It's Saturday once again, which means we've made it all the way to the end of yet another week. This week brought with it a Wind Waker revelation in Zelda: Breath of the Wild and news of a special Armoured Mewtwo making waves in Pokémon GO, but now it's time to sit back and talk about our weekend plans.
As always, we've done just that below, and we'd love for you to join in via our poll and comment sections. Enjoy!

This weekend, I'll be kicking back with a bit of Animal Crossing: New Leaf. It's been an awful long time since I last played, so I dread to think how many weeds will be lying around... Still, I've got a lot of packing to do for my holibobs next week, so I need something relaxing!
I'm also thinking about diving back into Axiom Verge. Those who know me know I love a good Metroidvania, and Axiom Verge is undoubtedly one of the best!

This weekend I'll be splitting my time between the steampunk platforming and puzzle solving of Another Sight and the semi-open-world giant battling of Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle. The latter is like a mashup of Spider-Man and Monster Hunter and I can't wait to take this extended version for a swing.
Red Faction: Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered still has its Martian claws in me. The prospect of destroying every building I encounter elevates even the most forgettable of missions. I love open worlds on Switch, so this is really scratching an itch for me.

Growing up on the SEGA side of the tracks, Nintendo’s last gen was where I addressed most of the yawning gaps in my gaming CV – obvious stuff like Zelda, Animal Crossing, Pokémon and Metroid which I came to adore despite sometimes arriving at them relatively dismissively. So it’s appropriate that my 3DS is powered on for the first time in 14 months, as I finally dive into Dragon Quest VIII.
My previous Dragon Quest experience is minimal – I played about 30 minutes of DQIV at one point in the distant past – but with the imminent releases of the Smash DLC and Dragon Quest XI S, the impulse to understand Japan’s national video game has finally become too big to ignore.

This weekend I’ll be playing catch-up (as usual) with various games already downloaded on my favourite Nintendo-branded handheld hybrid video games-playing device. Specifically, I’d like to finish Gris. I've played an hour or two already and that game is a relaxing tonic of a platformer - just what I’m after.
On the other end of the platforming scale, I also want to dive into Super Mario Maker 2 and sample some creations, so I’ll be hitting the Nintendo Life Community page and downloading some of your finest levels. After completing 100% of Story Mode, I fancy trying Endless Mode – after watching Alex take on some Super Expert courses, I’m eager to see how many I could get through. In fact, I’ll probably do that first and then calm my blood pressure with Gris afterwards. At some point I'll actually build something with it, too...

Completely out of the blue, I find myself entirely hooked on a game called Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2!! and will no doubt squeeze in the odd half an hour or so whenever I get the chance this weekend.
It's not the type of game I'd usually go for, but I'm very happy that I decided to load it up and see what it was all about. It brings back horrible memories of the time I worked in a ridiculously stressful coffee bar, but somehow makes the frantic mess of keeping on top of people's orders really fun. There's something immensely satisfying about pulling off a whole ten-minute bonanza of button presses without making a single mistake and I keep going back for more.

The Summer of Switch continues this weekend with more Super Mario Maker 2, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, SEGA AGES: Virtua Racing, Mortal Kombat 11, Crash Team Racing and ARCADE ARCHIVES Ninja Spirit because old age is dulling my reflexes and that is simply unacceptable. A little bit of FIFA 19 is also in order because I want to play out both the Women’s World Cup and Copa América finals.
On that note, my game of the week goes to Psyvariar Delta. Reviewing duties put this oldie back to my weekly gaming rotation in a big way. I wonder how much wear and tear I’m doing to my arcade stick to get those ships rolling… or my left hand, now that I think about it. I need that one to play piano chords.

Smash. Mario Maker 2. Maybe some Splatoon. And, if I'm lucky, Bloodstained on PC.
It's a very Nintendo-heavy weekend for me.
Mario Maker 2. I'm going through a depressive funk right now, and honestly MM2 is the only thing keeping me distracted. I'm not the best at making levels but I love playing all these creative courses everyone else makes. Was gonna stream today but I think I'll stick to Mario Maker.
