Isabelle Net Glitch

Isabelle may be the cutest thing to bound out of Nintendo HQ since Kirby's oversized shoes, but one thing's for certain: she has an absolutely terrifying dark side.

Since her inclusion in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, we've already seen Isabelle team up with Villager to shut down the game in a not-so-friendly glitch, and she even found a way to channel all of her anger into spawning infinite Waluigis. Now, scientific investigation has revealed that her net-catching antics are on another level entirely, with each swing of the net actually decapitating her victims.

This little trick can actually be performed by either Isabelle or Villager; simply catch an opponent in your net, pause the game, and use the camera settings to zoom in on your prey. It doesn't work 100% of the time, but you'll usually find that the character has lost their head and arms, leaving their distorted body behind for you to creep yourself out with.

You can see it all in action below in this video from Master0FHyrule on YouTube; as pointed out in the video's description, the trick was originally discovered by Adaly Debest.

Isabelle there, ladies and gentleman; giving you cuddly dreams of wonder and haunting nightmares of pure horror in equal measure.

Will you ever be able to look at Isabelle the same way again? Will you be showing off this trick to terrify your friends? Let us know below.
