Being a grown adult with a 60+ hour a week job, I don't really mind that it's delayed. Xenoblade will occupy my holiday gaming and hopefully it will fill the spring release slot and give me something to sink my paws into then.

That would explain why none of the Pokemon amiibo unlock designs on Yoshi, they wanted a unique selling point....

So eventually got Shulk, Little Mac and King Dedede today! Plus, Dark Pit, Paulenta, Zero Samus and the mighty demon king Gannondorf arrived. Very happy with that, 3x Yarn Yoshi should arrive tomorrow, Dr. Mario, Olimar and Bowser Jr. pre ordered.... Only Rosalina and Ness to go and I'm up to date so far 😃

Unfortunately for me my local Game store are completely uninterested with all things Nintendo and said that if it's not available online, or visibly in store there is nothing they can do to help.
I have however procured Little Mac for £10.99 from Game.co.uk, which was a nice surprise and am still hopeful for Shulk. Just King Dedede, Rosalina and Ness to go to complete the collection 😊

I think the reason that the smash range of amiibo have the bases is so that they mimic the in game trophies. And then it just kinda stuck.....

@Kirk I completely agree with you captain!! And I don't particularly fancy paying any upgrade fees either. I just want the console to recognize my NNID and direct me in the way of the eshop. Even better, a system transfer at launch that lets me play everything from my HDD
