Still play my WiiU all the time. Lately more often wii games but WiiU games get it plenty of play. Honestly prefer it over the switch.

Hell yeah. Last year I restarted playing it on the 64 since I was wanting to play through it again. This’ll be a way easier way

The current games I wish the most had manuals are Tetris and Pac*man 99

Still the best version of Tetris (not including the Tengen version). I love beating the Type B version and getting that nintendo Jam party

The game is incredible and I’m glad I read this review for the slight explanation of what “stronger” means. I still haven’t cracked the top 5 but I prefer this way over Mario . I don’t think side scrollers work as well in this format I guess. Too bad they won’t make a Ms. Pac Man version or skin of this, I know there’s some weird rights issue where I guess it’s just always easier to not use her- but it’s ridiculous she’s not in this, and it’s ridiculous she’s not a skin option in Smash

I want them both! Obv we need Mario and zelda to keep going strong- but I’ve been dying for them to remake Pro Wrestling ever since the WWE games started being scarce on their systems. And Mike Tyson has basically redeemed himself in the eyes of the world- rerelease the greatest boxing game of all time and make a new punch out to go along

Loving it already. Could never get into Mario, I couldn’t understand the battle aspect of it. I’d just play thru everything- everything seemed good and suddenly my time would just drop to zero. PacMan and tetris have always been my jam anyways. I just think this battle mode works better with puzzle/maze games. Now figure out a way for them to incorporate Ms Pac Man

Nothing against the man but of course he couldn’t have created the Wii. Every incarnation of the Xbox is just an updated Xbox, nothing more. I can tell you right now the hype on the next Xbox will be the same as every other one, more incredible graphics and a stronger engine. That’s all they do. Then if a company makes a great game for it they look and see if they can buy that company. That’s their entire business model. The most dull boring company in the world

OMG. HAd no idea this was on the Switch!I remember playing this on the iphone. The only reason I stopped is cause i have a hard time playing anything on that, I cant belive this is on a good console- well, time to start bringing the switch back to work again.

That’s interesting but makes a lot of sense. PlayStation being pushed as a full entertainment machine instead of just a gaming console and Xbox being such a failure in Japan.

I want Punch Out!! 99!!

I totally would've gotten this if I thought my house layout would work well with it. I think the couch/rug ratios would make it too hard. I understand the high price, but I couldn/t spend that much just to find out it won't work at my house.

I love a good hori controller. If this were wireless I wouldn’t even think twice. I just don’t care to be plugging in a remote everytime I play

Yeah this article says it all. Good odds Nintendo will figure out a way but Sony and Microsoft will just put out an upgrade on their current systems. Maybe they’ll try to incorporate what Nintendo has with the Switch and bring some portability to it. They usually try to take a stab at incorporating Nintendo’s innovations a little bit

Still the best Punch Out is Mike Tyson’s Punch Out. I wish Nintendo would just rework a deal with him, put the classic game out on the Nintendo Online game and make a brand new one with him. I love how tough they made him in the game- back in the day when games were hard to beat ( nowadays anyone can beat any modern game, it’s just a matter of time). It’s time for Nintendo to stop only releasing sports games with Mario headlining. I want a new Punch Out, a new Pro Wrestling and a new Wii Sports

I just can’t imagine any way this will be good. 2K’s games are full of bugs- and when they play right they still aren’t fun. Plus they’ve put no effort into Switch releases. Also put the art style of this vs any wrestling arcade game style ever and compare. These look like garbage- I’d rather see what mk/WrestleMania photo capture style would look like in a modern day- but while I know that most likely wouldn’t happen, I’d like a full console version of that Immortals cellphone game. 2k is just garbage , there’s no way this isn’t gonna play like a weak crap version of Street Fighter.
Give us FirePro, I’ll get that retro one when it comes out- and when 2k loses the license I’ll get a new WWE game

I’m sure there’ll be “regular” Lego sets down the line or at least minifigs in blind bags, but for now this crazy Mario Lego game is such an insane Nintendo move. It reminds me of how different the Wii was when it was revealed

I’m all set with swordsmen but even though I guess that big key thing is a sword, I’d have liked to have seen Sora in the game. Even more so I’d like Ms Pac Man to be a Pac Man alt but I think namco can’t do that without paying some Americans money first. Also I’d want some more straight up Nintendo classics like amazon or Star man from Pro Wresting or Wart from Mario 2.

