We compile this list using the USA region Wii Shop channel, so if you live elsewhere your list will probably be quite a bit different. Please feel free to post your region's findings below as always.
Keep in mind that the list below is a measure of actual sales made recently, not of the total time the game has been available for sale.
Here is the list for the 28th of January:
1 - World of Goo
2 - Tetris Party
3 (3) - My Aquarium
4 (4) - Cue Sports - Pool Revolution
5 (7) - Dr Mario Online Rx
6 (6) - Fun! Fun! Minigolf
7 (5) - Sandy Beach
8 (8) - Target Toss Pro: Bags
9 (9) - Brain Challenge
10 (10) - Midnight Bowling
11 (13) - My Pokémon Ranch
12 (11) - Tiki Towers
13 (12) - Defend your Castle
14 (14) - Wild West Guns
15 (15) - TV Show King
16 (16) - Mega Man 9
17 (17) - Frat Party Games - Pong Toss

19 (19) - Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King
20 (20) - Sudoku Challenge!
This week’s analysis is quick and simple. There really hasn’t been much change to speak of. The top 4 is identical to last week with World of Goo still flexing its muscles and Tetris Party coming a close second.
Aside from that all the other games just shuffled around a few spots. Planet Pachinko, Jungle Speed have failed to chart despite being out for over two weeks now. It’s also not looking great for Family Glide Hockey or High Voltage Hot Rod Show which came out 9 days ago, but perhaps we should wait one more week before writing them off?
Niki - Rock 'n' Ball has only been out for 2 days so there is still some hope. At just 500 Wii points we recommend you give it a chance at least.
What are your thoughts on this week’s results?

Is 2DBoy working on something to top WoG?
If they are, they're keeping quiet about it. They'd be fools not to, though.
And they're not fools.
World of Goo Cant be shaken!!!!
A surprising, hidden sequel would be a good idea, but they're waiting until WoG loses its fame first (which looks like never)
I picked up Jungle Speed and though I tend not to like card games where you don't have to think, I thought it was pretty good. Of course we always have 4 or 5 people ready to play the Wii at any moment, so multiplayer games rate highly.
Surprised Hot Rod Show did so badly, that will probably end any hope of Animales de Muerte making a WiiWare appearance...sad!
darn on not seeing Hot rod show its overpriced at 1000 points but its a good buy if you like racing games like me
In case anyone wanted to know, this is the first time a 500 Wii Point game never appeared on the Top 20 Three weeks since its release.
Considering the lack of new games on the listing now, I have a feeling that this Top 20 will remain like this until another BIG Wiiware game comes out. January has been one of the more mediocre months since Wiiware started, in terms of big games, which might explain why no new games have debuted the last three weeks or so.
In fact, ONLY Sandy Beach has appeared on the Top 20 out of all releases in January. There's still hope for the release this week, but I have my doubts. Here's hoping more movement happens in February!
Serving as a stark contract compared to the utterly uneventful US chart, the Swedish chart is once again here to serve you one big slice of chart madness. And this week certainly doesn't fail to deliver. You'll se what I mean.
(1) 1 - World Of Goo

(7) 7 - Bomberman Blast
(10) 8 - Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life As A King

