SnoutUp Games and Ratalaika Games have revealed that Iron Snout will be fighting its way to Nintendo Switch later this week.
One of very few games said to offer "fast-paced bacon-flavoured combat", Iron Snout has you taking on the role of a porky protagonist who isn't afraid to deal some damage to his pesky enemies. You'll find wolves dressed as police officers charging towards you amongst the chaos, but they'll be no match for you - make sure to check out the trailer above.
If you want to learn a little more, here's a quick blurb and feature list for you:
Once upon a time, pigs would have to build a house of bricks to keep the wolves at bay, but not anymore. In Iron Snout, its hero piggie has taken up learning martial arts and now it’s the wolves that need to keep their distance because in this bonkers button-mashing beat 'em up, bacon is off the menu for good.
Only, hand-to-hand combat isn’t the only way to fight off hordes of wolves, so when the going gets tough, the tough picks up a butcher’s cleaver. After all, how else are you going to defend yourself against wolves that ride wrecking balls and wield chainsaws?
Features:
- Fast-paced bacon-flavored combat
- Action movie-like combos and fighting moves
- Hyper responsive controls
- Wide variety enemy weapons to steal and use
- Endless gameplay in 3 unique areas
- Multiple difficulties to test your skills
The game will be available on Nintendo Switch this Thursday, 18th April for $4.99.

Shades of Happy Tree Friends...
Oh, and "bacon-flavored combat" is not an actual thing, so definitely not a feature.
Silly developers trying to be funny. We should eats them, precious...
I’m sick of hearing those SFX after just watching the trailer!
"Endless Game Play in 3 unique areas"
Erm...that sounds like play for 10 mins and get bored
I downloaded the demo on PC years ago when I went on a demo downloading spree, but never actually played it. After watching this trailer, it makes me want to go home and delete it. I can't stand this sit-in-place-and-attack mechanic some of these indie devs are flaunting. It reeks of lazy coding and game design. Learn to code your character for basic movement, or don't send your game to market.
Well cuphead arrives the 18th so I won’t be playing this lol
This looks fun....for 10 seconds.
This used to be free on Steam and mobile, so I have little reason to actually pay money for it on switch
@Bunkerneath Ten minutes? You're giving this game WAY too much credit...
Saw this one on steam. And it was bad back then and now
Wow. Flash game much? Hard, hard pass. I wish I could like.. perform negative-purchases for games like these to send the developers a message. Like, reserve a game and PREVENT someone else from purchasing it. Reserve like 10k copies.
Thank goodness there's still shovelware.