Smash, Crash Team Racing, Spider Man PS4
I've been playing Darkwood and Fox N Forests (physical copy from Strictly Limited Games) for the past week or so, but I'm taking a break from them this weekend because I managed to score one of Limited Run's physical boxed sets of Outlast & Outlast II for a reasonable price on eBay; so I'm playing Outlast this weekend... I also may have purchased a physical copy of Paw Patrol: On A Roll in case I need a light hearted break from Outlast. No joke XD
Been a little busy this weekend so mostly just Terraria and will finish off Nekopara Vol.3.
I'm back on Zelda BOTW for the third time though and having a great time going off in a different direction to start with, oh and only 90ish shrines to go 😂😂😂
I also picked up Mario Maker 2 despite not being a huge fan of the original but already this seems a lot better. I'm really enjoying playing the story levels and some of those created are just amazing. The new 3D World looks stunning so hopefully they bring that game over at some point, though it does also highlight how bland the art style is for the "New" series and it really sticks out when you play a level with that. All of the others look amazing and Mario World in particular looks gorgeous. I can see me playing this one for many years to come and if Nintendo see sense and adds the ability to make worlds then this will probably be the best Mario game ever
Mario + Rabbids Donkey Kong DLC, had the urge to buy it for a year already, but expected it to be on sale sometime. Since that didn’t happen I bought it anyway and it’s worth every penny and more!
When that’s done I will hop in some levels in Mario Maker 2.
Mostly playing final fantasy III at the moment
Been playing through the Spyro games 100% on PS4, but I have started getting back into Splatoon 2 Salmon Run. Still the best part of Splatoon 2 as far as I am concerned with the exception of the dlc.
@Jin15 My 3 year old daughter loves paw patrol, and I’ve been debating getting this game for her. Not expecting a be all end all, but is it any good / worth it? Don’t wanna drop $30 only for her to get frustrated due to glitches or hard to play.
Also my list for the weekend - Graveyard Keeper, Bloodstained:ROTN, and maybe some Vesperia or City Skylines.
Very busy weekend.
Wil try to get into virtua racing, Mario Maker, and ctr.
Have a good weekend all!!!
Crash team racing. I love the game. I love Mario Kart too but this is kinda more satisfactory after succeeding to reach 1st place on medium(haven't tried hard). Also, couple of minutes rocket league and maybe smash. It is great to do these gaming bursts with those games. Thinking of continuing dark souls, but in coop. Last time online was kinda dead. Only couple of invaders from whome I lost, of course. It is a great game, but crushing after reaching certain point(without finding a bonfire before) and then dying. I have a love-hate relationship with this game. Ds3 was much more accessible(for me anyway).
Actually dug up my old Pokemon Emerald cart earlier this week, and started a new game the other day, so I think I'm going to continue playing it this weekend. May play more Super Neptunia RPG if I can get around to it.
Hmm.... 🤔
This weekend i might play :
1. Portal Knights (PS4)
2. Override Mech City Brawl (PS4)
3. The Sims 4 (PS4)
And maybe i will play these if i still have enough time :
4. Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu (Switch)
5. FF X (Switch)
@Xelha Yeah, Valor LS and HBG are rather godly. I can solo the G Elders with ease on those, and have nearly solo’d Ahtal Ka with HBG. Crazy crazy. I need more practice with Adept LBG, one of the few weapons I haven’t gotten 100+ kills with yet. Lances and Horn being the others
Mario Odyssey
Slay the spire
Baldurs Gate
Mario Maker 2.
I was getting a little fatigued with Mario games and platformers in general. My favourite genre and series since the NES days. This has helped me explore and try new things.
But this game with its fresh approach to levels based on themes (gimmicks, but the word sounds harsh) has reinvigorated my admiration. It’s so much fun.
Maybe now I can be interested in games like Celeste again.
@carlos82 I’m playing through the game for the 3rd time as well. A feature that I’m utilizing more now is the Hero’s Path feature on the map screen. It really changed the way I play the game and has lead me to some spots I would have never seen otherwise.
Crash Team Racing/Virtua Racing on Switch and just starting Wonderful 101 on Wii U. Hopefully its good....
