Re: Eternity's Child - No Plans For A North American Release

MrPoo6321

Man, this blows... Why can't everyone just get games around the same time. I've been looking forward to EC for a long time, and I'm not really a big PC gamer, so I'll try to wait it out, unless it looks like its never gonna make it to WiiWare in the U.S. at all. This game looks like a blast, and I've been really wanting to play a new 'classic-style' platform for a really long time and this game looks like exactly what I was waiting for. I guess I'll have to wait a while longer now. Who knows, maybe I will get it for the PC, I just really wanted to use the Wiimote and the Nunchuck... I'm not a big fan of using the mouse and keyboard for video games.

Re: Super Mario RPG Released in Japan Today

MrPoo6321

Super Mario RPG is tha shiznat! I played that game all the time in 5th or 6th grade. By far, its one of the best Mario games around. I've been longing to replay this game ever since the existence of the Virtual Console. I hope it comes to America this Monday.

Re: Block Breaker Deluxe

MrPoo6321

too bad I got this game for free on my Blackberry 2 years ago under the name of Brick Breaker and before that, i had it on my old black and white macintosh when i was in elementary school.

Re: Nintendo: "Hard Drives Are For Geeks"

MrPoo6321

All of this space nonsense and Nintendo's seeming lack of resolve is pissing me off so bad, that I don't really want to play my Wii anymore. I don't want to support a company that doesn't take heed of what they're consumers have been demanding for almost two years. WTF is they're problem. It's a catch-22 they've put they're hardcore fans in, this generation, and if they don't do something about it soon I'm going to be spending a lot more time and money on my PS3, a system with proper storage solutions! I've never said these before but eff you, Big N. You suck hairy stinky sasquatch balls..... and I mean it.

Re: Review: My Pokémon Ranch

MrPoo6321

For some reason I want to buy this. I have a DS and Pokemon Diamond, but the limitations on this game are kind of retarded and I'm not sure I would really put the time into this game to make it worth the purchase. Also, I'm worried about space on my Wii.... I already have 3 WiiWare games and a crapload of VC titles and I'm sick of deleting things.

Re: US VC Releases - 9th June - NES Import Duo

MrPoo6321

I already have Dig-Dug on Namco Museum for the GBA. That's wierd that Nintendo chose to release the version of the game that never came to the U.S. I used to play Dig-Dug on an arcade machine in the game room at this christian basketball hall when I was a kid.

Re: EU - 6th June - No Virtual Console Games!

MrPoo6321

I have to agree with Mike on this one. You guys have been getting craploads of games for a while, when we've been lucky if we get two VC games per week.... Not to mention we don't have Vectorman or Mega Man 1 and 2 yet... so chill out and enjoy your loads and loads of games that Nintendo has already given you.

Re: US VC Release - 2nd June - Ninja Combat

MrPoo6321

i think it's because they're trying to promote the WiiWare games more. But I'm still frikkin' pissed that we don't have Vectorman. i mean, what could honestly be keeping it from a U.S. VC release? It doesn't make any sense!

Re: WiiWare Publishers Lament Release Date Shambles

MrPoo6321

It is frustrating to have to keep guessing when things are going to be released. Although, I've gotten used to this sort of thing with Nintendo. Remember all the delays Wind Waker and Twilight Princess had? Not to mention Smash Bros. Brawl. I don't really need WiiWare titles to be marketed to me, seeing as I do my own research on games, but I do understand the developers' desire to try and spread the word about their upcoming WiiWare games. What I really want is more storage. What they should do is release an external hard drive and it doesn't have to be too much, 10 or 20 gigs should suffice, and then put those USB ports to use and once the machine notices the new hardware, you can download an update which adds additional pages of Wii channels to represent all of the glorious new space. That's my dream for the Wii.

Re: New name for Dr. Mario WiiWare

MrPoo6321

dr. mario all the way baby! this is probably going to be the last puzzler i download. too bad they didnt add any online play to pokemon puzzle league... that would've been dope!

Re: ESRB Update: EarthBound Finally Coming To Virtual Console!

MrPoo6321

sweet!! I never got to play earthbound as a kid and i've always really wanted to. it came in a huuuuge box that looked like it had a super scope inside. i know the game doesn't use the super scope at all, but i've always been intrigued by that big 'ole box. and since then i've become very familiar with Ness in Smash Bros. and it's gonna be great to finally see where he came from. Now if we could only get Fire Emblem.....

Re: Star Parodier and other imports in the next Hanabi festival

MrPoo6321

i wonder if this means we'll be getting a bunch of imports this week? i really dont care too much about any of the games in the hanabi festival of may, so hopefully we'll get some different stuff in the states. although we're getting that one crappy beat 'em up this week, right? hopefully it's not the only one.

