The one that gets me? I got offered a Panasonic GameCube for £200 by a mate who was short of cash and - being the good friend/human I am - I advised him that he could get significantly more if he went the ebay route. Should have bitten his hand off... and then purchased the PGC...
Pre-ordered them in a timely manner, payment was taken, order was cancelled and payment refunded. 3rd time it's happened. The Nintendo UK store is an actual snail-filled hell-dumpster!!
Completely forgot about this. Bought it for my daughter a few months ago but haven't seen any packs in the shops since before the Mario Movie launched, which I find a little odd. Preferred the Panini cards that came put just before this. They were DOPE AF!
Not sure if someone else has mentioned in the comments, but GAME charge £4.99 delivery, so prolly best to steer clear and use the South American river people instead 🤷♂️
I've picked this up and can attest to the fact that it's just a wonderfully oppulent encyclopedia of all things NES. Much like Senor Scullion, the NES is an incredibly personal and heartfelt piece of my childhood and subsequent passage into being the person I am today.
My only gripe with this review, and I'm nitpicking here, is that Chris didn't review this himself and give it a 7....
Could I interject with a somewhat altogether different opinion? I couldn't possibly recommend Windscape. When I reviewed this game for my own site, I found it to be an unfinished buggy mess. I won't link it here, that seems like very bad form. However, if you were to google the name of this game, review, and the format it is on, my own review is the one directly below this in the search results (It was the top hit until this went live, not that I'm bitter....)
Just finished my own review and after extensive time with this game, and the embargo lifted, I can say that it’s a sheer delight to play. I personally really like the motion controls and found myself using them quite a bit.
Have just finished playing Where Are My Friends?
Probably the buggiest game I’ve played on Switch yet. I’m starting to feel like we’re seeing a lot of Shovel ware start to creep onto the console. If you have a young kid, get It’s Spring Again for a couple of bucks, it’s such a charming number.
Maybe 1 day Nintendo will allow us to re purchase all the GameCube games we own, and some we don’t, and we could play them on our portable HD systems. They could call this service something like ‘Not Physical Game System’ or the NPGS for short. Rolls tight off of the tongue.
Jose was really great, no wonder Nintendo snapped him up. Peer is incredibly insightful and clearly a very well educated, intelligent man who holds the camera very well.
I personally feel that Filip, despite being a bit of a drip, has started to try to move the show in a new direction, more regular updates, extra content, let’s plays etc.
Not perfect, but growing on me!
I’ll take folders at this point. Really need to have some order to my 40 odd games before they give me all the VC titles I’ve purchased in the past for free.....
Pre orders have been available all over the internet for a while now, at much better prices. Is it really worth paying full just to get a bit of cheap tat, this time in the form of a pencil case?
So am I right in thinking that these are physical rewards available through Japanese My Nintendo? That would be so cool. Finally the 1st steps in being an able replacement for Club Nintendo

You'd get pretty high odds, I'd wager. They have an exemplary track record, with last year's Covert Dock demonstrating their technical capabilities.

Re: Ninty Fresh Aims To Relive The Glory Days Of Nintendo Print Magazines
@FragRed Switch focused ones? You'd imagine they'd remain relevant long as the Switch does....
By the looks of it though, this project isn't Switch specific and is more focused on Nintendo in general.
Re: Falcon Punch Is A New Nintendo-Focused Print Magazine, And It Sounds Amazing
@olrodlegacy is that like iPlayer on the Switch? Does that mean we might finally get Netflix?

Absolutely agree though, Switch Player Mag continues to go from strength to strength. Well worth signing up to their Patreon.

Re: Review: Windscape - A Pleasantly Laid-Back Take On A Well-Worn Genre
@Lachybob I guess we got pre-alpha codes or something as everyone else is raving about the open world and the story being great. There was a story?

That’s an absolute shed ton of mulah. Around £2k still to go if my maths is correct. Yikes, guess we won’t be seeing a Switch version

Love Thumper. Although that game gets hard. Level 5 onwards is literally insane, there’s a valid reason that it’s genre is rhythm violence

Day 1. Loved the previous instalment. The perfect game to play on handheld with a good set of headphones