People really like collecting the spirits? I liked collecting all the trophies in the previous games but these don’t do anything for me. I liked being able to view each trophy, move it around to see each angle and read a write up on the character. I even liked just looking at the big pile on the table. These spirit things give me nothing to get attached to.

@Flashvinnig You must not understand innovation. Innovation doesn’t just mean having the latest specs. Yes all those other systems are trying to achieve the latest tech reaches for their graphics- and when all those other systems are focusing on that aspect- none of them are being innovative by doing so. Nintendo is being innovative, their Wii (which WAS backwards compatible with their gamecube) INTRODUCED motion tech, and with innovations like that, yes, allows/forces new controllers to be sold. The wiiU came out and was backwards compatible with the Wii. All of their gameboy upgrades were backwards compatible with at least the previous incarnation. The Switch is the first since gamecube that isn’t backwards compatible. The reason PS/Xbox/PC can continue to be backwards compatible for so many generations is because they are 100% not innovative in any way, just upgraded tech. Oh here comes the new Xbox, with better graphics and more memory-that’s all they’ll offer you-and so will the next one and so will the next one. Except for when they just blatantly rip off the latest Nintendo products.

I love this because it further shows how innovative Nintendo is. Remember when the wii came out and people looked at it and thought it was low powered, the motion tech was not that great… Then it sold a billion units and PlayStation pulls out a motion thing and Xbox does too... Of course those both failed. Now dell wants to do this to copy their awesome switch. Just remember all the other portable systems that tried to take out the GameBoy, the game gears, the lynks, The PSP… At the end of the day Nintendo and their portable units cannot be defeated.

So funny to read this right now, over the past month I’ve been playing through this with my 6yr old. She wanted to know more about rosalina (she knows from kart) so I started playing Galaxy 2 finally (I bought it used about a year ago) Even though there’s no where near as much Rosalina here as part one she loves watching me play through this and she’s a legit help using the second wiimote. The gameplay is awesome in this one and incredible how the controls follow the gravity of the planets, it’s far too complex for my daughter but everything they let player two help with is great for her skill level.
Definitely one of my favorite Mario games of all time, but I think I still put Mario 3 and 64 ahead of it.

I hate DLC but this is one game I feel does it right. When your dlc comes out your or five years down the road it’s clearly not items that were just held back from you. It’s rad they legit use it to freshen up the game loooong after its been out. Can’t wait to get these free cars now too

It’s so awful they gave up on this system. Easily one of their best ever. I love the dual screens. So much freaking potential in this system that they never used. I think I only had 2 games that used the camera, they should have pushed hard on the touch screen for customizing games, and I would have LOVED if they released a new version of the Super gameboy/ gameboy player where you could plop in ds/3ds games in to play on your tv

Shockingly expensive. How long has PowerA even been around? I feel like I’ve only been seeing them over just the past couple years. I trust their quality like they were MadCatz. Even if they’re good, a wired standard size controller at that price is ridiculous. Looks gorgeous though, at $20 I’d probably buy it

All Nintendo issues I’ve had in the past came from extreme amounts of playtime. I feel the Switch was rushed, and that it was the first of their products that was introduced that way. It’s a very annoying problem but it’s far from being their norm so after I get my drift fixed I’ll forgive them

It’s absolutely obvious it’s a homage to Gene Simmons and if that quote was really said by him, Pokémon’s lucky that they’ve been a beloved game to his kids because he loves to protect his image/property and I think in any other case would be not commenting and instead suing

