Goo remains supreme!

It's time to take a look at the most popular WiiWare titles available in the Wii Shop. If you're feeling adventurous you can even take a look for yourself by simply logging on to your Wii Shop channel, heading into the WiiWare section and then viewing "Popular Games". It's that simple! Trust us, if we can do it, anyone can.

We compile this list using the USA region Wii Shop channel, so if you live elsewhere your list will probably be quite a bit different. Please feel free to post your region's findings below as always.

Keep in mind that the list below is a measure of actual sales made recently, not of the total time the game has been available for sale.

Here is the list for the 1st of April:

20 (19) - Tiki Towers
19 (16) - Sandy Beach
18 (15) - TV Show King
17 (18) - Bomberman Blast
16 (14) - Wild West Guns

7 (7) - Cue Sports - Pool Revolution
6 (6) - Dr Mario Online Rx
5 (5) - Onslaught
4 (4) - Bit.Trip Beat
3 (2) - Tetris Party
2 (3) - My Aquarium
1 (1) - World of Goo

* (N) - Denotes a new entry on the Top 20

World of Goo seems to have regained its stranglehold on the top spot and My Aquarium has once again reclaimed the #2 spot ahead of Tetris Party as well. The "Big Three" just can't be stopped as Bit.Trip Beat wasn't able to knock any of them off this week. Maybe it will next week?

The big climber this week was Hudson's Pop'Em Drop'Em SAMEGAME, which jumped from off the charts completely, all the way up to #11. It will be interesting to see how far it can climb. We have a pair of big droppers this week in TV Show King and Sandy Beach, both of which fell a paltry 3 spots to #18 and #19 respectively.

While there wasn't a huge amount of movement this week, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King and Bomberman Blast are both still enjoying their unexpected resurgence that continues this week. On a more somber note, Konami's Gradius Rebirth wasn't able to enjoy much of a rebirth as it has now fallen completely off the Top 20 altogether.
