@teamdave2002 Since I have never bought an amiibo before, I had no idea they were that expensive. And yes, they are expensive compared to other toys or figures the same size. I do realize that these amiibo can be used for in-game abilities, but we all know that they're mostly for display.

Link's Awakening Amiibo is the only reason I want to buy one. But why so damned expensive??? Amiibo should only cost around $10 at most

@Contra_III I'm happily gonna pay $60 for Link's Awakening because Nintendo actually remade the game and improved on the graphics, gameplay and added more to the game. This poor excuse for a NEW Contra game actually looks like an old game because the graphics are poop! There's just no excuse for textures this muddy, blurry and jaggy for a system that can give us amazing graphics like Super Smash Ultimate.

The demo is total poop. I cannot believe the laziness from Konami on the textures for this thing! There's just no excuse for graphics this bad on a system that can do so much more. Pixel art would have been better than this....and I hate pixel art.

@Barbara001 Or we could be looking at more than 2 releases per month. They never stated that the releases will be fewer each month.

I would LOVE to have this localized! I love arcade style games like this.

@Nagi According to Gonintendo.com, The article states that six titles in the collection have been revealed, and more will be shared at a later date. So they've only announced the six so far. Don't give up hope just yet.

I don't get it. How does a blocky pixellated mess like Minecraft not get a graphics upgrade due to hardware limitations? Give it to Panic Button and they'll figure it out. Lol

This is a great step in the right direction! Let's also remember that these microtransactions are purely cosmetic, and they don't affect the gameplay, which is more than I can say for EA's tactics.

Awesome! In case some of you don't know, there's a really great cooking game already on the Switch called Cook, Serve Delicious 2 and it's excellent! Highly recommended.

I contacted Netflix asking why they aren't on the Switch and a representative stated that Nintendo has to allow certain permissions in order for them to provide the streaming service to the platform. It doesn't make alot of sense, being that Hulu and Youtube are on there, so I brought it up, and Netflix stated that they use different parameters than Hulu and Youtube, which Nintendo needs to provide for them. So, it all sounds like a bunch of B.S. as to why they aren't on there yet. I don't think Nintendo would block Netflix or other streaming services from using their platform. Just doesn't make any sense.

How is this "arguably" the least impressive version? It's without question, the least impressive by far.

Forget streaming games....what about Netflix? Prime Video? HBO Go? What's taking so long to get these services on the Switch, Nintendo?

Why even call this thing a Switch when it doesn't switch to anything at all? Stupid decision not to have video output to the TV, Nintendo. No rumble, no IR, no motion controls? I don't see this thing selling very well. I'll keep my actual Switch.

This might have been priced right if the graphics were remastered, but it's just a lazy copy/paste job from the Xbox 360/PS3 days. Stupid move, Crapcom.

I love the old school vibe on some of these pixel art games. I just wish they would add a CRT filter! I love the look of scanlines like an old monitor, and none of these modern retro games have it.

I actually emailed Taito twice about porting over Space Invaders Extreme and Extreme 2 to the Switch, so hopefully, they are listening! Fingers crossed that these are included in this collection!!!

Yeah, if they're just gonna give us a copy/paste without improvements, it better be really really cheap in price. $14.99 at the most. Otherwise, why not release the trilogy for $30 and call it a day, Crapcom?

This one's by Enjoyup Games, so it's utter garbage. All of their games suck! Bare minimum graphics, awful minimalist design, cheap production value. Save your money.

Netflix has a reputation, but I wouldn't call it great. They've raised their prices by two bucks this year alone and they still have some of the worst rated original movies out there.

I wish Hamster would switch their ugly home menu icons on these ACA releases. I even emailed them about it and they said they won't. They're such an eyesore though.

I absolutely loved Puzzle Quest, so this was a no-brainer download. It's great! I played it for over 4 hours last night and I haven't hit a paywall yet.

I can't even begin to say how excited I am for this one! Samurai Shodown is my all-time favorite fighting franchise! My only gripe is that the loading times need some work. Fighting games should always have quick load times between fights. Hopefully the Switch version will be faster in that regard.

@jswhitfield8 I think it would be the same thing as Minecraft, where Microsoft owns the IP and got a majority of the revenue when Minecraft was brought out to other platforms. It's a win-win for Microsoft in that regard.

I don't mind cloud gaming, but I also don't want that to be the ONLY option in the future. No thanks! I live in the U.S., so there's no way I'll be able to game in more remote areas via cloud gaming. Not unless ISP's stop capping data and add A LOT more places for coverage.

Before I saw the trailer, I thought the concept of a live action Pokemon movie would be ridiculous, but after seeing the trailer, I've changed my mind. Here's the thing, Hollywood...when making a movie based on source material, pay homage to the source material! That's exactly what they went for on this movie, and because of that, along with the performances of the actors and a good story, this movie has a great chance of breaking the video game movie curse.

The movement was way too slow, which really made it feel a lot clunkier than I wanted it to. I also felt like you should be able to fly a lot higher/longer.
