@GiftedGimp So issues across the board then, marvelous!
@JaxonH I was thinking of buying Blacklist, when they fix it I will.
ZombiU didn't sell well so obviously they do have problems selling their games, you can advertise all you like but the games generally still have to be great to sell consistently.
I'm not surprised that Ubisoft hare having communication issues with Nintendo to be honest, if someone delayed an exclusive title for my console and then decided to go multiplatform with it... I don't think that I would speak to them either
@Marshi There's a lot of "must haves" even if you discount the "exclusive titles" stuff like Blacklist, Deus EX and Watchdogs that should be the definitive versions of those games due to the GamePad features.
I have read via Miiverse that Blacklist has issues, I also bought ZombiU which also has a few issues that should have really been fixed, I know people who don't even play it anymore because of the "judder", so maybe Ubisoft need to focus on what they are doing before spouting off about Nintendo?
@Marshi I guess that we will see how "die hard" these Bayonetta fans claim to be, I know that most people on the internet are "all talk" usually but judging from people's reaction, Bayonetta 2 should shift some units. Maybe a Bayonetta bundle in the future?
@unrandomsam PES Playmaker was the best in the series and probably the best football game that i've played for a long time.. real shame that we won't see a HD version with all the features of the PS3 and 360 versions..
Come on Konami, with EA out of the picture you can mop up!!
@belmont There are PLENTY of football fans that just buy anything with their team on it. Without the full official license FIFA wouldn't sell so well.
Pro doesn't have a full license, only some teams and leagues, even in CL mode there are BIG CL teams missing amongst other leagues and national teams.. EA essentially have it all, it's a closed shop.
Yes I know it is but the reason why the game sells is obviously because of Criterion who make the game, EA just publish it, any company can put the money up there and publish the game.
@belmont Do some research on EA, secondly FIFA sells because it has an official and exclusive deal with the majority of the top leagues in the world, why make a decent game when you can slap an exclusive, official license on and people will still buy it?
Secondly Criterion Games (of burnout fame) make NFS, EA simply bought them out and essentially publish the game.
@Sceptic Lets not pretend that people are getting on EA's back for simply making a business decision, we're hardly in Bayonetta 2 territory here.
EA have been a sh*t stain on the industry ever since they turned up in the 90s when they "acquired" a "rogue" genesis dev kit, that was then used to blackmail Sega into letting them make games for that system on their own terms.
First off they call the Wii U a "crappy console" and expect people to buy their games for the system (did the same thing with the Wii) then decide to "take their ball home" because of the origin thing. They've even been caught out blatantly lying about the consoles capabilities..
Very strange business decisions by EA, first off they call the Wii U a "crappy console" and expect people to buy their games for the system (did the same thing with the Wii) then decide to "take their ball home" because of the origin thing..
Now EA seem to think that when the Wii picks up (obviously someone has seen the new games that are coming out) they can just cash in.. Grrrrrrrrrr!
I'm really not bothered about multiplayer for this game to be honest, not every game needs it. I'm not too fussed about the price either as 360/PS3 owners have to pay extra for online features anyway. The gamepad features more than make up for that for me..
@WaxxyOne Turbo is basically an expansion pack of Champion Edition, it was only released down to hacked arcade cabinets at the time (Black Belt Edition etc..)
It's pretty much the equivalent of releasing Sensible Soccer + Sensible Soccer 1.1 + Sensible World of Soccer. Don't know why they didn't go Turbo, SSFII, ALPHA 2? Would have offered a more comprehensive experience of the street fighter series on the Super NES..
It's good that 3rd party games are being mentioned but wouldn't say bigging up the new splinter cell game be more advisable than old games that nobody wants?
The 2GB space is definitely tempting me to acquire WW via the eshop, bit ultimately it depends on if i see the physical disc anywhere online for a cheaper price...
I spoke to a guy from Two Tribes via twitter regarding the Web Framework, he didn't seem overly impressed with it, he did say that it may be useful for rapid prototyping but I got the impression from him that it's mainly going to serve as a portal for mass shovelware,
@mrkuribo Turbo and SSFII are both worth picking up but if i was pressed then i'd have to say SSFII. I'm not sure why they bothered with World Warrior though, as it's essentially the same game as Turbo but without all the extra characters and features.. I would have prefered to see Street Fighter Alpha 2 instead, the Super NES version was mightily impressive.
@Platypus101 In all fairness, you've had plenty of time to save up for these, plus Nintendo did announce that MPT was going to be a limited release, prioritize or lose out I'm afraid..
But even in saying that, $80 is disgraceful, I've noticed that Pandora's Tower is also creeping up in price now..