Assassins creed 3 - my first AC game and I’m quite enjoying it although the cut scene to gameplay ratio is a little slow at times.
I am wanting to play my switch but having some issues. Not sure if anybody can help?
I fell asleep the other night with the battery on 1% or something low and it was completely dead when I woke up.
I obviously went to charge it but it only ever displays the charging symbol in the top left corner but doesn't actually charge. I've tried charging it for many hours to no avail
Feels like losing a limb having the switch out of action so I am trying anything to not send it to Nintendo for a few weeks. Any ideas?
Finally grabbed Axiom Verge on sale. Love the music! Also tossed in Bleed and Bleed 2. Lots of side scrolling this weekend. If I succeed in getting my buddy over for some couch co-op, most likely the sounds of Enter the Gungeon will reverberate around the apartment. Perhaps also some Fast RMX, Horizon Chase Turbo, and MK8 Deluxe.
I’ve got an insane backlog, truth be told, and still can’t stop buying games.
Somebody please send help! Or money. Money will do just fine.
Just finished persona q2 so now I have the 3ds back out will probably go through SMT 4 and SMT 4 apocalypse again to scratch the itch since there's been no news about 5 in like 2years
I'm jumping back and forth between a 2nd Bloodstained 100% run, and making new levels in Super Mario Maker 2. Will be picking up SolSeraph as well, when that releases. It releases on Wednesday, and I'm leaving out of town for the big San Diego Comic Con the day after. Going to be fun. Then I'll be picking up Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, during the event when I'm there, and enjoying that too.
@Dm9982
I haven't played it yet but the critic reviews made it sound pretty good. I've read that it's fairly by the numbers collectathon sort of 3D platformer that doesn't do anything wrong but doesn't bring anything new to the table that you haven't seen before either (aside from being able to play as the full cast of Paw Patrol pups across the various levels), so it should be a good game for kids and fans of the show but don't expect Mario Odyssey levels of innovation. Oddly enough Paw Patrol: On A Roll was published by Torus Games, who also handled the excellent port of Doom II to the Game Boy Advance and Duke Nukem Advance back in the day. =)
Steamworld Heist which I'm enjoying now I've gotten past a bit I was stuck on for a while (occurred to me it might be worth replaying some levels to power up my team and learn to use some of their abilities more effectively).
Probably a bit of mario tennis if I get chance.
Also playing the niantic harry potter game but starting to tire already of its mobile mechanics, grinding away for incremental little rewards with little actual gameplay.
I'm going to work on finish my THIRD play through of Pokemon White, play Smash, and Cities Skylines (PC).
Weather is beautiful today. Mario Maker 2 if I get the chance
@Toph6661 charge it with your PC.
Got an old workmate coming round with his Switch, he never got off the Great Plateau so we're going to have a Zeldathon and try and get him out into Hyrule....and maybe throw in some Final Fight and Horizon Chase Turbo for good measure, either way, it will be a great laugh! I love the fact he can just bring the base unit round, no wires and drop it straight into my dock and start playing.
My weekend is going to consist of Mario maker 2, lots of Minecraft within my realm, and I’ve been thinking of playing echos for the fire emblem hype!! Hope you guys have a wonderful weekend
Bloodstained & Splatoon 2.
This week I will be mostly playing
Mario Maker 2
Fullblox (aka Stretchmo)
CTR is taking up most of my time now that the grand prix is upon us! Sorry Rocket League!
@Xelha Adept LS works just as well as Valor LS, or if you really know the monsters patterns Striker LS is even good too. All the LS arts are just that amazing. Love being able to one shot a tail with Crit Junction. 😆
@Jin15 Awesome! Thanks for the info! Yeah I always wonder about the cartoon cash in games. Largely they’ve gotten much better than when I was kid, and some a very good - like Spongebob Battle for Bikini Bottom. I’ll def get it for her then, gotta train the little gamer girl! She also loves playing old NES titles like Bubble Bobble. 🤘❤️
Some AC 3, for the flaws that it has, I'm still really enjoying the game.
And I'll continue my journey through the 100 lvls of Super Mario Maker 2.
