I love amiibo! I have every single one released, including gold mega man which I imported from the States and a custom Ganda Kris shadow Mario!
I honestly don't understand people's hate towards them! If you don't like the concept, you don't have to buy them!
To me, they're just a great little collectible, with the added benefit of a few little gimmicks built in! I think the way they're utilised on BoTw is brilliant. The gear you get from them is completely nostalgic and Epona is a Legendary horse!

This game is so addictive! Recently played on a friends PC and held off getting it for PS4, hoping for a Switch version! Happy days!

I've put 250 hours with the misses on the Wii U version.
Still play a couple of races a day even now!
But will buy the Switch version, day 1.
I'm kinda optimistic that we will see more DLC unveiled at E3....

Makes sense. Demand for Switch is huge! Use all available assets to produce Switches and make sure demand is met.

Have begrudgingly pre ordered from Amazon so will pay £40 for this. The misses and I have played over 250 hours of MK8, all DLC purchased, and whilst a couple of new cups at launch would have been nice, we can wait for the inevitable Switch DLC!

That explains it. Had a conversation with a colleague who had the Wii U version who says they haven't noticed any improvements. Whereas, for me, playing on my Switch, the difference is staggering. Cool story bro...

@faint I hope the DLC is the story of 10,000 years ago mentioned in the game. Would make so much sense to run it on this engine and art direction as opposed to using it for a different game

Finished the main story of BoTw last night, amazing by the way! And I took my time, 70 hours all memories found and divine beasts tamed! And as much as there's still plenty to do, I do feel the need for some more Nintendo in my life right now!!!

Played at an event! A lot of fun, and really quite in depth. At the same time, very playable, even a beginner can pick it up and have a blast.

How funny! When I contacted Amazon they replied that it was up to Nintendo to fix this issue and there was very little that they could do. Nintendo as of yet haven't replied to me. Luckily I got a pro controller so just use that for BoTw anyway

Honestly think it would have been nice for Nintendo to give a discount to Wii U owners who have purchased this game + the DLC. That way, even if people went physical, there would still be the DLC to show Nintendo that this particular user does own the game! Never gonna happen but hey, 1 day Nintendo will catch up
