Jim, even Sonic, as bad as his games can sometimes be, are bigger names.

This is still to me one of the weirds lassuits I have ever heard. I do not think that Pokémon stole that spoon idea from Uri Geller. I'm almost sure I have seen that spoon trick in another cartoon. Sadly, I can not remember which one it was.

The art style looks so familiar, but I can not tell where I have seen it before.

When I first saw her, I thought she was a boy first. I'm glad that Nintendo confirmed that Shiver is officially a female.

Looks solid. Hopefully it is as good as BfBB.

You run around in this big open world and have to find some big bosses, similar to Shadow of the Colossus. If you defeat them, you get a key that can open a portal to those high speed special zones. If you manage them, you get a Chaos Emerald as a reward. The Chaos Emeralds are the main collectable in this game.

Well, although Sonic Forces was a disappointment, people still bought it. Sonic is way too popular to fail. If Sonic 06 couldn't kill the franchise, Frontiers will also not.

I miss the normal Nintendo Directs…

This game has to compete with God of War: Ragnorak and also with Pokémon: Scarlet and Violet. Let's hope that there are enough Sonic hardcore fans left that will buy this game.

This character reminds me of the forest spirits from Princess Mononoke. Everything in this game seems to take inspirations from other games and media, except from Sonic. Breath of the Wild, Shadow of the Colossus, Xenoblade, Princess Mononoke, etc. And if they add something from Sonic, it is the same recycled ideas to remind people of Sonic's glory days in the 90s.

Wait… since when do legendry Pokémon have pre-evolutions?

Let's hope that he can finally give people a reason to be interested in Sonic Frontiers. The only ones that will buy this game anyway are those hardcore Sonic fans that support Sonic until death and beyond.

These are some very questionable choices. I get why they did this with Sonic. He is their mascots, he is popular and well-known around the world, and the series still prints money. Space Channel 5 and Comix Zone could be good films. They have potential, but it still feels so weird.

The artwork reminds me of Shadow of the Colossus. Actually, this game reminds me a lot of other games, except for Sonic. Breath of the Wild, Shadow of the Colossus, Xenoblade, but not really Sonic. Anyway, Sonic fans will be happy with it.

This show has to be good, or at least decent. Sonic is now in a new era. Fans call it the Multimedia era. SEGA puts a lot more focus on other media for Sonic such as films, TV shows, comics, and web series. I mean, Sonic always had multimedia on the side, but they never really overshadowed the games. Now, it seems, that the games more the secondary aspect to the Sonic series. The films are decent, the IDW comic is actually wonderful, and this TV show will be also okay for a modern kids show.

Let's just bring the game out first.

Wow, Big the Cat and probably also Froggy are also in this film? They are really pushing these characters hard. I have seen them popping up more recently than Rouge, Blaze, or Silver.

The only good one in this bundle is Sonic Mania, and even that game is only 1/4 new, the rest is recycled elements from Sonic's glory days.

Time sure flies by quickly. Too bad, that we will never see a proper Sonic Mania 2. These guys, that made Sonic Mania, surely have talent. They could have done a game with only new level and enemy designs.

To be honest, if it is true, that Shiver is non-binary, it wouldn't feel that special, because Nintendo officially created already a handful of non-binary or transexual characters in the past. It doesn't matter, if the west has changed it to fit with their beliefs at the time. Originally, characters such as Birdo and Vivian were created before people turned social justice into the next hip thing.

Well... if Nintendo refuses to do another Paper Mario, I will happy to buy this one... if it is good of course.

Doesn't matter. Sonic is still very popular. As long as you keep his design, people will buy everything with Sonic on it.

I'm all team cave girl. Yeah, a very stupid reason to prefer this game only for a hot cave woman, but look at her! Don't tell me you wouldn't like to club her over the head and then drag her back to your cave.

The films are fine, but SEGA really should focus a bit more on the quality of the games. Sonic is still a video game character at first, unless they want to turn him, like Disney did with Mickey Mouse, more into a brand character.

SEGA can consider themselves so lucky, that they invited such a popular character, that fans are willing to buy just everything with Sonic on it.

Disney owns so many characters, but when it comes to crossovers, they use the same ones again and again. At least Wall-E and Remy are getting some love. Haven't seen them in a while.