@WiltonRoots Never got off the Plateau? I also had a co worker who started the game but left it. I simply cannot imagine letting that game go. I did almost everything except the 900 Koroks. Maybe with you helping him he can enjoy it more. Good luck!
I finished Horizon Chase Turbo last week, what a game! While I did not ace every race, I did #1 most of them and top 3 in the rest. That game is great and I like the ending video.
Also, Mario Maker 2! Still in story mode, but I can't wait to check out online courses. That is a fantastic game.
And I just reached Rocketeer in Rocket League. Another great game.
Happy gaming, everyone!
Xenoblade Chronicles 2, feeling the combat a bit more
May start MM2
A few laps in Virtua Racing
Runs on StS, BoI, Dead Cells.
Oh, and I hit 100 hours in Rocket League in the week!
Watching Le Tour (go G), then a little light Super Mario Maker 2.
Still working on my first level in SSM 2. Hope I can upload it this weekend.
Bloodstained
Still questing through Octopath Traveller, brilliant game and I'm about 35 hours in so far but still a lot to do.
Also will be playing the mega addictive Graveyard Keeper which I think I have put in more hours than Octopath despite only owning it a week!
On the Ps4 I will be continuing my blood slaying journey through the never ending Assassins Creed Odyssey.
@dugan I agree, Horizon Chase Turbo I keep going back to, along with Mario Kart/Crash TR and Fast RMX we have some really great racing options on the Switch....
Back to XB1 stuff, Master Chief Collection and Halo 5 specifically. Despite my excitement for Mario Maker 2 before launch, I feel as those I'm pretty much done with it at least until they fix the online lag. CTR's Grand Prix challenges are getting repetitive too so I'll take a break and go back to how things were during the Switch drought earlier this year.
@Dm9982 I tried out Paw Patrol for my 4 year old and ended up trading it in. She liked the animations but The levels looked very similar to one another and she was losing interest. My biggest complaint is that it’s only 1 player so I couldn’t play with her and help her. I ended up getting New Super Mario Bros Deluxe instead which is more challenging but she likes to play with me. She also likes Smash Bros and MK8- I don’t know if you’ve tried those with your kid.
I’ll probably mess around with the SNES Mini. With Super Metroid, Super Mario World, Kirby Superstar, Donkey Kong Country, and Mario RPG. If I play anything on Switch it will probably be Smash.
@NotTelevision I've still never used that, my first port of call is to get Rivali's Gail to help make exploration a lot easier. I've definitely picked up some Korok seeds I never got before already and I'll do the Master Sword trials this time too. I hadn't even played my Switch in quite a few months but me securing a copy of the limited edition Links Awakening convinced me to have another go and I haven't put it down since
@dugan I need to help him because there’s such a vast world out there that he needs to see. Since that sequel trailer i’ve gone back into wandering around and trying to tie up some loose ends, I only have 219 korok seeds, forget that. If i see one I see one.
@Toph6661 probably a bad battery. Easy fix. If you don’t want to fix it, I’ll buy it from you
@Dm9982
I actually just sat down and tried out Paw Patrol for about an hour, playing through the first 3 missions, and while you can definitely tell it was a game designed with preschoolers in mind due to the constant tutorial reminders (do they really need to tell you that you can pull a rope with the B button every single time you encounter a rope?) the controls feel tight and precise and the 2.5D platforming feels good. Initially I thought it was going to be a 3D platformer but it ended up being 2.5D, which is just fine by me though. As an adult gamer I didn't manage to find all the collectibles in the first few levels on my first try, and there are rewards to unlock for finding them all so that's a good sign for replayability.
So far my initial impression of Paw Patrol: On A Roll is that it looks and sounds pretty identical to the TV show, and the gameplay is solid if not very simple. Given the target age range for this game though the simplicity is totally understandable, and the only real complaint I could make about it is that there's no way to turn off the constant and repetitive tutorials in the options menu. I imagine the frequent reminders of how the controls work would be really helpful for a 3 year old though, so I'd say go ahead and pick it up for your daughter. For me it's proving to be a much needed break from the constant stomach churning stress of Outlast lol
I'm reallllly close to finishing secret of mana. Hoping to finish it all tonight. And some more Mario maker 2. If i finish mana, I'll start on stranger things 3 the game
@carlos82 The Master Trials are a blast. Enjoy.