Re: Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara Delayed Again on Wii U
They got the SFII games up pretty sharpish..
Re: Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara Delayed Again on Wii U
Thing is, there's devs and there's devs..
Re: Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara Delayed Again on Wii U
I thought that the Wii U was incredibly easy to develop for, I Wonder what the problems are? Hmmmmmmm....

Re: Video: Snazzy New Trailer Shows Off Wii U Exclusives
@Doma Quite the opposite, infact Nintendo need more of these teasers, I genuinely forgot about some of those games due to the 2014 release dates.
Re: GameStop Sales and Profits Take a Hit Ahead of Vital Shopping Period
Doesn't sound like that consignment of Xenoblade Chronicles has been a big seller..
Re: SEGA Genesis Shooter, Steel Empire, to Get the 3DS eShop Remake Treatment
@sinalefa It was a decent game but not the best shoot em up on the megadrive by a long way..
3D TRUXTON, HELLFIRE, GYNOUG or THUNDERFORCE would be a lot better..
Re: Video: Snazzy New Trailer Shows Off Wii U Exclusives
I seriously forgot about most of those games..
Re: Boxed Copy of New Super Luigi U Available This Sunday in North America
@Falco I heard that GameStop are selling them for $80.00 each
Re: Nintendo Download: 22nd August (North America)
My money is ready.... for RECCA
Re: Talking Point: Gamescom Announcements Raise the Stakes for the Wii U and 3DS
The free copy of FIFA for Xbone pre-orders in the UK is genius, the Premier League has just kicked off and there's a World Cup coming in june.
Football Manager for Wii U would be a perfect fit, Mii and Miiverse integration would tip it over the edge..
Re: Review: Summer Carnival '92 RECCA (3DS eShop)
@Cloud-San-VII RECCA doesn't have a "aim assist" option does it?
Re: EnjoyUp Games Bringing Shmup, Codenamed Project Aguraki, to the Wii U eShop
Can people stop saying "Shumps"!!
Re: Video: New Trailer Blasts Away Confusion Over Summer Carnival '92 RECCA
I am going to pick this badd boy up! (I added another "d" for extra baddness)

@Shiryu I like to blow things up with style, grace... and if possible a grammatically correct term or parlance..
Re: The Wonderful 101 Reportedly Shipping Just 30,000 Copies for Japanese Launch
@Nintenjoe64 Oooooo that would be great, MPT and the "Operation Rainfall" collection..
Re: EnjoyUp Games Bringing Shmup, Codenamed Project Aguraki, to the Wii U eShop
Old school...
Why do people insist on saying "Shmup"? It's almost as bad as "SNEZ"..

Re: Video: The Wii U Difference Ad Campaign Continues With the "eShop Sandwich"
Most people need to get over themselves, for a start making silly analogies in a smug manner has been pretty popular with UK standups for a while now.
Secondly I don't think that the Americans can be so quick to judge when it comes to comedy...
Re: Video: The Wii U Difference Ad Campaign Continues With the "eShop Sandwich"
Nintendo have always made naff ads for the UK, I take it that nobody has seen the Rik Mayall ones then?
"Nintense
Nintelligent
Nintendo"
Re: Video: The Wii U Difference Ad Campaign Continues With the "eShop Sandwich"
Mmmmm retro cheese...
Re: Review: The Wonderful 101 (Wii U)
From what I gather from other reviews, it's being marked down for having a learning curve..
Re: Nintendo Download: 22nd August (Europe)
@Boxmonkey Soon I hope, I want to upgrade my copy of Sin and Punishment.
Re: Review: Donkey Kong (3DS eShop / NES)
@StarDust Just because it's slightly better than a bunch of other crappy ports does not mean that its a good port.
Re: Animal Crossing: New Leaf Maintains UK Momentum As Pikmin 3 Continues to Fall Away
Pikmin 3 has done well to be fair... bodes well for the more revered future Nintendo titles.

I'm not sure why Nintendo insist on releasing these terrible arcade ports? The NES has games far more deserving of a VC release...
Re: Capcom Reiterates Stance On Further Disney Remastering
The only Disney game that i'm interested in, hope they do more. Rescue Rangers was awesome..
Re: Soapbox: 'Vintage' Used Game Prices Do Nothing to Encourage Customer Loyalty
No one to blame but the people who shop there, anyone that buys Xenoblade or MPT for $80.00 has more money than sense quite frankly..

If people want these games so badly then why didn't they buy them when they were released?