No WoT this week...
world of goo is still number 1!
I just downloaded Cue Sports 2 hours ago
Tough times for the new games on WW. And as usual, the top games continue to sell like hotcakes (which are apparently very sellable.)
Daaaaannnnggggg.
I thought everybody in the world has WoG by now.
Quick, WiiWare Poll everybody:
Who here does NOT have World of Goo?
I have it and it was worth every single point
@Bahamut ZERO
I DO NOT HAVE WORLD OF GOO
I don't have any money for Wii Points
@slamber: gasp
Sell your couch man! Or at least sell $20 worth of video games at Gamespot. 2 crappy Wii games (or one copy of Mario & Sonic) should net you enough for a Wii Points card!
You must buy it. For the sake of the entire universe!
I don't have World of Goo, either. I'm waiting for Cave Story right now before I buy any other WiiWare games right now. Since I have an odd number of points (1900, to be exact) I don't want to make any more purchases until I can even things out, y'know? But once Cave Story comes out, World of Goo will be purchased sometime soon after.
@Bahamut ZERO. Me, because I rarely get a chance to add more points, and when I do, I spend them on something else and never have 1500 to spare.
@Ricardo91 and MisterSmith
You guys have to get World of Goo! The game will last much longer than any other wiiware games, and it competes with many $50 games in quality. Save up the money and get it already!
@MisterMith and Ricardo: Make a special purchase of Wii Points. Itll be more than worth it.
Im suprised that people her edont own WoG. After all it got a 10/10 and was first on the Top 20 forever now.
I know WoG is great, but it's quite amazing that it's standing still; on the other hand, can anyone tell me how Pong Toss is still up there, and it hasn't move in 2 weeks, if there is something that has to happen for the sake of the entire universe, is Pong Toss' Fall .
@Bahamut
Yeah, but I like Mario and Sonic! It's a fun game.
And besides, I don't have any crappy Wii games. I read reviews before buying.
No major changes, but now the 500 points is no longer an oppurtunity to reach the top 20.
I'm still a bit disappointed that Jungle Speed hasn't cracked the Top 20. Oh well, what are you gonna do?
Hmm, maybe the WiiWare chart is starting to slow down like the VC chart is... speaking of which why aren't there any articles about the VC top 20?
Oh yeah and I don't have World of Goo yet either...
Ya dude get WoG will change your life .....or at least the next few months that your addicted to it ....Also i cant figure out why stinken space invaders isnt up there at all. Yes, it's expensive to get the whole thing, but WoG is $15 and Space Invaders is only $20 and you dont even have to buy it all at once. You can buy it as you play. i honestly think it's by far one of the better games and should be sharing the pedastals with WoG and Lost Winds. Heck I don't even LIKE shotters and I'm saying this.
2D Boy FTW!
I predict from 2D Boy next...'World of Goo Construction Kit'.
Like LIttleBigPlanet only much, much better.
Of course I'm basing this on no evidence whatsoever...but I can dream.
@ themortalangel
For me it is the sheer size requirements.
The main D/L is too daunting for my block starved Wii.
Honestly, the space requirement is keeping me from spending close to $100 on digital downloads.
Guitar Hero World Tour and Rock Band 2 proved that because with the streamlined sd storage interface I have D/L'd over 30 songs between them both.
Honestly, the space requirement is keeping me from spending close to $100 on digital downloads.
Really?
I was always under the impression Nintendo's method of online storage allowed people to download as many games as possible.
But if I have a different Wii than you, I understand completely.
@ Bahamut ZERO
i got WOG when it 1st came out i play it all the time tryin to get the ocd marks on every stage to me it jus seems like a no brainer 2 download
No WoG here. It just never seemed that interesting.
'm still a bit disappointed that Jungle Speed hasn't cracked the Top 20. Oh well, what are you gonna do?
Blog about it?: http://gonintendo.com/?p=70911
That aside I wonder if NOE sending out e-mails advertising various WiiWare games inlcuding SPOGs racing has had any effect on its standing in Europe. In Sweden it was already pretty high...
I have no interest in World of Goo, which is why I haven't bought it. Dr. Mario and Mega Man 9 are the only WiiWare games I own. Icarian looks interesting though. When does it come out?
Tetris Party has knocked World of Goo down to 2nd place on the USA
Wiiware chart shortly after this was posted, I'd say it's because of the Tetris Party tournament but thats my guess.
Sorry it's late - been a wee bit busy -

Games that NEED to move down next week:
My Bloody Aquarium; TV Show King; The Incredible Maze; Wild West Guns
Only Goodbye
Art Style: CUBELLO
Special Return
Midnight Bowling
IN YOUR FACE of the week
Still Nintendo, for thinking that ONLY releasing Lonpos for the last update would get them some sales. HA!
"Wow, they're still there?" award:
My Pokemon Ranch
What we can expect this Friday:
Snowboard Riot; Jungle Speed; Sandy Beach; Pop Up Pirate; Equilibrio; Family Glide Hockey
Games that have been PEGI rated that we may expect this Friday (although the chances aren't that high):
Beer Pong; Bruiser & Scratch; Groovin' Blocks; Protothea; Family Party; Manic Monkey Mayhem
Also: however many games Nintendo releases tomorrow, I'm still going to be angry with them. If they release three or less, that's simply not enough in comparison with the rest of the month, and if they release four or more, it will anger me more about only getting one game last time, when the games releases could be spread out more evenly.
Oh - and special mention to Djungelurban's home country of Sweden for getting Toki Tori back in the top twenty. WOOPWOOPWOOP!
Oh - and nice to see the Japanese charts again.
Shortly after this was posted tetris party passed world of goo. The top 3 is now:
1. Tetris party
2. World of Goo
3. My Aquarium
Crikey: didn't see that change coming. Maybe the new tournament has sent interest in Tetris Party upward, although it seems kind of unlikely.