My plan this time is to not do any of the Divine Beast and try to beat all forms of Calamity Ganon in Hyrule Castle. Just trying to get get enough hearts and stamina before the attempt.
Mario Maker 2, Breath of the wild off and on for the 2nd time through. I’ve also been playing God of War on PS4 for the first time. Great game!
My young kiddos are over all weekend so gaming will be weather dependent. I’m sure we’ll get in some time playing SMM2, though. After bedtime I’ll work on Hollow Knight some more, at least till I inevitably fall asleep in my chair with the controller on my lap. Parenting isn’t quite conducive to gaming. 😅
@NintendoByNature How was Skyward Sword? That is the only 3D Zelda I’ve never played. I sold my Wii in college because I became disappointed with a lot of the games being released on it. I regret that now.
Mario Maker 2, Yooka Laylee, Graveyard Keeper, Red Faction
I've been revisiting Red Faction: Armageddon. I'm blown away by how much fun this game is! I didn't appreciate it as much originally. I might get Guerilla on Switch after I finish it. It was always one of my favorite PS3 games.
Working on finishing up Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies. I'm at the next to the last mission on Ace difficulty, and the lack of checkpoints in that game is giving me some problems...
After I finish that, it's Ace Combat Zero.
I also might fit in Luigi's Mansion on 3DS. Still sort of chipping away at the hidden mansion.
I’ll be playing some levels on MM2- I haven’t even touched story mode yet just been playing other people’s creations. Some are seriously fantastic. I finally go around to making my own but I’ve got some more practice in. I enjoy MM2 more than the original personally and I’m probably the one person who’s not terribly sad the Wii U gamepad isn’t around this time.
Otherwise I’ll be playing some Guacamelee I just started the other day. So far it’s pretty good.
@NotTelevision im still playing thru it actually. I'm half way thru the lanayru mines(3rd dungeon in the game). I actually really love it, I just won't have much time this weekend to play it. Usually, because i can only play it on the tv, I get very limited times i can jump into it ( usually when my wife is out since its hooked up to the tv in our room ). But my favorite part about the game is it really respects your time. For instance, there are multiple save points all over the game and what's even better is that there are multiple save points in the dungeons themselves. I've played almost every zelda game aside from this, four swords and the cdi games and I can't recall that feature in another game. The mechanics can some times be finicky but I'm also using a 3rd party Wii motion plus adapter. So after 10 hours in, I can say it's just as great as any 3d zelda game. It also guides you to the next big location to visit which is also nice. It sucks you sold your Wii. Im playing it on wii u and it was only $20 on the eshop. Well worth the price so far. Id say to and grab a Wii u or Wii to try it but I think it'll come to switch eventually. I just didn't feel like waiting any More lol. Plus, my wife got the adapter for me for father's day so I figured i might as well put this thing to use and make sure it even works hahaha. So that's what I did, sorry for the winded response. But I do like skyward sword thus far.
Still working through Mario + Rabbids. Might get Axiom Verge while it's on sale
@Toph6661 not sure if this will help or not. I had the same thing happen with my 3ds once. I really thought it would never turn on again.
Anyway i just left it charging for like half a day, and then it finally turned on.
I might try getting back into Dark Souls III again.
Nothing on the Switch unfortunately, off to be repaired. I’ll be anxiously waiting for it in the meantime.
Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion and Pokémon FireRed.
Super Mario Maker 2 and Crash Team Racing for me this weekend! Fun times all around!
A plage tale : innocence.
What a masterpiece, probably the best game I played this year.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1WAA2_kFv4
A small studio that makes a better game than the majority of the AAA's.
@konbinilife Currently in the middle of trying the same thing!
@mossimac That is plan C! Haha looked up a video and was shocked that they hadn't glued the battery in place. Does look an easy fix, already got a triwing set from fixing a joycon once upon a time
@Rpg-lover Will give that a try! got a USB-C port on the PC and a C to C cable so why the hell not.
