Re: Alien Haters Rejoice, You'll Be Able To Blast Xenomorphs In Call Of Duty: Ghosts

@Unit_DTH I get no enjoyment out of saying this but I really think that Wii U owners are going to very disapointed. I'm not expecting anything more than BLOPS II with a new lick of paint. I'm tempted to just stick with BLOPS II as the only incentive for Wii U owners to get Ghosts will be dedicated servers, but how long before that gets pulled?

This "full support" from Ubisoft and Activision has been a bit of a joke hasn't it? I decided to take a "wait and see" approach regarding 3rd party games while ago, Deus Ex was a very nice surprise

I'll definitely be picking up Deus Ex for £23.99

The Wii U VC library is pretty pathetic if I'm being honest, early/launch NES titles, When you're getting stuff like RECCA on the 3DS? "REALLY, really?"

@unrandomsam Thunderforce IV was released late 1993 like I said, pretty much everything released before then will work, obviously Konami + Capcom games wont (the Capcom games that were reprogrammed by SEGA do work though) and trying to play games that were only optimised for PAL regions on an NTSC machine is not a good idea, which is common sense really.

Obviously, not all games will work but a large portion of the Megadrive library does and vise versa.

Actually Sonic 3 is region locked, but if you use it in conjunction with the Sonic and Knuckles cart, it runs perfectly.

@FishieFish They also work on the SEGA Genesis, anything released before late 1993 should work (Except games that were published by Capcom or Konami, they are all locked out).

It didn't last very long as I think that SEGA stopped locking games in mid '94?

Re: Rayman Legends And Splinter Cell Blacklist Both Sold Less Than Expected, Says Ubisoft

Interestingly enough, Blacklist and Rayman Legends were heavily discounted on Amazon UK, they've since gone back up to pretty much full price now.

@element187 I agree with you on everything apart from the "mediocre" part, If it was released when it was supposed to then it would have sold a lot more as back in Feb as the Wii U had about as much choice as a Welsh fish and chip shop.. Rayman Legends really would have stood out..

Re: Rayman Legends And Splinter Cell Blacklist Both Sold Less Than Expected, Says Ubisoft

No poopiedoodlecacapoopsiedoodoopoop, Rayman probably would have sold a lot more in Feb than actually releasing it when they did.

Splinter Cell should have been a much better port for the money they were asking for it.. (the 360 and PS3 versions were not great performance wise either which is why it probably didn't do very well).

I do like to support third parties and I've bought four ubisoft games, I'm not buying anymore.