I still play my wiiU far more than than the Switch. There’s such an awesome library of games that it can play and that’s without even including the Wii games. The Wii fit U games are ridiculously underrated

I wish they’d just keep contra 2d. They’re so much better that way. Contra 4 on the ds was so good. Definitely getting the collection but maybe not this

Thats a VERY solid lineup. Didn’t think I’d get this but it sounds worth it. This will definitely outsell the PlayStation mini

yeah, 2k hasn't been a part of a good wrestlinggame, they're awful. The first one they put out had some fun elements, but that's because it was still really a THQ game. I really wish someone else would just get the license already. I'm up for seeing what EA could do with them. I think they might've made some bad WCW games 20 years ago but they made an incredible nba jam a while back, bring that fun energy to wwe

I think anyone so badly bothered by this trailer must have had something extremely specific in mind when they heard this movie coming out. It was fine. Yes Pokemon looks like the better of the two but that's got a lot to do with the world of pokemon being easier to explain with humans taking the lead. If it were a illumination flick completely animated then yeah i'm sure it'd follow the game more thoroughly, but what you're getting here looks fun. They new to make the Genesis pun, the ring sounds, Robotnick looks cool... give it a chance

I love these Lego game, but I think they peaked on Wii U. Playing Jurassic World with my 5 yr old where she can play on the tablet while i see my own seperate screen on the tv was the best. Split screens still tolerable though, but as always with Lego games- wait till their next big release and get this for $20

I know I’m a few years late but does anyone know if multiplayer on this is like it is on Jurassic Park where tablet and tv can have their own screens? I played that with my daughter and it worked wicked rad- i just startedbplaying lego movie and it doesn’t have that feature and i can’t stand the split screen. The WiiU being able to do the two screens for multiplayer is such an awesome edgebover the competition and i miss it on the switch

Well this seals the deal on me not getting these. I loved the Pinball Arcades version of their tables and I wish I got them all on the switch for the heartbeat of time they were up. It’s only gonna take Zen longer to produce a fraction of the the tables TPA had especially now that they’re self censoring them to be extra cautious with the censor board.
I don’t even get why they aren’t running these things by the ratings board first anyways? The games already exist both physically and in TPA versions, couldn’t they send them a layout of the game and then find out what if anything they need to change?

@setezerocinco did happen. There is video. This is about a half hour from where I live so I’ve seen it on the local news like 3 different times yesterday. Two kids took cell phone videos of it and reported him, I laughed at first because I thought it was an older kid doing it that was in the vid- but then you see a TODDLERS head pop out of the machine to give him a Switch

Bummed pinball arcade lost the license. They had such a deep library of their games, feels like it would take forever and would cost fx3 a bundle to pay for all the licenses that P.A. already had for sick games like Addams family. Plus I’m not interested in the least with games they’re starting out with. When they get a good Bally’s/Williams game I’ll try it out but I feel that’s a long ways away

@holygeez03 is it really outdated tech though? Maybe it’s older tech, but if it replicates an old pinball game properly than the tech is good enough

A Terrible port. That being said I was desperate for a new wrestling game (last I had was 2k14). Initially play a little bit then dtopped playing this for a bit and was thinking of trading it in, however after some time I realized there are some small aspects of the game that are tolerable (1 on 1, and rumbles) and I'm confident that there will eventually be SOME sort of patch that can make it better.
The fact that they still sell the DLC season pass even though nothings out yet at least gives me that much patch hope.
Never again will I ever preorder a 2K game. Absolutely Never. If they ever get money from me for a game again it will be after a long list of stunning reviews come out, And they REALLY should do something for the Switch owners to make up for this crap. I know theres no chance they would but it would mean a LOT if they just went in and added a few extras like a Broken version of Matt Hardy or some kind of added free DLC.

As much as I hate how crazy expensive joy cons are, when I saw a chance to grab the blue 2-pack I had to get them and it makes my Switch pop! While more colors would be great to have I can say I’m pretty much satisfied.... until they make some clear ones...🤑