Bloodstained and Mario Maker 2 all the way baby 👍🏻
@Toph6661 ok, just give it time when plugged.
Mario Maker 2 and FFX. Finally back to FFX to finish it. Got distracted by SAO Hollow Realization and Nekopara Vol 3. Both of which I finished last week.
Picked up Bayonetta 2 yesterday and OMG! I know I’m late to the party but it’s amazing! So I’ll be playing that and SMM2 for when I need something more relaxing.
Bloodstained Ritual of the Knight
L.A. Noire (Switch) - Coming across pedos is always gross...
Zen Pinball 2 (Vita) - Picked up a new table, so will play over the weekend.
Mirror's Edge (Windows Phone) - On a Let's Play.
Microsoft Flight (Games For Windows) - On a Let's Play.
I have two episodes of Stranger Things left to watch then on to the game next (which I heard was actually pretty good!).
I also picked up Mario Maker 2 last night which I imagine will be played non-stop as well... good gaming weekend ahead!
I will be playing either Grim Fandango Remastered, Tetris 99, or Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled. Crash Team is a guarantee since I am just now purchasing it, but the others are up in the air. I really like Grim Fandango though.
SMM2 of course. Also some Yoshi's Crafted World. And I just begun Octopath Traveller, just wanted to play something for half hour, but the graphics, soundtrack, stories sucked me in, and 4.5 hours later I'm in love with the whole experience so far.
Not a lot probably, as summer had truly started here in the UK, but I'll probably sneak in some Bloodstained RotN on my Ps4.
@Toph6661 same! Replaced my left joy-con analog stick
@Toph6661
Try take off your joycons when you charge?
This weekend it's all about that old school gaming for me, as I started a playthrough of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest last night. Outside of that, I'll probably find some time to play Tetris Attack as well this weekend.
Downloaded Ziggurat last night, so I’ll be playing plenty of that, some Mario Odyssey and probably Darkest Hunters, which was a very pleasant surprise.
@Xelha SnS is one I need practice with more and I always tend to forget RF Art has iframes 😆. And yeah I usually go Adept or Valor depending on weapon, so don’t use arts that often either. I’ve mained Bow since MH3U, and Insect Glaive since MH4U. Neither of those have “amazing” arts, but both are great even with out art usage.
@Mamabear Thanks for the input! NSMBD is on my list of games to still get, need to replace my Wii U copy since I traded it. I’ll probably still get Paw Patrol on Switch since Harley loves the show that much, she even likes playing the simple silly PP games on the Nick Jr app.
@Jin15 Outlast and PP in the same breath? I think part of internet may have broken! 😆 I’ve debated on getting Outlast, I’m a horror fan and love the RE series. But honestly, Outlast looks super intense. Like RE7 on Madhouse - lights off, headphones, remote play next to face on Vita type of intense. Yes I did this, heart was POUNDING after the dinner table scene.... Jack soooooo fast on MH. Thanks for testing PP out and letting me know though! Def gonna get it for Harley, think she’ll love it.
Super mario maker 2, finally got it from amazon!!!!
Tales of vesperia (25 hours in, this game is huge!)
And more moons to catch when wanting to take a break from those 2
I had other games pre ordered, like fire emblem and so on, but my backlog already has more than 14 games that i havent played yet, so i canceled all my pre orders, until i finish my huge backlog... i think i need help 😂
Giving Mario Maker a break after wasting an hour trying to upload my newest level...
Gonna try and finish Hollow Knight before God Eater 3 releases next week. Also playing Battle Cats Switch...hopefully one day that game will be localized. lol
@Xelha since I usually go with Valor Bow, I don’t really see a huge advantage with Haste Rain besides some run speed. I honestly usually run with Tactical Retreat or Blade Wire depending on if a tail needs cut.
@xelha Since you seem to be a Bow fan as well! Try the Silverwind bow with Tact Retreat. Those pierce shots are DEVASTATING. I run that with Crit Eye 3, Pierce Up, Load Up, True Shot Up, and Crit Boost. My runs vs large monsters like Ahtal are nearly as fast as HBG with this setup.
