Re: Four New Titles Added to Wii "Nintendo Selects" Budget Range in Europe

@WiiLovePeace But I didn't even know that FIFA 14 even existed until a few hours ago, I was in a state of bemusement!

Oh, well different grass textures... that'll be well worth the £39.99 price tag, I love those grass textures

Actually, the visuals for the last couple of FIFA games on Wii were absolutely shocking, they would be an embarrassment for a PS2 even!

@unrandomsam I think that console versions of Zool had to undergo a few changes from the Amiga game due to RAM limitations. The Super NES version was pretty buggy as well.

The Megadrive had almost the exact same CPU as the Amiga 500, so ports of Amiga games ended up being better in general than the Super NES.

I will update SMB from VC to eshop, also Toki Tori 2 looks like a good deal. I like these discounts as so far I've picked up Nano Assault and Trine 2 for a song. Happy Days!

Does anyone know if D&D has had all the bugs fixed?

@Jared1984 The PS4 at £349.00 isn't that bad and will probably sell a lot more than the xbone at £429.00.

The £3DO launched at £600.00 I think and that was back in the 90s, EA had no problem fully supporting that console BTW, they had no worries over lack of sales there, even though they only sold like three units lol

@AyeHaley Totally agree, wait until the big hitters are out before declaring the system dead and buried.

The Wii U has actually done pretty well to sell what? 4M units with hardly any Nintendo games and flimsy 3rd party support, did the 3DO ever reach that with full support from EA?

If memory serves me correctly then during the first 8-9 months of the GameCube's release it's game library was very different. It's a stark contrast really.

As far as the big 3rd parties go, I don't think there is any "winning them back", they just don't want to develop for a Nintendo console, regardless... The quicker Nintendo move on the better.
