Re: Hands On: RiME Lights Up On Nintendo Switch

I can relate to what the producer says about the ease of access of the Switch and having a small baby. I often put my Switch into sleep mode, go and do a feed or a change and come back and pick up right where I left off. Sometimes I just sit by her crib when she's stirring at night, collecting Korok seeds. My PS4 literally just gets turned on to download my PlayStation plus games every month (have membership through till November).

Re: Playtonic Gives Update On Yooka-Laylee For Switch

It's definitely confirmed that it will only be digital for Switch. Backed this day 1 on Kickstarter (originally for Wii U) but getting a bit fed up with the whole circus surrounding the Switch release.
Also doesn't help that you can pick up the PS4/XBONE versions for very minimal amounts of money now!

Re: Hex Gambit Confirmed for Switch After Passing Kickstarter Goal

I once backed a game on Kickstarter.
It's name you ask? Yooka Laylee.
Backed it as a last hurrah for that oh-so of tragic consoles, the Wii U.
It got cancelled.
I got offered the chance to instead have it on my PS4, as specified, in April.
I declined.
I got offered my money back. Again, I declined.
I chose to have it on my Switch. The thought of playing it anywhere, well, that was just too much for me to comprehend.
Looking back, I should have chose the option to simply play it in front of the TV.
By the time it launches, I'll probably be playing a 3D platformer made by this company called 'Nintendo'
Get the feeling it's gonna be pretty special.
Sigh

Re: Niantic Is Facing a Class-Action Lawsuit Over Pokémon GO Fest

Nin10dad

This is all so irrelevant for a company like Niantic, who have made millions from GO. Pay the silly people there silly compensation and push a promotion on raid passes, buy one get one free or some such nonsense. Problem solved. Tom, Dick and Harry are happy, Niantics coffers are once again overflowing.
