@Unit_DTH I get no enjoyment out of saying this but I really think that Wii U owners are going to very disapointed. I'm not expecting anything more than BLOPS II with a new lick of paint. I'm tempted to just stick with BLOPS II as the only incentive for Wii U owners to get Ghosts will be dedicated servers, but how long before that gets pulled?
This "full support" from Ubisoft and Activision has been a bit of a joke hasn't it? I decided to take a "wait and see" approach regarding 3rd party games while ago, Deus Ex was a very nice surprise
I don't know about a buyout, but a Nintendo/Disney collaboration would be a very smart move indeed. Especially if Nintendo were allowed to make Disney games. Imagine a disney pack in game with a Nintendo console that's also available in Disney Stores? Nothing but money..
The Wii U VC library is pretty pathetic if I'm being honest, early/launch NES titles, When you're getting stuff like RECCA on the 3DS? "REALLY, really?"
I stopped taking notice of reviews since "Mean Machines" went out of print, but If you like the look of Sonic Lost World then try it out, 7/10 isn't a bad score..
@unrandomsam Thunderforce IV was released late 1993 like I said, pretty much everything released before then will work, obviously Konami + Capcom games wont (the Capcom games that were reprogrammed by SEGA do work though) and trying to play games that were only optimised for PAL regions on an NTSC machine is not a good idea, which is common sense really.
Obviously, not all games will work but a large portion of the Megadrive library does and vise versa.
Actually Sonic 3 is region locked, but if you use it in conjunction with the Sonic and Knuckles cart, it runs perfectly.
@FishieFish They also work on the SEGA Genesis, anything released before late 1993 should work (Except games that were published by Capcom or Konami, they are all locked out).
It didn't last very long as I think that SEGA stopped locking games in mid '94?
This could be the best Sonic game we've seen in years.. I haven't been remotely interested in the series since Sonic 3 came out, Lost World has me intrigued..
Interestingly enough, Blacklist and Rayman Legends were heavily discounted on Amazon UK, they've since gone back up to pretty much full price now.
@element187 I agree with you on everything apart from the "mediocre" part, If it was released when it was supposed to then it would have sold a lot more as back in Feb as the Wii U had about as much choice as a Welsh fish and chip shop.. Rayman Legends really would have stood out..
@rjejr They should learn how to port games properly then, generally it's not a smooth ride playing Ubisoft games.
The fact that they stated that they had problems with the Wii U hardware after numerous devs came out and said that it was incredibly easy to develop for, that doesn't fill me with confidence regarding Ubisoft.
Regardless whether this is true or not Sony are still starting to look a little desperate these days, financially they're in a mess, the Vita is failing hard and losing them even more money so they need to do something with it.
It's going to be interesting to see what happens because if the PS4 doesn't completely dominate then Sony could be in big trouble..
No poopiedoodlecacapoopsiedoodoopoop, Rayman probably would have sold a lot more in Feb than actually releasing it when they did.
Splinter Cell should have been a much better port for the money they were asking for it.. (the 360 and PS3 versions were not great performance wise either which is why it probably didn't do very well).
I do like to support third parties and I've bought four ubisoft games, I'm not buying anymore.
Despite having no Guy and no Industrial level (and no glass breaking bonus stage), for obvious reasons, the Super NES version was still a pretty decent port .
I'd love to see Final Fight Guy on the eShop though..
Not all Wii U owners are paying over the odds for this game, its actually a very fair price in other territories. What you should really be asking is why is it so much more expensive in the US?
I'm pretty tired of listening to people saying what Nintendo should and shouldn't do. If people want 3rd party games so bad then buy a 3rd party system.
The majority of 3rd party games are what's actually giving the Wii U a bad name right now, yet people seem to be wanting more?
@ikki5 It's amusing that people were outraged by the rumour going around that EA may be charging $80 for "next gen" games when a lot of 3rd parties are already doing it...

@Unit_DTH I'm expecting BLOPS II but with a Ghosts sticker slapped on it...
Re: Alien Haters Rejoice, You'll Be Able To Blast Xenomorphs In Call Of Duty: Ghosts

Re: Super Castlevania IV Is Coming To The North American Wii U eShop In Time For Halloween
Fantastic game, one of the best Castlevania games ever. I remember when this came out, it was a big deal at the time.

Re: Wii U Isn't Getting Need For Speed: Rivals Thanks To Low Sales Of Most Wanted
I think that the 3DO actually had more support from EA than the Wii U... that's quite funny.

@MadAussieBloke Is "poopiedoodleskin" a new genre of gaming?
Re: Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut Is A 14GB Download On Wii U
I buy games on disc primarily because they tend to be a lot cheaper than on the actual eShop.
£56.00 for Blacklist is like a slap in the face when you could pick it up at Amazon for £24.99.
Re: Interview: SEGA On Bringing Sonic Lost World to Wii U and 3DS
The Wii U version of Sonic Lost World scored 36/40 on Famitsu.
Re: Rayman Legends And Splinter Cell Blacklist Both Sold Less Than Expected, Says Ubisoft
@element187 $60 and Unbisoft still expect you to pay for DLC that's already on the disc.

The game is good but the quality of the port isn't, apart from Rayman Legends I've been pretty disappointed with Ubisoft,
Re: Monster Hunter 4 Surpasses Three Million Sales in Japan
Nintendo need to get this on Wii U, the more "must have" exclusive 3rd party games the better.
Re: Review: Final Fight 3 (Wii U eShop / Super Nintendo)
I predicted a 6/10, I'd still go with the original though. The sequels are not good at all..

Urban Champion...
Re: Just Dance 2014 UK Commercial Lands Ubisoft And Nintendo In Hot Water

£23.99 in the UK, loving that!
