SpawnWave on YouTube has a recent video detailing the process, he says it's easy. Not much to lose if you are not going to use your Joycons in that state anyway.

Is still not right as you said and makes reasonable for people to think they are pushing some kind of agenda.

Whatever the reason, I don't see why we should "side" with them (unless, Devolver isn't telling the full story, showing the correct reason for the ban, etc), wether it's from an agenda, incompetence or (maybe) just wanting them to pay more for privileges.

If they algorithm doesn't work and they appeal doesn't work either, just don't ban things.

I'm on Saturn but I play solo, mostly because I have the freedom to explore maps when I need (and capture those Simaris targets).

I need plat for Warframes slots and a clan for the dojo but typing in the virtual keyboard is a hassle and audio chat is not an option for me.

Warframe, Wolfenstein and Doom says hi. Those can run rather fine so don't bring that up... And as far as I know it doesn't run well on anything so it's not a bad port because "it's to big to be on Switch".

The service will be AAA microtransactions driven, free to play like games that are not free, just like battlefront 2 ( or at least until they provoke another scandal and have to backpedal ).

Physical games probably won't go away ever but they could end up like those Limited Run games, the exception instead of the norm ( and mostly just to please collectors).
Look at physical magazines vs digital, Netflix vs Blockbuster, etc.

Dragalia Lost came out after that statement and it has microtransactions. Mario Run was their last (and only) free to start effort but it underperformed and has been surpassed by their free to play efforts ( in revenue).

Maybe that rating is mostly for it's story, maybe you'll need to look it up ( don't ask me tough, I haven't play it, it's just an idea).

I'm in a family plan, costed me less than a good meal ( and same as 2 cheap ones) for the whole year. It's also way less than what I pay for Spotify in a year.

Also, it was paying for online or not playing the games that I already own (that's the biggest selling point people, I know, it's not pretty), like Splatoon and Monster Hunter.

You do have a point. If Monster Hunter GU is any indication, this game will be filled with really bad textures (MHGU is super fun though).

I would also prefer the whole series in a single package but they will charge US$20 for this, right?
All 3 at that price will be the same (price wise) anyway.

SNES had the same button layout and came before them, technically they are the odd ones just because they don't use "the standard".

Anyway, Japanese use circle as Accept and X as Cancel ( search "maru and batsu") so X for accept is still kinda bad.

The thing here is just that Nintendo players are used to a different layout and they should use that as default, no real excuse to have a different console standard.

Edit: I kinda want to know how was this topic handled in the Monster Hunter series, being it huge in Japan, initialy in PS, later ported to West and finally changing to Nintendo consoles.

On topic, not a very helpful "guide" as monsters encounters also depends on quests, would be more helpful to list quest prerequisites to level up your hunter rank ( or a drop rate and prerequisites for each monsters).

I don't think DB Fz is goty material.
On the MH subject, controls, movement and all that are clunky since the beginning of the series, it's not because it's a ported 3DS game ( with buckets upon buckets of extra content).

Anyway, clunky? Yes. Does that works for it's formula? Yes. A big part of classic MH is knowing when to do things, if you go in mindless of your environment and your enemy then you'll die very easily.

Classic MH is hard, clunky and not newbies friendly but it is a lot of fun regardless.

Capcom should have released it here when it released in Japan though ( a lot of time before MHW), but that's Capcom for you.

For people that want videos, in YouTube, Gaijin Hunter has a lot of MHGU videos and Arekkz Gaming too ( not sure if any of those are for beginners).

Projared has some old begginers videos for previous MH but at least the basics of the game are the same so those might be of help too.

Funny to have "Step four: .. you attack with X and Y..." Then an image of a black Diablos charging a hunter...