For build -
Barrage Ear
GX Old Fatalis Skin
Jaggi Gloves X
Silver Solcoat XR
Akantor Boots XR
Expert +10 Tali w/ 3 Slots
5x True Shot jewels
1x Pierce Up 3 Jewel
Slay the spire and Dragon Quest Builders 2
Currently playing and loving Super Mario Maker 2. Didn't play the first Mario Maker on Wii U so it's cool seeing how much creativity the community has. I went on a bit of a buying spree and got Cadence of Hyrule, Katana Zero, Wargroove, Crash N. Sane Trilogy, and Civ 6. Almost done with Cadence and about halfway through Katana Zero.
@Xelha Lol yeah I got real lucky with that charm. Was just mining the hell outta volcano once I got access to it. Haven’t gotten anything great from doin the HAME runs against Brachy. Bah.
But yeah if Adept, def run Haste Rain. Valor takes some getting use to on Bow. Mainly no more dodging, always Valor sheathe dodge. But once you do get use to it, the dps is insane for Bow. Having double Power Shots is amazing.
Edit - that tali is actually a Dragon tali so it can be found in HR volcano runs even.
@Skalgrim I have disconnected them yeah :/ thanks for the suggestion though
I picked up my 3DS for the first time in a year and man does that system have a great library. I've been replaying Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story; I'd forgotten what a fun game that is. I've also been playing Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call, which is a charming collection of nostalgia.
Playing until dawn then watching the United States women win their second World Cup in a row!!!🇺🇸
Nothinn on Switch this weekend. Im hiding insidein the AC anyway ☀️🌡😅
1. Sea of Solitude
2. F1 2019
I've already been busy with some Splatoon 2 and Super Mario Maker 2, don't think I'll be playing much else.
I've been hitting Pokemon Ultra Sun's post-game pretty hard this weekend. I'll give Game Freak credit; for all the things they didn't fix between the Ultra games and the originals, a meatier post-game has been one of the improvements. Now if only Giovanni would stop cheating by using a speedy as heck Mega Mewtwo X in the Team RR episode....
I'm also playing through Yoshi's Island on the SNES Classic for the first time ever. I'm still pretty early in the game and...don't know what to think of it yet. Clearly a lot of care went into the levels, but I'm not sure if I'm fully on board with firing eggs at things and rescuing an annoying crying baby half the time.
As usual, I'll also fit in a little Pokemon Go this weekend.
Happy gaming!
I finished Final Fantasy IX today. Great ending! Last few hours were amazing!! Might start X now but equally tempted to pick up Collection of Mana. Also, Mario Maker 2.
Well I'll probably be playing some BOTW(trying to find the last 4 shrines and collect the korok seeds), The Last Remnant Remastered, Trine, Nine Parchments. I tend to jump around especially if I get stuck on one and/or keep dying I'll switch to another game and go back to the previous later on. There is a slim chance I'll play Dark Souls but I'm totaly stuck so I haven't played it in months.
Playing through DQ 6 right now before getting back into 8 yet again... I will probably play through 8 on my 3ds every year until my system finally gives up the ghost.
Also playing through the Mega Man Zero collection. My gamer abilities are not nearly what they once were, and this collection proves it!
More BLOODSTAINED on my Switch and some Web slinging as I get towards 100% on all of Spider-Man on my PS4 (including DLC). That black and red FAR FROM HOME costume reminds me of Alex Ross' u used designs from Raimi's first film.
Just finished Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon; a quality title indeed, although its veteran mode reaffirms that there are some things, including knockbacks in platformers, that I will NEVER feel nostalgic about.😏 While there's still the Nightmare Mode on offer which I may address later, for now I intend to get to the main course at last. And then there's Xenoblade, of course.
Super Mario Maker 2 is constantly amazing. Love that game! I'm also playing Taiko no Tatsujin, Dragon Quest Builders (love the mostly 60fps gameplay in the first game, not interested in the choppy sequel coming soon), Hero Express (not as good as Hill Climb Racing 1 or 2, but it mostly runs at or very close to 60fps and is fun enough), Bomberman R, Desktop Soccer, and Rocket League.