Re: Nintendo Wii hard drive coming soon?

MrPoo6321

Yeah, I really need an external hard drive for the wii. I was so pissed off that I had to delete star fox 64 to make room for smash bros. AND i've been holding off on purchasing mario kart because that creates a separate channel for online which means another game has to go.... they should let you install an external hard drive that comes with a firmware update that adds at least another 4 or 5 pages of channel windows. That would make me as happy as a little girl.

Re: US VC Releases - 28th April - Double Dragon

MrPoo6321

They should just call it Single Dragon for the NES.... but yeah this is one of the lamer updates we've ever had. Why don't they start giving us some things that are only in Europe... like Vectorman and Mega Man.... Boo Nintendo, Boo!

Re: EU VC Releases - 25th April - The Last Ninja

MrPoo6321

I hope we never get the C64, but that's just me. On monday, I know we're for sure getting Double Dragon on the NES, but who knows about the other one... I'm hoping they finally let us have Vectorman... but I hope that every week and then I get disappointed and cry and cut my arms with a razorblade in the bathroom to ease the pain.

Re: New WiiWare Game Allows You To Massacre Undead Animals in Style

MrPoo6321

I think High Voltage might be my new favorite game developer and I haven't even played any of their games yet... but did anyone read that article at ign.com on their upcoming FPS, Conduit? That game really looks great and its exciting to see a studio start to announce games that are a little more mature. This game sounds awesome, I hope it has the same kind of macabre tone as Conker's Bad Fur Day. Killing zombie zoo animals sounds like a great game idea to me!

Re: Top 20 'popular titles' on the Virtual Console - April 2008 (USA)

MrPoo6321

As someone who has downloaded Cruis'n USA, I can tell you exactly why it reached #7: NOSTALGIA! When I was a kid, everyone I knew played this game, you couldn't escape it. They had it at the arcades and then it was on everyone's N64. I'm sure there are a lot of other people like me that saw it and immediately downloaded it, no questions asked. I didn't need to go to a web site to see a review (which would have told me how crappy the game is) because I knew I would have fun playing an old game that I enjoyed as a kid. And I'd say it was worth the 10 bucks, except that now I have a bunch of N64 racing games, like Wave Race 64, Mario Kart 64, 1080 Snowboarding and F-Zero X

Re: European release dates for WiiWare and Nintendo Channel announced

MrPoo6321

It's really crazy how long Japan gets things before the US... I never really noticed before (probably because I wasn't on the internet all the time when I was a kid), but jeez! They've had the Nintendo Channel since November, right? Not to mention they've had Wii Fit since December, while we have to wait half a year. Although I guess I shouldn't really complain seeing how Europe gets screwed over more then we do. I feel really bad for you guys not having Brawl yet.... that wait for the release date was pretty excruciating. I'd hate to still be waiting, and it's gotta be made even worse by the fact that you probably know all of the characters and you won't be getting any addition fighters despite the long-ass delay.

Re: Three Interplay-Owned Franchises Coming to VC

MrPoo6321

Oh hell yeah, this is great news. I still have Earthworm Jim 2 for the SNES and I play that one all the time... that game is a classic and I'll definitely be downloading the original when it comes out. I also can't really see myself passing up on Boogerman. I remember playing it as a kid and really enjoying the humor of the game.... I don't recall it being a bad platformer by any means. And I remember renting Clay Fighter with my friends and having a decent time with it.... It might be worth 8 bucks just to take a little stroll through memory lane, but I can't see that game still having hours and hours of appeal. Who knows though, maybe I'm wrong. It's good to see 4 games that I actually played back in the day making it to the VC.

Re: Japan To Get Dracula X And Metal Slug Next Tuesday

MrPoo6321

and why do they get 4 games??? we've had a steady 2 games here in the US for all of '08... man, thats some bullshizz.... they should just have 2 weeks where they give us games that have taken forever to come out here like Vectorman and Megaman... maybe they'll do that with the long-awaited River City Ransom.... although we didn't have to wait as long for that one as we are for the other 2.

Re: Japan To Get Dracula X And Metal Slug Next Tuesday

MrPoo6321

I would download Rondo of Blood if it came to America... I never really played any of the Castlevania games except for one that was on the PS2... I think it was called Lament of Innocence? or maybe it was Dawn of Sorrow? It was the one where you play as Leon Belmont, and I might be mistaken, but I think it was the first 3D Castlevania game. I've been debating downloading Super Castlevania IV, but I think I might just wait for Rondo of Blood.
