With its April release date looming in the distance, Nintendo has finally started rolling out pre-orders for Nintendo Labo on the official Nintendo UK site. Should your bank balance be suitably healthy, you can head on over there right now and secure the Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 01: Variety Kit, the Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 02: Robot Kit or the Nintendo Labo Customisation Set.
The Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 01: Variety Kit will set you back £59.99, the Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 02: Robot Kit will cost you slightly more at £69.99 and the Nintendo Labo Customisation Set is only a mere £8.99 (the kit is must have add-on since it includes official sticker sheets and two rolls of Labo-themed masking tape). There's also another incentive for ordering direct from Nintendo - a free Nintendo Labo Marker Set and Pencil Case (see above) thrown in for good measure. Freebies!

Whilst I’m not ordering it I do await further details and how it does with interest. I do see it as a product with potential outside the traditional gaming experience.
Of course that’s something Nintendo has been doing the last 15 years or so, trying to expand gaming’s foothold (although it occasionally retracts).
Pre orders have been available all over the internet for a while now, at much better prices. Is it really worth paying full just to get a bit of cheap tat, this time in the form of a pencil case?
Afraid Shantae's physical edition comes out around then for Europe, so no cardboard money to spare for a bit....
As someone who has gone all digital (except for Zelda special edition), I am holding out for the digital code version that Japan is getting. I really hope they bring that west, as my plan is to never remove the BotW cart.
I think it'll be less of an age and more of a moment, or footnote.

Day One !
Pre Order from my local game shop.
Dirty dozen.
Planning on picking this up when school is out to while away the summer evenings on the deck and throw all of the scrap cardboard into the fire pit and roast marshmallows over it.
Well my kids will be doing all of that, I'll be drinking a cold brew. So it will kind of be like playing Kirby with my kids, sitting back and doing nothing.
