Backward compatibility is a must have, I still have so many unplayed games, would be awesome if I can play those on the next console maybe even with a performance boost, would love to replay Xenoblade games and BOTW and TOTK with better graphics.

@xmkbest no you are correct, 万 means 10 thousands so everything should be multiplied by 10. 450k is wrong, would have been a disaster too if the app only got downloaded 450k times in its first year in Japan.

@WiltonRoots yeah but there's no way that Nintendo won't hold it back to launch with the next Console. Else that one won't have that many launch titles or games coming closely out after the launch

At this point Nintendo should do a price drop to boost sales and to hype up for the successor

At the current speed I don't see why I should waste 50 bucks per year if I can get online play for 20 bucks.

@apoqalypse I have no framerate issues at all playing the game. The only framerate issues I have is during loading the game which is not an issue at all.

@Tantani hm I don't think 1500 sold xboxes in Japan is really bad... I mean we are talking about Japan here, most xboxes are bought by American soldiers stationed in Japan, if not all xboxes.

somehow I have the feeling you guys are a little tooooo optimistic. I doubt we get a special hardware or games from the gameboy series... would love to see that tho.

Even though I still want to buy 10 games or so (all third parties) for the Switch, the lack of first party announcement from Nintendo is indeed a little depressing/disappointing. Granted we got 2 really amazing games (ACNH and XCDE) and 2 good games (MP and CG51WC), the second half of the year is.... Blatant.

Furthermore I have the feeling some other major companies are not taking it as seriously as with E3. None of the announced games really blew me away or got me like "I need/want this".

E3 definitely needs some changes but it is still one of the best format present.

@Trajan Japan is a 'dying' nation right now with the decay of population and workforce, the economy didn't grow or barely grew in the last 2 or 3 decades, it is hardly imagineable that they will all move back to Japan. It could work out in a way with the US but stuffs would get a lot more expensive so... I doubt it will happen except some luxury brands or entreprises with overly loyal customers.

@Trajan That cannot happen, both economies would crush down since both economies are kinda inflated, Chinese by heavily exporting and the American by heavily consuming. If the Americans stop consuming chaos would break out in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Houston and Los Angeles. Those cities would go bankrupt within days or even hours. In China cities like Shenzhen, Shanghai, Tianjin, Hongkong or Chengdu will follow the American ones after a little delay and both countries' economy would cease to exist. The world will follow...

@AnnoyingFrenzy sad thing is people cannot difference between an objective analysis and preferences or opinions for a topic. There are bad and good things happening in China, one cannot outrule one thing to justify the other one.

1 3DS game, 5 Switch games, 2 DVDs, quite a few christmas gifts so yeah was quite good.

@nessisonett yeah I stopped buying pokemon gaming cards for 2 gen and now my cards are all obsolete and underpowered! back then a pokemon with 120 kp or 130 was counted as very strong with an attack of 60+, now even 100 is nothing, 200 hp is nothing too... they are going nuts

@Kalmaro well I can imagine that they still had to do some changes like downgrading or adapting it for the Switch hardware but yeah... it can't be that hard for them if they are in fact being able to port the whole game over....

@Ufuso yeah I know about the updates on other consoles, is it also for the switch? Because if it is I might grab it then, it would be a sign from their side, that they will keep on improving the game so it might one day reach the status of fluently playable.

@Kalmaro yeah.... I have heard they brought out quite a lot of Updates on PS4 and so and looked waaay better now, hoped the Switch version would start right out with the updated one so it won't that big of a mess but... well too bad

why can't they just bring it out as a trilogy for 30 or 40 bucks?! 20 bucks for each game and every time solo and only digital... this is a joke

this is a joy in my heart, every single word is filled with hope if a game is free to play I have nothing against cosmetic stuffs being sold separately but games like Fifa or so is a slap to our faces.

Labyrinth of refrain, have to finish it, Xenoblade, will try out the AI Demo, Hellblade and will try out Oninaki Demo. Maybe I will play Bloodstained for the first time now after sitting in my shelf for 2 months now or so
