Isabelle may be the cutest thing to bound out of Nintendo HQ since Kirby's oversized shoes, but one thing's for certain: she has an absolutely terrifying dark side.
Since her inclusion in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, we've already seen Isabelle team up with Villager to shut down the game in a not-so-friendly glitch, and she even found a way to channel all of her anger into spawning infinite Waluigis. Now, scientific investigation has revealed that her net-catching antics are on another level entirely, with each swing of the net actually decapitating her victims.
This little trick can actually be performed by either Isabelle or Villager; simply catch an opponent in your net, pause the game, and use the camera settings to zoom in on your prey. It doesn't work 100% of the time, but you'll usually find that the character has lost their head and arms, leaving their distorted body behind for you to creep yourself out with.

I believe this is done to prevent the character's head from clipping through the net. ^^;
I have to try this out. It's too funny not to.
Is anybody actually playing the game, or is everybody just looking for unsettling glitches? :3
This isn't new either, other characters in previous Smash games already had to do this to prevent clipping.
@WolfyWardark Actually, I believe it is done as a display of dominance to intimidate other potential challengers.
This is actually pretty normal/common when doing char models or rigging
And Wario makes the characters head small when he is chewing them, looks super funny.

This was probably “discovered” long before the original poster did. I one day was fighting Incineroar as Isabelle and decided to zoom in, only to find his arms and head shrunk into oblivion.
Still hilarious, though. Glad to see it get a bigger spotlight

I have always known Isabelle is the true face of evil. She's too omnipotent, knows too much, is involved in everything. There's no way she wasn't really going to turn out to be the big bad by the ACNL True Ending.
